This vegan food is amazing and very authentic tasting. Prices are good too and there are so many options. I live in LA county but next time I am in the area I will definitely come back!

Google
Such great food and the service is amazing very friendly and very fast service and a good amount of food for the price. They also seek a good amount of vegetarian products. I recommend trying even if you eat meat.

As an out of towner, I have to give my flowers to Thien Dang because they have some of the best vegan banh mi I've had for a very competitive price. The shop itself is very small and is very much a 'buy and go' type of establishment. Their menu includes a variety of vegan banh mi using different types of mock meats and house spreads, and they even have a hot deli section where you can create a to-go box of different dishes. I really loved my "Beef Banh Mi" and it was just as good the next day. Full size baguette with vegan spread, all the pickled goodness, and vegan soy meats inside that tasted just like their meat counterpart. Couldn't be happier with us stopping by here to grab a delicious meal. They accept card and digital payments which is nice to see.

Google
They have the BEST VEGAN BÁNH MI in town, maybe ever. Don’t let this their humble appearance fool you. Their vegan selections are ALL DELICIOUS!! Ok I’ll let you indulge now. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Google
Their bbq spring roll is pretty darn good. The bbq is pretty subtle. My partner really liked his chicken teriyaki. You can also buy the vegan meat they use Dont get the shredded meat bag I’m (#1). It’s kind of sawdusty

Google
What a gem! I was craving some vegan Vietnamese food, and ended up getting a Bahn Mi and some spring rolls. Holy smokes - this food was delicious. The Banh Mi was fresh, crispy, and soft. The spring rolls and the peanut sauce were out of this world - savory, herby, and complex. So good! A must stop.

Google
I came to your restaurant with my daughter last week. She'd been there, but it was my first time and I was pretty excited! Really enjoyed what we ordered, yum! And the fact that there are freezers full of vegan faux meats made from plants that I can purchase, to take home and create meals, is FANTASTIC! I have been looking for a place like your restaurant/shop forever, thank you!!!

Google
From the outside it looks super shady. But the food is absolutely delicious in this hole-in-the-wall local fully-vegetarian joint. As you may have gathered from reading our prior reviews — We love Pho! This place has one of the best Pho’s we’ve ever tasted! Huge kudos! The dining area is decent with nice decor for a small place. However (and no fault of the restaurant owners) the area outside is very poorly maintained. Often there are several homeless people loitering and smell of marijuana flooding the parking lot. But once inside, the staff is very friendly. And all the food is prepared with love and care. Best of all, everything is vegetarian. We’re tried several dishes here but their Pho still remains our absolutely favorite! Would highly recommend you try this place out. Also, if you like our reviews in helping you find great vegetarian places across the US, please like or share to help keep them coming :)

Yelp
VEGETARIAN HEAVEN Great fake meat options for the sandwiches. The menu had a lot of other good looking items that I will dream of trying for the future. I got the BBQ chicken and I think it tastes just like the real thing. Wow wow wowza 10000/10 A gem. I would award a Michelin star if I had the power

Yelp
This is, hands-down, the best place to get vegetarian banh mi. Some might say it's even better than other, meat-serving, locations. Even my nearly-carnivorous Dad enjoyed the sandwiches here. Whenever I come down to OC to visit my mom, I make it a point to stop by and get the chicken teriyaki sandwich (#5) and the bun rieu. They also have great veggie pate sold by the can, as well as many veggie meat options. Other fantastic options include their cơm suon bị cha chay and banh mi dac biet. They've added some tables that make the space cramped, but most people only come by to buy to-go anyway. I honestly don't know what I'd do if they ever closed. I'd live there if I could.

Tiffany W.

