Just to be clear everything about this place is amazing, except handling food with the same gloves as you handle money, and the gloves are dirty looking . I have never gotten sick, but there could be that time.

Thy Mai

Google
They don't care what they served you nor how old their products. If you decided to try any, open and taste it first before you leave the joint. HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENED!!

Ocean Crossing

Google
Was there 3 Wednesday ago. I bought a vegetarian sandwich for my friend. When my friend opened it up and found that the vegetarian sandwich only have the garnish veggies. Missing everything else. Very disappointed.

Google
Awesome people work here, very polite! Food can be made to order! Wonderful experience!!! Thank you!

Google
Charging 1$ more to use card unless purchased $20. Credit card fee is less $1 per transaction. Making extra $ off fees is just not good. Losing business, lost mine. Focus on making good food.

Google
banh mi dac biet with extra pate is my goto comfort food here be prepared for CRUMBS everywhen you bite the sandwich yum

Google
An excellent little deli for your vietnamese sandwich needs. A friend recommended i check this place out and i absolutely love it now. They have a great selection of sandwiches and other vietnamese staples. Their bbq pork sandwiches are by far my favorite. The staff is friendly and the restaurant is very clean. They also work very quick, and the price is shockingly fair. Great quality all around. The ingredients they use taste so fresh.

Google
Good sandwich at a decent price. I had the Vietnamese Ham and pate. I didn't know what to expect with the pate. If you close your eyes and didn't know what it is you would swear it was avocado. Delicious. EBT accepted.

Yelp
Easily among the top Vietnamese Banh Mi spots in Orange County! These are my current favorites in OC: 1. Pickle Banh Mi 2. Banh Mi Saigon 3. THH Sandwiches.

Yelp
TLDR; It's good, there's nothing to rave about but it's an enjoyable meal if it's convenient. Solid place for a solid sandwich with reasonable prices.

Tyanne

Yelp
Maybe good for other food like sandwiches and snacks but not for their banh bao! It's small and doesn't come stuffed with red sausage nor egg which is the basic ingredients along with optional peas and carrots, mushrooms! And it's not even tasty!

Yelp
Got to say, the foods quality are consistently for yrs that I had been eaten here (and their other places). Fast services (unless you are behind a chic-chat folks that love to ask about everything with the cashiers). The cashiers are nice & friendly. This location needs a deep clean up or update cause it's old and abit gloomy. The bread is aok but with the prices, it's perfect. They do sell others foods too, and at reasonable price. I normally get egg roll, coffee, sandwich, and some sweet stuff.

Yelp
Was looking for banh cuon and found this place on Yelp. It's a chain and they have various locations in different cities. I found the names to be very confusing. I ended up at the sandwich shop. The girl at the counter was not friendly at all, kind of snappy, grumpy and seems like she hates her job. She was annoyed when I asked her questions. She shouldn't be at the counter if she hates talking. This place specializes in sandwiches. They sell premade banh cuon only. They're already plated. Be careful when you purchase the plated banh cuon because you can't really see what's inside underneath and they're not labeled. I purchased one that was plain and didn't have any meat, which is not what I wanted. We tried the desserts, sandwiches, banh cuon and coffee. They don't have any hot coffee, only iced. The premade desserts are good. They have a whole operations of ladies making sandwiches there. They were delicious. I ended up buying three plain breads to take home and a tub of pate. They have a restroom which needs a code. My friend had to immediately use it after he ate there and had the runs. He was ok afterwards. Not sure if it was due to lack of cleanliness? Definitely not a sparkly spot. He had the fried chicken sandwich. Maybe avoid that one. There are a couple of tables and chairs if you want to eat there. There are also a few outside tables. I highly recommend buying bread to take home. They're perfectly made and crunchy. I also ordered my usual pate cha lua sandwich which prompted me to buy the ingredients to take home.

Yelp
The banh mi was decent. Nothing exceptional but it wasn't terrible. The eggrolls were yummy. I also got a Vietnamese coffee. All for $12- can't beat that price.

Christine T.

