Theofilos Paradise Boutique Hotel - Mytilene Lesvos Greece

Our room was booked as a deluxe double but in actuality was a room from the 1950s in decor and ambience and very much lacking in floor space. Our nearest double deluxe room had a balcony, possibly larger floor space and was less cluttered by the amount of dated furnishings we had. |It certainly appeared much more ‘roomy. The advertised roof top bar and pool area was far from as advertised - bar not open during our 3 night stay. The pool spa was non operational. On a positive, the staff were friendly and helpful, the location was excellent with the breakfast typically of Greek cuisine and with attentive breakfast staff. Our rating could have been different if we had been allocated the room that was advertised. Certainly needed for a comfortable three night stay.

Absolutely wonderful hotel, great location in the heart of Mytilene. The staff; Theo, Dimitris, Stratos and Stella have been so friendly and helpful. They truly went above and beyond to make sure everything was pleasant. The breakfast is delightful and there's a tiny pool on the roof if you want to cool off without having to go too far in the summer heat. The rooms and beds are very comfortable and from what I could tell they all have unique patios overlooking different areas. Overall an absolutely perfect stay. I stayed at the hotel for one night on 08.08.2025. I wish they had more places to stay. The staff, service and cleanliness are very nice. I was very satisfied. I was only unhappy with the taxi that was called to the hotel. To be frank, I do not think the hotel was aware of this. The taxi driver charged us two euros more than the taxi meter fee at the place where he dropped us off. The location of the hotel and the friendliness of the staff are very nice. I had a small accident during the stay and I sprained my leg. The hotel staff was very attentive. My friend was also very pleased with me. It was very enjoyable. Thank you very much.

Not as good as it makes you think at first sight. I had booked the Superior Double Room and upon arrival was given a different type of room (Standard Double Room, which is cheaper than what I had paid for). When I raised this with the reception I was told that the rooms are of the same value (but a visit on the hotel's website will convince you that's not the case) and they had given me that room because it was more spacious, had a balcony, and was also available when I had arrived (I had arrived earlier than the check-in time). When I said that I can wait until the room I had actually booked is ready, the receptionist got quite uncomfortable and suggested they can show me different types of rooms that would be available sooner. I ended up taking another Standard Double Room that at least had more exposure to the sun (the room I was initially given was pretty dark). The impression this whole situation gave me was that they had overbooked their Superior Double Rooms... The room I ended up in was not great either. The bedsheets had stains and hair on them, I also found hair on one of the towels, the A/C was stuck on the cold function even though the temperature was already cold and humid and despite not using the A/C after all it would make noise at night even while switched off (it was a pretty old and dusty A/C as well), it took two days to be given a proper duvet, and the shower and bathtub were simply falling apart... Overall, a very distressing experience, unprofessional behaviour and a clear waste of money. I wouldn't visit this hotel again (in fact, I was counting the days for my visit to end) and definitely don't recommend it.

The most disgusting hotel I've ever been. Rooms were filthy and there was body hair on the beds. Bathroom was clogged and there were hair everywhere. Employees were so rude. I came here with a tour and this happened before. If you love yourself and want to have a great time. Do not come here

Deluxe room and hotel were clean. Breakfast was average. Location was excellent for downtown Mytilini. The only problem was that the bathroom shower was to small, cruise ship sized.

This hotel is a gem! It is situated off the busiest night life street In Mytilini. The buildings are on the newer side. The rooms are spacious and clean. I would stay here again.

Very comfortable, but close to bars which are open till late, but don't let put you off.