Yelp
I was working in the area and decided to give this place a try and i was not disappointed! The banh mi was everything i hoped it would be, the bread was flaky and chewy, the vegan ham was soft and sweet, the pickled veggies were crispy and tart. The vegan Thai Iced tea was sweet and creamy. 10/10

Yelp
Lent season has come and I am giving up meat for 40days. I was just in the area to do my taxes and I looked up vegetarian spots. This place popped up as the closest to the office. Had to check it out. Bout two orders each of the #2 & #7. So far the vegan beef is pretty good. I wish the beef prices were marinated longer for intense flavor. The pork one is different. A little to jello like, but flavor wasn't bad. Sugarcane and café sua da drinks are yummy. This is a little hole in a wall spot on brookhurst next to a beauty supply shop.

Cecile W.

Yelp
Off day for them based on the high average reviews. Super slow Sunday, but yet they don't pay attention to the few dine-in customers that they have. There was a solo diner when we arrived and no one in line. The broth in our vegan beef soup was lukewarm from the start, and we had to ask for napkins 2x. I told them that we were sharing 3 entrees so bring an extra bowl, but they forgot and took awhile to bring it out, leading to even more lukewarm-ness. It did take only 10-15 min for our multiple entrees to comer. The spring rolls were ho hum average with very little greens. The combo fried rice was dry, so we picked at the proteins and veggies. The owner manager was more fixated on replenishing his dried inventory than looking over whether we could use anything. The passionfruit drink was refreshing, albeit sugar laden. One dedicated parking space helps during busy strip mall time frames. I can't see myself returning here with so many nearby options. I left a tip nevertheless because I'm not a jenky patron.

Yelp
I've been on a personal mission to find great tasting vegetarian and vegan/plant-based Vietnamese food and I'm super glad I found Thien Dang. I've only ever ordered from them on Grubhub but it's never been disappointing. My husband and I have tried quite a few of their banh mis, and I think their beef is my favorite one! I haven't had real beef in about 4 years now and theirs satisfied my craving - love the lemongrass on it. I also recently got their version of a combination broken rice and I liked it, but didn't love it. The shredded pork had a good texture and taste and so did the spare rib, but the bean curd pie left something to be desired. Also, the daikon and carrots weren't actually pickled which is weird since it's supposed to be Đồ chua. I let them sit in the fish sauce for a while and then added it to my rice and it was alright then. Their bun Bo hue (not pictured) was okay, it wasn't the best but it did the trick. The broth was very oily though and I wish it had more veggies or things in it and a stronger lemongrass flavor. I also wish they had given me extra saté like I requested because that would've definitely helped.

Mona B.

Yelp
Price of bahn mi went up, quality went down.. I slice of cucumber and very hard bread. I got 3 and all were pretty bland. from the case: the lemongrass chicken didn't have hardly any lemongrass flavor and although it's seitan (the only seitan in the case) had the texture of worms. Still not everything has a price tag and I don't want to ask for every little thing to find the best deal and because English is not the first language. Probably not going back... Going to subway

Yelp
The banh mi sold here are LOADED. I was born and raised vegetarian in OC so I have tried every vegan/vegetarian establishment up and down the coast. Usually I am the only vegetarian friend in the group so I'm use to ordering what I call the "pity" selection, the ones they throw on the menu for the rare occasion there are vegetarians in the ordering party, at other sandwich spots (Cali, Lees, etc). Since this is a vegan/vegetarian restaurant their banh mi are the real deal for a reasonable price. I noticed some other reviews mentioning the price increase but if you compare it to what you would get elsewhere, it is a very good deal. The faux meats alone are very pricey in terms of raw cost. Vegans should already know this from their grocery shopping experiences and if you have ever worked in food service you know that margins are extremely low. Speaking of grocery shopping they stock frozen goods here! Brands from all over including the ones imported from Taiwan, a newer one from Vietnam named "Au Lac", plant-based pate from Germany, it's quite a big selection. As far as service, they are a smaller restaurant so it's unrealistic to expect a mom&pop to hire a lot of overhead for the rare instances that they get really busy. They try their best and I actually like that they take their time with each order (the wait isn't that long tbh), the food is consistent every time. Just call in the order if time is of the essence. Of course the restaurant menu items are delicious as well, I just figured I would focus on the banh mi since there aren't many like them around. 10/10 from a lifelong vegetarian