Yelp
Wow. This place really sucks now. Inflation hasn't gone up this much to sell "sandwiches " that are literally overpriced cold baguettes with a piece of fish cake slapped inside and that was also cold and tough. Really? We have given this place enough chances over the course of a couple months. Just a year ago it was not like this. Today's was the worst because there isn't even a crumb of any vegetable in sight even when I asked for pickles inside. Can you at least ad a sprig of cilantro or even a few carrots? How can other places like Pickle Banh Mi and Carrot and Daikon sell humongous sandwiches stuffed with veggies and this place cannot? Either fix your food and stop ripping people off or just make room for something better.

Yelp
My office shares their eggrolls every Christmas- that's how I found out about them. Best eggrolls around...hands down!!! Too good to have just for Christmas- Will come back again and again!

Yelp
Ban Coun so good, fast and the service is go great the ambiance is appropriate for to go food.

Nicole N.

Yelp
This place food is getting more expensive and they DON'T taste good. Example: "Banh Duc Man" is made with flour and coconut milk (don't taste coconut at all) and should top with fresh cooked shrimp minced. There was no shrimp only ground pork in small pieces with red color. Who is in the right eats food color (causes cancer) these days? It used to be $5.99 for a big container and now it's $12.99. it's ripped off food to go, folk. Time to stop shopping in this place.

Yelp
We always get the #1 dac biet and #2 thit nuong! Delicious and the best combo is to have half of both. There's usually a line that will move along and when it gets busy it can be a 15-20 minute wait in line until you get your food. Sometimes we call in the order for pick up!
google avatar

Yelp
Fast service although they do have some trouble understanding English. But the important thing is that they are willing to help. Ordered the grilled pork and chicken breast banh mi. The mix of cilantro, peppers, radish, really complements the banh mi making it a really quick and easy lunch. Add an egg or an extra slice of ham for some more customization as well!

Yelp
First off don't pick up the phone and hang up when a customer is asking a question. Very unprofessional. I called the 2nd time and a lady tells me to wait for me and leaves me on the phone and never comes back. I called the 3rd time and FINALLY a decend gentleman who speaks English answers my question. That is how you lose customers.

Yelp
I visited THH Sandwiches expecting "friendly, fast, fresh food" as advertised but was disappointed. I ordered two egg sandwiches, iced coffee, sesame balls, and spring rolls. The cashier, Linh at register one, acted like she couldn't hear or understand me, despite others speaking in softer voices. She wasn't friendly and seemed annoyed when I tried to pay with two different methods, refusing my Visa gift card. Strangely, the same card worked later for the coffee she forgot to charge initially. After waiting an unreasonable amount of time for my order (#204099, ticket 238), I never heard my number called. When I asked for a refund, the sandwiches suddenly appeared--but they had been sitting there, so I didn't want them. The staff insisted my number had been called, but this experience was disorganized and frustrating. Non-Vietnamese speakers may feel unwelcome. I won't be returning.

Michael M.

Yelp
I was really disappointed with the sandwiches and spring rolls from THH. I was waiting for 30 minutes . The bread on the sandwich was dry and stale, and the fillings were skimpy--hardly any meat or veggies, just mostly bread. The flavors were bland, and it lacked the freshness you'd expect from a good bánh mì. The spring rolls weren't any better. The rice paper was tough and chewy, like they made new but it seems had been sitting out too long. The filling was mostly lettuce with barely any shrimp or pork, and the peanut sauce was watery and lacked flavor. The meat old not fresh & dark They won't have a chance in Bolsa to complete with other competitors.... No way . Need to step up the games For the price, I expected way better quality. Definitely not worth it, and I wouldn't order from here again. Not recommended it .

Nicole P.

Yelp
I've been coming here for years. I'm not Thai but have couched by my Thai friends on what to get or try. I would try it all but I have a couple bits type of stomach.

Yelp
Quick service banh mi spot across from Miles Square park. This place is always busy especially during morning and lunch rush. Banh mi are made to order. I like that their bread is fresh and you get a decent amount of meat for each sandwich. Cheaper price compared to Lee's and good amount of options to choose from along with other sides and dishes. Service can be slow as they seem to be a bit under staffed as far as the banh mi prep station goes.

Vi V.

