Theatre Hotel (Olomouc, Moravia) Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"Just a couple of kilometers from Olomouc Castle sits the Theatre Hotel, whose décor and theme are subtly inspired by the city’s theatrical traditions. There are 20 comfortable rooms to choose from, all of which provide a decent amount of acreage, are warmly decorated and prove suitably comfortable. Along with a spa, there’s also a casino, but it’s the attentive and eager service team that really sets the hotel apart." - Tablet Hotels

It was my first time at this hotel. The staff at the front desk was nice and friendly, the assigned parking was a pleasant surprise. The restaurant on the other hand was a disappointment. As a hotel guest who arrived in the evening at dinner time, I had no choice of any food. The restaurant was full and they had no a la cart choices, only tasting menu! There are no other restaurants to go to in walking proximity so this was a huge disappointment. The breakfast buffet had lots of choices and again, breakfast staff was very nice. |The wellness Scene was really nice, big pool would be nice addition. The girl at the wellness front desk was nice but had no clue about their products.|The hotel decor was nice but not enough light anywhere which makes it feel like its not clean (although it might be). The room had nice size, sheets were clean and crisp but there was this ugly brown plaid all over bed. Everything in the room is brown (different shades) which is quite boring and ugly. Liked the storage armoir in the room and coffee maker.

As a seasoned traveler who frequents 40+ hotels annually, it's rare to encounter a place as captivating as the Theatre Hotel in (near) Olomouc, Czech Republic. This boutique gem, with a mere 20 rooms, orchestrates a hospitality experience that resonates like a beautifully conducted symphony. Reception: A Masterpiece of Design Upon entry, the chic sophistication is palpable. The lobby, adorned with supple leathers, rich textiles, and dramatic furniture, feels like a warm embrace of luxury. The centerpiece is an espresso machine, a sculptural marvel in copper, setting the stage for a unique experience. Act One: A Nature-Inspired Journey The hotel interior is a tribute to Mother Nature's evolving beauty. Navigating through the hotel feels like a delightful exploration, discovering new details with each step. The standard rooms defy their name, offering spacious luxury, while the Jr. Suites are so homely, one might wish to stay forever. Act Two: Scene Wellness Center The Scene Wellness Center is where sophistication meets serenity. With its mood lighting and varied relaxation zones, it offers a spa experience that's both lavish and therapeutic. The deep tissue massage I received was a profound encounter of relief and realization, highlighting the therapist's skill in addressing hidden stress points. Finale: Entrée Restaurant Entrée, the hotel's fine-dining restaurant, is a culinary ode to nature. Its decor, from the plant-adorned walls to the fish sculpture ceiling, is a visual feast. The dining experience is an exquisite blend of innovation and nature, with dishes that are as fresh and flavorful as they are artistically presented. Verdict Every aspect of the Theatre Hotel, from its nature-inspired design to its world-class amenities, is thoughtfully crafted. It's a rare find in Olomouc, setting a high bar for luxury and comfort. A stay or a meal here isn't just an experience; it's an invitation to a world where elegance and nature coexist in perfect harmony, leaving you yearning for an encore.

I will start with the good thing: Rooms are new, clean and beautifully designed. But that is about it. TV signal was really bad, we couldnt watch neither TV nor YouTube on TV. Welness was a really unpleasant surprise. You will pay 500+ czk per person to "book" a specific time in the wellness just to realize it's completely crowded as they have booked 10+ more people for the same time. Breakfast was really nothing special as well. Scrambled eggs were really runny, poor selection of vegetables etc... All in all, I really don't think it's worth the high-end price.

Really great hotel. Excellent room furniture and equipment - the designer did a great job. Great breakfast - be careful with coffee - is stronger than standard. The price level is at higher range for Olomouc city. There is spa and massages as well but didn't have time to enjoy it.

This hotel is just amazing. You are welcomed by nice lady at the reception who makes the small tour around the hotel including amazing restaurant. The room is designed as modern clean room, very cozy and luxurious. I had massage in the spa - can only recommend. The main lowlight is the position of the hotel - it is close to the bus terminal which can be both convenient but also not nice surrounding.

Being the regular worldwide traveler there are very few things that can surprise me, but this hotel is just amazing in every sense....and especially when considering it it located in a relatively small city like Olomouc. The hotel is only 1 year old. Whenever in the city I was staying in NH hotel being in my opinion no.1 in the town, but after my experience with Theatre... I have to tell you that Theatre declasses all the hotel options within hundreds of kilometers for good!!! You can't miss it whenever looking for an accommodation around here.

I would like to express my opinion about our experience with this hotel: 1.) the hotel rooms are comfortable and tastefully designed, there is no question about it, 2.) our breakfast was avarage given the price of the accomodation and the quality of breakfasts served in similar hotels located in Moravia, 3.) the hotel restaurant is well known and had been booked out before we booked our stay. We were informed about this fact in advance and could opt for cancelling our stay, and that´s fair enough too (we did not cancel it since we though we could rely on the room service as it is usually the case in good four-star hotels). However, the list of dishes served via the room service were limited to a small amount of really simple dishes such as fried cheese with french fries etc., and in addition, another fee was charged for the room service. I do not argue additional charges for the room service, but a hotel should make a reservation for its own guest in the first place and if this is not possible, there should be no additional charge for simple (and obviously overpriced) dishes served directly in the hotel room which were ordered solely due to the incapacity of the hotel management. And the best joke: the hotel, even though with four-star, provides NO opprotunity to have an evening drink - it is impossible to go to the restaurant, there is NO lobby bar serving wine or any other drinks except for coffee and juices. When we asked if they can recommend a nice place in the city center where we could have a glass of good wine - the answer was simply NO. To be frank and honest, the hotel looks good, but for us it was just a highly overpriced bed and breakfast stay for 3 nights.

Slightly out of Olomouc centre but really excellent hotel. Super friendly and helpful staff, beautiful decor, lovely wellness, great breakfast and possibly the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in with pillows galore. Super relaxing weekend.