Yelp
My absolute FAVORITE vegan place in California. I come here twice a week :) Toooo good! They have sort of the pick-items-through-the-glass option where it comes with rice and soup + 2 items or more and then they have regular menu items. Combo banh mi is THE BEST! The "pork spare ribs" w rice is amazing. Everything is so tasty. Always the same workers inside as well so probably safe to assume this is family oriented. They sell vegan groceries here as well.

Pau S.

Yelp
My family and I have been coming to this place for years! I love the quality, and everything is soo fresh. I get the Vegan Combination Banh Mi, and their Vietnamese coffee. The coffee is so good! I get all jittery though. My family has pretty much tried every thing on their menu like the Spring Rolls, Vegan Egg Roll (we get these in trays of 40) and the Vegan Combination Fried Rice. They're all delicious and very good quality. The family working are so sweet as well. The seating is limited by everything is so nice and clean. I highly recommend this place, it's more than exceptional!

Kate L.

Yelp
I enjoyed their lotus salad, but the star was the tuna banh mi. Wow! The flavours reminded me of a regular tuna salad sandwich, but it was vegan as with everything in this establishment. It was actually the best banh mi I had on this trip. Not a place to go dine at as there were limited seatings. It's more of a takeout place. We did not enjoy the wonton noodle soup. Veggies were overcooked. I would be back for the tuna banh mi and lotus salad.

Kim L.

Yelp
Good YUMMIEST vegans delicious foods .. Only downside is the place Closed time 2toooo *EARLY...!!!

Cuong N.

Yelp
We was in the store to buy our foods, we had the chance to meet all people who worked there inclined the lady owner and family and employees who was nicely trained with very good customer service. It's nice to have that veggie foods stores in town. We will return for more

Yelp
Vegan Vietnamese shop that specializes in banh mi and homestyle dishes. They also sell dried and refrigerated vegan items here. One of the items I usually order is the banh mi dat biet which is their special combination sandwich where you can mix and match 3 different types of meat. I chose bbq chicken, tuna and shredded meat. The banh mi was flavorful, savory and tasty. I love the creaminess of the vegan mayonnaise and the fresh, crisp veggies that they use. The bread that they use here is always fresh and crispy. I have also tried the teriyaki chicken banh mi which was average. I've had many different types of vegan meats however, the meat from this particular sandwich didn't stand out. The chicken doesn't have a shredded texture which I think would've improved the taste. The texture was more like mushroom and the flavor was on the overly salty end. Customer service here is good and the employees are nice. The parking lot is small however, there is always a good amount of parking since that plaza isn't too busy. Overall, I recommend coming here for their delicious and quality vegan banh mi sandwiches.

Yelp
Everything was super tasty, but this restaurant has one issue that made me feel unsafe. I went there for lunch on a Monday with my friend. There was a staff member cleaning up. At first, I didn't pay much attention to what he was saying until I started hearing some weird stuff. He was like those strangers you see all over school, trying to get people to join his religion, coaxing them to donate and follow whatever he says. I was really angry because strangers keep bothering me at school, and now I run into the same kind of people even when I'm out for lunch? Come on, religion should be about freedom and choice. Just focus on your job and stop spouting nonsense. No legitimate religion spreads its message that way. Everyone, please stay alert to people like that.

Yelp
We found this great vegan Banh Mi sandwich cafe and market thanks to Yelp. I've been hella craving a Banh Mi BBQ sandwich ever since the 7 Vegan Market in Orange introduced it but stopped selling it due to their new next door neighbor, Vegan Subs. Footlong sandwiches at a very reasonable price are made when you order. The #5 (Vegan Teriyaki Chicken) & #6 (Vegan BBQ Chicken) are our favorites. We always get two of each...save one for later. Refrigerated drinks and made-to-order coffee or tea are available. Plenty of tables inside. They also have a to-go food buffet which they recently added the dish names. Can't wait to try the vegan fish dish. A ton of vegan meat substitutes and vegan seasonings that they have also finally added pricing. Employees are polite. They accept cash or credit card. Order catering in person; I don't think anyone checks their website order/messages.