Yelp
They don't ever answer their phone, messed up order all the time. I order PATE CHẢ (pork roll) add eggs sandwich. There isn't pork roll in my sandwich at all.
google avatar

Taylor N.

Yelp
THH is a gift from God. Banh mi, bread and all dishes are consistently delicious and well prepared. I defend THH service. The workers are obviously busy folding 10x as many sandwiches as a subway but with higher proficiency and skill. I recommend going to a Starbucks if you want to chit chat with cashiers & hold up a line... All in all, I have nothing but love and respect for this gem
google avatar

Kelly J.

Yelp
This is my goto place for quick Vietnamese fix. Their chicken sandwiches with fried egg is my favorite, and their fresh rolled spring rolls actually have a strip of spam inside. You have to get at least 1 pound for the noodles but totally worth it. Egg rolls are always fresh here. You can get a bunch of stuff for so cheap. Service here isn't too good since they dont speak English very well. I would go for sandwiches and sides and get it Togo since there are no seating. Ambiance is quick and easy Togo place and it's not too clean.

Yelp
This store sells food that is old and spoiled, as they have it sitting out all day. When you tell them, they deny it. We buy foods and banh mi and many other items here for years. I always have 2 coolers with ice in my car, and my other items from other stores were fine when we get home. However, THH's stir-fried noodles were stinky and sour!!! I bought those noodles before and they were okay, not this time. When I tried to buy 1 order, the girl was begging me to get everything that was left in that tray. So I did buy 2 orders. (Bad idea. Don't trust them!) It turned out, they were trying to sell me their rotten foods. Yeah! The owner got very argumentative when I called to let them know. Claiming that they're not responsible after you left the store. Hello! This is a fast good/to go place. You buy & go. They don't stand behind products that they sell. This is the second time it is happening. Too many deli shops around. Skip this store. I generally spend about $50 weekly there, between this store and their other store in that same parking lot. But won't be back from now on. They are not just selling old, rotten foods. Horrible customer service and unethical.

Tootie Y.

Yelp
Tasty and great Bahn Mi and flat noodle. Totally wham bam, fast service, no warm fuzzies and ao so clean

Yelp
Yummy!!! Love their Vietnamese coffee and sandwiches. Have a lot of options to choose from.

Yelp
TTH is my fav banh mi place in OC. Love ordering their banh mi nem nuong! Also tried their chao long/ca, banh canh Gio heo, mixed egg/clear noodles w veggies, nem cuon, and cafe sua da. All are pretty good! Great place to grab something quick to eat
google avatar

P.3. T.

Yelp
I ordered 3 baguette (special), 2 grilled pork meat. Since they wrap in bánh mì wrappers I can't check one by one . Assume they gave what I ordered When I got home, only one grilled meat the rest is special . That grilled meat I can't even eat , the butter is spoiled , ruined entire bánh mì Other two đặc biệt bánh mì got spoiled too. The quality of the food has gone down . Please keep the food fresh within a day

Yelp
I love going to any of the THH locations their sandwiches and spring rolls are delicious. I'm from San Diego so every time I'm in the area I'll always stop by here before going home to grab a bunch of goodies for myself and family. I love how they have an open window where you can see them preparing your sandwiches. Not to mention I won a giveaway from one of the locations when they 1st opened and they sent me a frozen care package! It was so cool. The reason for 2 stars is only for this location. We asked to use the bathroom and it was FILTHY! Let me tell you FILTHY! No paper towels or toilet paper. I HOPE the workers are not using the same unsanitary bathrooms and preparing our foods afterwards.

John T.

Yelp
Always 10/10. Price and consistency! Get the Vietnamese coffee if you want to ride high for the day!
google avatar

Ga Hing C.

Yelp
Delicious banh mi, very fresh tasting and they are generous with the veggies and meats. Loved the pate on the sandwich. There is a $20 minimum for cards and be mindful that there is a catering location across with the same name.
google avatar

Lenora B.

Yelp
Best Vietnamese sandwiches. Bread isn't too crispy like other places. My favorite is the house sandwich. Their Vietnamese coffee is also tasty.
google avatar

Mikey S.

