I first went to this location shortly after it opened, to check it out. Its got more space to be funky, and John Scott definitely took advantage of that. 60's/70's decor, manequins, and creepy family photography are just a few of the things you will see at this location, in addition to people working out.
This location's art seems to swap out more regularly than the River Market location, which is cool too.
I like the weights and pilates classes at this location, but I don't like doing solo cardio here. There are mainly treadmills with a few elliptical options, and since there are no TVs (I'm not counting the fuzzy black and white TVs that serve more as decor) I find it really hard to make myself do much, which is why I am not giving it 5 stars. If you are a cardio king/queen, that may not pose an issue for you. The parking lot is wonky, which is just typical of downtown. If it's full, there's street parking available.
This location has a decent amount of space, offers several kinds of classes, always has music playing in case you forget or don't have an iPod, and good air conditioning. Aside from the lack of TVs, this is a great location with a great vibe.