Christine N.

Yelp
I was craving Vietnamese banh mi flavors, and this place popped up on my Yelp feed. It was the first ever find for vegetarian/vegan options for banh mi, and it did not disappoint! They also sell items that you can just pick up and take home to add to your meals, kind of reminds me of a mini grocery. Wish there were more non egg AND no tofu options. Will definitely be back to inquire and try other options!

Wendy P.

Yelp
The BBQ chicken banh mi was tasty and the sugarcane water even more delicious. The man who took my order wasn't very friendly.

Jamie M.

Yelp
The staff is welcoming & friendly upon entering the shop! They're so sweet. They have tons of parking. It's very easy to get in & out of this place. They sell a various amount of frozen vegan meat and vegan jerky and even vegan pork floss. It's a vegan/vegetarian's dream if you like to cook at home like me lol. I got the vegan bbq chicken sandwich. It was my first time here. Not sure if this is the norm, but the meat wasn't cold or hot. It was room temp like it had been sitting out. I wish it was hot and fresh or even charred, but it's alright because it was still very filling and tasty. I only ate half the sandwich, and I was very full. As far as the bread, it is very soft... It kind of crumpled up, flaked everywhere, and completely broke apart while I was eating it, but I think maybe that's just how vegan bread is.

Anna T.

Yelp
The absolute best banh mi I've ever eaten. Vegan or not! Delicious, fresh and affordable!

Fionna L.

Yelp
FANTASTIC!! If it's your first time, remember to check in for 5% off your order! Service was friendly and my banh mi was ready in 3 minutes which gave me time to browse their great selection of vegan meats (mostly those used in Asian cuisines as well as big brands like Beyond). - Banh Mi Bo Chay (Vegan beef): $5: the 'beef' taste was spot on and wonderfully savory. It was just salty enough to complement the pickled carrot and daikon; the only thing was that its purple color was a little too vivid. Cilantro and cucumber were very fresh. The bread was extremely crunchy yet soft on the inside, slightly past peak freshness and without much toasted flavor but still a good base for the mayo and fillings. Overall a very yummy and big portion with the right amount of moisture and balanced textures. I think what sets Thien Dang apart is the quality and freshness of their ingredients, as well as some of the best prices in the area. They've become my family's go-to banh mi place and may very well become yours too!

Gia F.

Yelp
Love this place it's such an affordable vegan option everytime I've been here the the employees were helpful and patient. It's a small shop with a lot of vegan freezer food, from shrimp, to chicken, even eggs ! They also carry vegan fish sauce and jerky it's super cool and convenient. I get the #4 bahn mi (meatloaf) it's $8 and it's basically a whole baguette to your self super big, you definitely get a bang for your buck. I would recommend this place to anyone who's interested in authentic Vietnamese vegan food 10/10.

Angie M.

Yelp
I came here when I wanted to get vegan bánh mì after an appointment because I was in the area... I ended up also getting a steamed bun and a vegan bun hue. I'm 99% sure my roommate went to pick up an order for takeout from here before, but my gosh! The portion sizes are huge. Once I got home, I realize my $5.50 sandwich was definitely worth it especially considering how I thought it was overpriced initially. The noodle soup I heated up for dinner and it filled up two bowls for me!! The restaurant itself also has a bunch of grocery and frozen items that you can purchase. Service is also very sweet! Highly recommend

Trang L.

Yelp
Their bún Huế is good. Service is fast and nice. Many options on the menu . The facility has some leaking and mold all over on the ceiling . Just not feel safe to eat in a restaurant like that.

Delilah S.