Yelp
line is long prepare to wait short of staff? hardly any meat in sandwich no buy 2 get 1 free here $6.91 for a sandwich look my meat hardly anything

Yelp
Note that there are TWO THH Sandwiches on Euclid street. This is the one more south and is the inferior one! Stopped by here to grab a couple of banh mi for home. I normally favor the cold cuts (banh mi dac biet, aka house special) which I ordered 3 of as well as the Nem Nuong (pork sausage). The banh mi is alright. I don't think the bread is that great. It does not have the nice crispy crust or airy interior like the typical banh mi. They do not load up the banh mi with enough meat or carrot/daikon to justify the $6.50+ price. Note that the menu's posted on Yelp are back in 2018 so inflation/COVID has done a number on the price. Restaurant is not the cleanest but don't expect to eat here, most people are taking it to go. Minimal seating outside. Service is kinda slow as the banh mi's are made on the spot. There was maybe only 2 people ordering when we came in and lined up and it took about 10-15 minutes. Overall, if you go here, you're coming here for an average banh mi with average service with a slightly pricy cost.
google avatar

Joy C.

Yelp
I've been frequenting this location for the past 16+ years. It's not as pretty and clean as the newer stores but this place is always packed. Their prices are slightly lower than other locations too. Best banh mi in town!
google avatar

Andrea D.

Yelp
If I was only reviewing just their sandwiches or baguette, I would easily give it 5 stars. Their banh mi is honestly one of, if not, the best I've ever had. Can't go wrong with any of them. Even the baguette is really good by itself if you want it for a little snack. Now here's why I docked off one star. Service is almost always a little slow. Not sure if they don't serve in order or they just don't keep track. Whatever it is, it's always a bit frustrating seeing people after you get their order first. On another note, their boba is actually good, very soft & warm. However, a complaint I have is their avocado smoothie. DON'T waste your money. It's pricey to begin with because it's based on the avocado market price, but let me tell you, I highly doubt the avocado is fresh. The smoothie was disgustingly bad. Tasted so obviously artificial and not real avocados. Big ripoff! Other than that... I'm giving an overall good rating because the sandwiches are great.
google avatar

Tiffany P.

Yelp
Soft bread. Inconsistent amount of meat. Decent to good seasoning. Neat to watch staff prepare banh mi.
google avatar

Sheila C.

Yelp
I thought the food I got was decent. I thought the baguette bread to be dry even with all the mayo and pâté spread.
google avatar

Quang T.

Yelp
My go-to spot when it comes to quick banh mi. Oddly enough, I really enjoy their spring rolls (goi coun) and would always get that sometimes over their banh mi. Came on a Sunday afternoon and the line was really long, but they move fast and are efficient with their systems. I love getting their egg rolls too - the only thing is sometimes it's a bit oily. Plenty of parking but does fill up fast.

Viana L.

Yelp
Quick service, good food and fast line! If you want good bánh mi made quickly, this place is it. The ambience was fast paced, the place smelled amazing and there are always people ready to help. They're also great for last minute catering! Got my large order ready in 15 minutes, so cool!

Yelp
Hands down the best sandwich in OC. I used to love going here and Banh Mi Saigon, but seems like Saigon is going downhill. Their sandwich was so nasty that I'm determined to go here after to get my grilled pork sandwich. That's my number one pick. The meatball sandwich is a bit salty. But with the picked daikon and carrots, it blends out perfectly to taste. Secondly, I like their vegetarian stir fry noodles. It has veggies and tofu mixed with glass and egg noodles. Coffee here taste quite strong. It goes well with the sandwich. It's on the sweeter side, but still enough to taste the expresso. I live far from here now. So I would buy their sandwiches and have the veggies on the side. Next day I airfry it and it's still good!
google avatar

Danielle T.

Yelp
This place has always been so tasty! I work by this place and used to go daily . Now I live far and pass by and have to stop through and get sandwich and eggrolls ! So good
google avatar

Charles M.

Yelp
Really yummy Vietnamese sandwiches here! Had the grilled pork and you can't go wrong with it!

