Thermae 2000

I had a nice weekend of relaxation. My room was spacious, clean and with a nice view of the forest and a massage chair. There were a lot of saunas and baths to visit. the location was nice, close to a small village and not far from Maastricht accessible by bus or bike. I’d recommend that staff checking guests in share more about the in room tablet. There was info on there that would’ve made my experience nicer if I noticed it was there earlier. I was also really disappointed that some saunas were not open on time. I had a short time before check out and wanted to go to a specific sauna that was to open at 10am. It wasn’t. I came back 30min later it still wasn’t open. No one was around to help or at the info desk. There were other people waiting as well. Restaurant service was inattentive and I had to wave to get attention.

I had such a lovely time. The place is amazing for relaxing surrounded by nature. I went there to disconnect and recharge and I was not disappointed. There is a large choice of sauna to try out. This is definitely on my list. I will come back again.

We loved the peaceful atmosphere, especially on weekdays when it’s less crowded. Everything was clean and well-maintained, and the staff were helpful and polite. We stayed at the wellness hotel — the room was cozy and connected directly to the spa, which was super convenient. Some things to keep in mind: towels, bathrobes, and slippers are not included unless you bring your own or book a package. It can also get quite busy on weekends, so for the best experience, try to go midweek. 📍 Tip: Book online to save money and guarantee entry. The overall experience at Thermae 2000 was pleasant, especially thanks to the relaxing sauna and pool facilities. Despite the weekend crowds, the staff provided fairly good service throughout our visit. However, the cleanliness of the room left something to be desired; there was noticeable dust in the corners and on various surfaces, and the balcony could have been better maintained. With some attention to housekeeping, the stay would have been much more enjoyable.

Everything was perfect! I would give 5* for the room once their renovation is done. Queen mama and reception were impeccable! Amazing breakfast time and as usual everything were so relaxing and efficient. I will be back soon.

The massage was excellent and really helped release all my muscle tension. The spa can feel a bit crowded, but it has beautiful views and a lovely outdoor space to enjoy when the weather is nice.

It’s that the view and the indoor plants are so great, but they made some mistakes in how it’s built vs the effort they are willing to spend on cleaning. The floors are made of a really cool rough stone tile, but tis in a wet space means you constantly have little pools of still water and more everywhere. And if you brush it it’s ok, but no it was really dirty, especially at the showers. And first I thought, ah I just keep my slippers on, but there’s more and more where you start to notice it. Even our towels have never smelled this bad before. But hopefully they improve this and then it will really be something I’d recommend.

The experience at the spa with thermal water and a variety of saunas is really relaxing and enjoyable. The structure, facilities, and rooms are well maintained and immersed in the wonderful landscape of Limburg. The staff is very kind and attentive. Special mention for Anita, who greatly mastered the experience at the Rusul Sauna.