Yelp
these vegan banh mi sandwiches were delicious and hit the spot! we ordered 1 vegan teriyaki chicken banh mi and 1 bbq chicken banh mi as well as an iced thai tea. they were totally worth the price as the sandwiches were bigger than we expected. the veggies were crispy and fresh. the jalapeño was spicy and the vegenaise was buttery & creamy. the thai tea was strong yet smokey. overall, worth a try! very easy to eat while on the road.

Yelp
What to do when one is asked to eat vegetarian meals!?! For me, salads are great.. with chicken, eggs, etc.! Yelp to the rescue I located this small business, Thien Dang Vegetarian. I've been here twice, yesterday and again today. The entrees are veggies for sure, however, the taste is similar to its meat counterparts! For example, bitter melon stuffed with ground pork, well the veggie version is just as good, stuffed with tofu and/or bean curd (I could be wrong!). Their "thit kho" with lemongrass and a lil chili gave it a nice tasty kick! First time there, I got the rice with 3 entrees, was way too much food for about $11. Today, I cut back and just got rice and 2 items, around $8. I still have leftovers! I'll definitely come back to try other meal options! They also have noodles, soups that you can eat there! And, afterwards I do not feel sleepy, sluggish from MSG (I didn't feel it..)

Lyna S.

Yelp
Love to come back here for more vegan foods. Their meat balls sandwich, vegan snail cha are my favorite. The staffs are friendly.

Ruby O.

Yelp
Love their vegan Bahn mis! First off, not easy to find vegan Bahn mis, much less find a place with so many choices! Tried 3 of them and so far the teriyaki is our favorite! Luckily they are enroute to the beach so we pick up a couple and eat them there. Great way to spend the day!

Liza M.

Yelp
Stuffed tofu Banh mi SO GOOD I wish I lived closer to here so I could get this more often but the sauce, the flavor, and everything was so good and so satisfying!

Skyelar N.

Yelp
VEGAN REVIEWER! Honestly the food is soo good! I've been here twice and both times was really great. So it seems that their entire menu is vegan although they do sell vegetarian faux products and meats in their refrigerated section and their snacks. They provide indoor dining as well as Togo food! I have ordered the Bun Rieu in dining and it was so delicious, the faux crab meat made me nostalgic. The prices are very affordable as well, I definitely would introduce non-vegans to this establishment!

Michele M.

Yelp
Love this place! They have so many authentic Vietnamese menu items that I missed having before I went vegan but now I can enjoy them here! Delicious selection of dishes like banh mis, soups, and spring rolls. Plus I love to stock up on the vegan frozen and pantry items here, I love their hot food bar because it's food my Vietnamese family made while growing up so it's super satisfying.

Jodie O.

Yelp
I absolutely love this place. Been here multiple times. The people that work here so super nice! Some don't speak English well but they try their best! The food here is always amazing and for such a great price. I don't have a picture as of right now but the fish and chicken fried rice is a must try y'all!! Huge portion for the price! It comes w a side of soup too. The sandwiches honestly have never disappointed me I've tried about half of the sandwiches on their menu. The jalapeños are always nice and spicy too which is like my favorite part of banh mi's :)

Abbie N.

Yelp
I ordered takeout, bun rieu, bun hue and egg rolls. I really liked the bun rieu and bun hue but I wish both were spicier. The egg rolls came with lettuce but it looked a little old so I didn't eat the lettuce. The egg rolls were good. Can't wait to come back and try their banh mi

John T.

Yelp
Ordered the Banh Mi Dac Biet - So bomb! That mayo spread they have is the highlight! Their sandwich is very decently sized and has a hefty weight to it. I can get down on AYCE and eat my heart out but this sandwich over here got me feeling full at only half way. I'll be back to try out their other menu options even though I'm still mainly a carnivore ..

Khoi N.

