Theobroma Bakery and Cake Shop - Pali Hill, Mumbai

Service is so poor.u order a cake,customise,they give you a packed box,to go home and realise The Happy Birthday is missing. Worse is the customer service response. They do nothing,argumentative and unhelpful.

Theobroma used to be my go to place for cakes. I wouldn't recommend it anymore. They have 3 shelves of eggless cakes and 1 shelf of the real deal. Surprising since they do stock non-vegetarian sandwiches and snacks. The quality of the cakes has gone down and the service is terrible, except for the super polite doorman. They don't even keep simple birthday or anniversary toppers, don't give candles, everything is at an extra charge.

Updated review as of 9/11/24: I have eaten almost everything from here and I do not recommend this place anymore. It has further fallen in quality and everything is just too dry. It's just not worth it, taste and price wise. Unless there's a massive overhaul, i'd avoid this place :( Old review: Ate two different brownies and found them a little sweet for my taste buds, store is very aesthetic and staff were friendly enough.

One of the best bakeries 🥯 in the city no doubt! I have used their bread, croissants and wall nut cake and I must say all of them met my expectations. I got disappointed with their fruit juice made of Mango. First of all that was super expensive and the worst in quality. I will recommend not to have juice at this place as ut is not their forte.

Had a quick stop here to buy pastries. The service was super quick and the pastries were nice and fresh. There was decent space to sit and sound 5 tables available. Their cakes are usually good too but haven’t tried it from this outlet.

I really like theobroma for its kind of chocolate. Also they use good authentic ingredients. And everyone knows how good is their brownie. However I am disappointed with a few things. Firstly their half kg cake is extremely small as compared to any other cake shop. I find it surprising. And no, it's not that it has a great height that the breadth is tiny. It is just average. Secondly, their Cappuccino is synonymous to water. Thirdly, almost at all their outlets the chocolate mousse is always stocked out. Not denying that yes some of the products are great, but somethings can definitely worked on.

Went to this place to buy their brownies which are so famous and yum. Located on main Linking road... This place has the yummiest cakes and some evening snacks. Good place to chill out in the evenings with family or friends. You should try their Rye bread, which comes when the store opens in the morning and is sold then... Always sold off... It really is healthy and tastes good. Recently they came up with Rasin and Rum Brownie which tastes bet good. Parking is not available and seating is also an issue as it's crowded in evening. Over all my all time favourite store.

Always a good place to visit, I'm in love with their Monday BOGO offers. It helps that it is a 4 min walk at max from my office. My go-to food item here is the quiche. Veg or chicken, both will delight. The brownies are excellent. Any food you order here, you can be assured on the quality aspect; it's really good. If you haven't already been here a 100+ times, what are you waiting for? 😜