Yelp
My go to Vietnamese banh mi place! Food | my favorites are the chicken banh mi and the egg & spam (add patê)! Always ask for the. To add extra vegetables because they are fresh and tasty! $ | you can use credit card but they will charge you a processing fee if it is under a certain price ($20 or something). Otherwise, they prefer cash. Ordering | order ahead because it can get really busy. Language barrier can sometimes be an issue when you want something specific to your order but there are some who speak English. Ambiance | it's not really a sit down place. Better to get it to-go. You'll always find regulars who sit outside just chatting and smoking. You might even find the occasional person opening the doors for everyone in exchange for food. If you're feeling extra giving and happy, buy the guy a sandwich!
google avatar

Nicole T.

Yelp
I'm so upset with this BS packaging! For the amount they charged and their primarily to-go food service they need to invest in more sturdy soup containers! I drove 2 miles to my destination and the $9 udon spilled all over the leather seat of my car. Stank up my whole ass car because the flimsy shit ass lid broke. Get better container!!!
google avatar

Amanda M.

Yelp
Good Bahn MI sandwiches. Jipped on the Vietnamese coffee. Bought 5 sandwiches for 3 people. Recommend getting extra pate. Yummy!

Yelp
A time-capsule of 90s Little Saigon, hope it never changes. We are not Vietnamese but a lot of our good friends growing up were so we got to see a lot of Little Saigon through the years. There are places you can go to for "the best" banh mi, eggrolls, springrolls, etc....but there are few bakery/takeout place that's going to give you the holistic authentic Bolsa experience like this. Before Lee's came and then the younger-gen got into restaurant-ing all the Banh Mi shops used to be like this and I'm pretty sure they'll slowly vanish. Lots of older gen customers in and out constantly. I LOLed when I walked in and saw a huge lotto-scratchers machine and on top of the trashcan there are still people advertising their tax services, so 90s! We got the Banh Mi, Pate Chaud, and Eggrolls. All of them were great for their price and ready to go faster than you can get McDonalds. Much respect to the cashier who doublechecked my order for BBQ pork when I actually wanted the grilled pork. The Banh Mi was great the next day as our lunch for a long drive.
google avatar

Bee B.

Yelp
Ordered 3 types sandwiches on the phone for pickup -- steak (which is basically lemon grass), combo cold cuts, and 2 bbq pork. First time ordering from here because it was on the way. busy parking and not so great drivers. A Tesla almost hit me backing out. You'd think with all the bells and whistles, the driver would be better, but nope. Ok, sorry I digress lol-- back to the Banh mi. I asked them to please separate the veggies because we're taking it on the plane. Got to airport to see they put all veggies into one bag for 4 people-- which at other places I've ordered, they had it separately for each Banh mi. It's a bit unsanitary to share a bag of veggies especially when on the go and we had no utensils. Anyway, overall-- not good and not bad. Definitely not memorable except the bag of veggies.
google avatar

Debbie W.

Yelp
Still our go to place for fried egg rolls which we bring to every thanksgiving. Also ordered their Banh Mi last night and it was not bad. The grilled pork could be more grilled though. The service is fast! I heard their chicken porridge is great so I ordered but haven't tried it yet. The photo is from part of the Banh mi station. Definitely a quick place to grab something for a picnic or party. Location is easy to access, in and out!
google avatar

Andy D.

Yelp
One of my all time favorite Banh Mi places! This place has been my family's "Go To" since I was a kid. Great food, great location, and fair prices. Their Vietnamese coffee, Banh Mi, Pate Chau, and honestly everything is good! I visit and get food here every time I'm in town

Yelp
This store has the RMP display sticker on their door. RMP is (Restaurant Meal Program) people with Snap benefits/EBT who are homeless or can't or don't have a kitchen to prepare a hot meal are able to buy hot foods from restaurants displaying the RMP sticker. Whoever this morning I came ti get some food they said I wasn't able to buy any hot foods but was able to buy cold food. What? I had asked the guy than why do you guys display the sticker? He just kept going on in broken English saying no! No! No! This! This! This! Points to cold food. I walked out. Snap or EBT user stay away from here. It's no! No! No!

Timothy G.

Yelp
This is the In-N-Out of bahn mi. There might be better places in the cut of garden grove or Westminster, but even all my viet friends agree that nothing can fill the craving that you get for THH except for THH. GREAT bread, great fillings, great taste. The first time I had this I ate it three times in a 24 hour period.