Yelp
Located in a small plaza on Brookhurst. There is usually parking. This street does get pretty busy at times, so watch out for that. Cool little restaurant that specializes in vegetarian banh mi. Tried the banh mi bi, teriyaki chicken, and dac biet. They were all so delicious! And the size is more than decent. The bread is crispy, but not hard and rough to rip up the roof of your mouth. All the vegetarian "meats" inside the sandwiches were all tasty. Definitely gives regular banh mi a run for its money. Food comes out in a timely manner and service is good. There are a few tables inside to eat and one table outside. More of a to go place for food. Definitely a new go to place for a quick and easy lunch!

Quinn Q.

Yelp
10/10. I'm so grateful to be able to have Vietnamese vegan & vegetarian food options! This place is small but cute. Parking is easy to find but the lot is tight so don't bring your minivan. Service is incredible. The lady who helped me was kind and the kitchen staff prepared my meal nicely and packaged it ready to go. I kept reading reviews about how "fresh" the ingredients were and I didn't truly understand until I had my first bite! I felt like I was easing something picked fresh from the garden. I ordered the #5 chicken teriyaki Bahn Mi and pho ga noodle soup. All I'll say is I felt like I was back in the streets of Hanoi. SO good. Actually, other than the one Bahn mi I had in Hoi Ann, this Bahn one was the best I've ever had in my life and especially in the states! Definitely recommend for veggie and non veggies eaters! I live in Orange but will happily make the drive and plan on being a regular here! cảm ơn bạn vì những món ăn ngon

Bri R.

Yelp
I really enjoyed the food here! They have a really good vegan bahn mi. My first bite into the bahn mi I yelled over to my wife are you sure this is vegan?! I was so surprised because it was so tasty. The bahn mi had the perfect amount of filling. There was a good amount of "meat" and veggies in the sandwich. The bread was perfectly crispy on the outside and fluffy inside. The veggies were nicely pickled and had just enough crunch. It was overall a very tasty and filling and a great price! The bahn mi were prepared quickly so the wait wasn't long at all. They also sell different vegan meats like bacon, next time maybe I'll pick up some. I can't wait to come back here and try the other foods on the menu but I don't think I'll be able to resist that bbq chicken bahn mi.

Quynh N.

Yelp
This is now one of my favorite places in LA whenever we visit CA. It makes the best vegan pork roll that I have ever had. We have not eaten the foods here but you could get a lot of vegan dry and frozen stuff from Thien Dang. Just found out that you can also get them shipped to NJ too. Will definitely try this option soon. The owner and staff are very friendly and helpful.

Amy W.

Yelp
Very good sandwiches at a good price. Large portions . They have a nice little frozen section with interesting vegan meats. I will be back.

Amit C.

Yelp
This is honestly one of my favorite vegan Vietnamese spots, mainly because this is mom and pop shop with great value, top notch taste, and is fast! I still need to try more dishes, because the ones I had chosen were so good that I've kept getting them. Here are some of my favorites: 3 item combo: If you get it for here, it comes with a small salad as well and spicy soy sauce. I have to get their vegan "egg" which is made from bean curd sheets. I've also gotten their sour soup and bitter melon soup which are all very good. The bitter melon soup is not mild in the bitter taste, but for those who like bitter melon it's great. They have a spicy chicken and veggie pork which are all good choices as well. Besides they veggie meats, they have eggplant and greens. Noodles soups are hot and fresh. They give a hearty portion of the raw veggies (bean sprouts, basil, cabbage) to add to the soups. They have a good amount of vegetables and veggie meats as well in them. They definitely do not skimp out on the ingredients. Their spring rolls are also delicious especially the nem nuong or pork spring rolls. I must say one of their hallmarks is their sandwiches. Most places have the standard "pork"/fried tofu shreds or just tofu. They have veggie beef, chicken, tuna, or combo. They also have the pork shreds as well. They have a freezer stock full of different vegan meats, and they are conscious for the Buddhists that don't eat garlic or onion. On request, they will omit those. I could go on and on, but in short, the service is courteous and fast, the food is delicious, it's a mini market for frozen/pantry goods, and it's a great value. The combo and dishes are around 7.50-8.

Mark F.

Yelp
Really enjoyed the vegan banh mi here. We got the combo banh mi where you can choose up to 3 "meats". I went with the "pork", "beef", and "BBQ chicken". They all provide a chewy texture similar to actual meat and the flavors are close to what actual meat tastes like. The bread held up well with the ingredients and was soft but had a little crunch which was a nice textural contrast. The fillings like pickled daikon and carrots were spot on. Would've liked a few more jalapenos but all in all, a good sandwich. Also tried the vegan egg rolls which were pretty good as well although not as flavorful. The one downside is there isn't a way to order online so I recommend calling your order. I didn't love waiting in a store while air was just circulating via the air conditioner. Also, they're selling a lot of their ingredients wholesale so hopefully they're not going out of business. If you're vegan or vegetarian but want some Vietnamese food, highly recommend!

Yelp
Considering this is a hole-in-the-wall kind of restaurant, it's pretty good. What we had: 1. Tofu fresh roll (good) 2. Shredded meat roll (not good, tough and chewy like tendon) 3. Ham roll (very good) 4. Vegan beef vermicelli (big and delicious!) They sell vegetarian and vegan meats/proteins in the refrigerated cases, so you can take some home to cook! The ladies helping us were really sweet and helpful. Free parking in the shared lot.

Yelp
Vegan food, sandwiches and supplies to make your own. It's a good spot! They have mushroom broth and incense too.

Yelp
Horrible experience, ordered and paid for catering food to be Pick up at 9 AM. Went to pick up at 9, there were nothing to pick up. The owner who took the order AND money never placed the order with the kitchen and we were told to wait an hour. Would never order here again.

Yelp
I've never had such an underwhelming experience with Vietnamese food, especially in the OC! I tried to be adventurous and steer away from my favorite pho place, and saw this on yelp. It had 4.5 stars, and it looked like a mom and pop shop, so I said why not. There's.... plenty of reasons. So I go in, and bless I love the mom and pop shops because literally the mom comes out to greet me. I ordered 3 piece egg roll, and a combo of vegan char siu and vegan egg quiche (see pictures), and ice coffee. I paid $16.86. Egg rolls: maybe it's the yam or taro inside, but it had an off taste, something was not fresh in it. Also, it was soaking with oil because it was undercooked. C The meal: that was not good. Not good. There are no words with how much I felt robbed off my 9 bucks. I swear. 3 tiny pieces of small gluten, and a dry egg replacement, and 3 cups of rice with some veggies to top it off... it was salty but lacked flavor. The vegan char siu was tough! It was so tough! Not the gluten that I remember eating when I was a kid. D The coffee: I asked mom about this. I asked her if it was strong, she said yes but she lied to me. It was like the asian white coffee packets you get an asian market. F Lastly, I waited 20 minutes for this meal and I was the first one (besides the party already going at their meal) being served. Oh man I'm done.

Yelp
Service was soo slow even a couple came in then left because no one was serving them. Even the food was slow too. We came here at 1:15pm on a Monday, trying to find something quick to eat. There was only 2 family and 1 couple sitting. We continued waiting and finally ordered: bi cuon, banh mi ga, (2) bun bo hue, com chien thap cam. After ordering: 10 mins... bi cuon ($3.25) - the shredded 'pork' was good, but on the saltier side 5 mins later... com chien thap cam ($7.5) 10 mins later bo bo hue ($7.5) - it was okay. The broth wasn't as flavorful as I anticipated. Lots of tofu and vegan meat. I like Nhan Duc Hanh's bun bo hue better. when we're about to leave... banh mi ga ($4.5) - it was good but the vegan chicken was a little salty never came out... 2 sugar canes which ever came out. Didn't leave unitl 2:30pm and passed out from thirst. No water given during our meal :o
