Thien Thanh Boutique Hotel

We had high expectations booking a boutique hotel. The reviews on booking.com seemed promising but once arrived it was a little disappointing for the price. Mold on the walls next to the bathtub, dirty bathroom and lots of dust on the floor. The water pressure in the bathroom was bad. Partly no hot water in the shower. We booked another hotel for the rest of our stay in Hoi An and are super happy. The price was half, the staff were awesome and the room was incredible. All in contrast to this hotel. We pointed out our unhappiness to the manager through WhatsApp. Passing by the reception several times the staff didn’t approach us once. Disappointing customer experience. You can find better places for cheaper money.

The room was filthy!! The TV in our room didn't work, and upon arriving there were hairballs and sand on the floor, crumbs and rubbish that had been swept under the bed and hair in the bath and basin. The shower and bathroom smelt of mould due to the mould on the ceiling and the cleaning lady refused to give us toilet paper as "she already gave us some" when there was none in our room. When we explained this to her, she rolled her eyes and passed us one. The showers were ice cold and the water wouldn't turn on at all at some points. One morning we were woken up by construction directly overhead without being notified beforehand. This being said, the pool and location is great, and cece at the front desk was so helpful and accommodating. Other than that, the cleanliness was astonishing and the service from the cleaning ladies was just upsetting. Highly recommend finding somewhere else to stay for the same price.

Never again! We booked a day tour with the hotel rdception that cost 1,000,000 VND almost $40 per person, what a wastd of money that was! The worst tour I have ever had! We were told : It will start at 3pm and end at 7:30 it will be a private tour There will be lots of food First it was delayed to 3:30. We started the tour at 3:35pm. We met with othef 8,9 people and started walking. I was soo hungry by 4:30 anx ssked about food, the guide said we will havd dinner arojnd 6pm. We walked walked walked. Basicslly just exploring the streets and dome old houses nothing special. Again it was not a private tour as were told about 10 people We finished the walking around 7:30 by the time I was starving!!! We had the Bahn Mi the bread and some meat. Then we walked 15 mins to another place to have noodle. Then another place for chicken it was closed, then to coconut ice cream place. It was 8:45 we ended the tour. The worst tour ever!!!!

Nice hotel at walking distance of the old center. The staff is super nice and helpful. They let us taking a shower before our taking our bus, even after checking out in the morning.

Absolutely do not book this hotel. We chose this hotel mostly because the pictures looked cute on Booking.com. The rooms looked spacious and we booked one with a balcony which looked nice. We arrived and the hotel manager asked us to pay upfront - the first red flag I ignored. We got to our room and it was much smaller than the photos made it look. Not even enough space for both of us to have spots to leave our suitcases open. Then, here comes the worst part - we looked at the sheets on the bed and there were BUGS and STAINS on them. The bathroom also looked as if it had not been cleaned. We asked to be moved to a new room - the manager showed us another one but it didnt have a balcony and the bathroom was also dirty in that one. At that point we said we would go get lunch while the room was cleaned up but while at lunch we decided we couldn’t stay there and found another hotel with availability. We wrote to the manager and asked if we could get a refund - when we got back he asked if we would accept the refund in cash (instead of back on credit card )and we said we were okay with that. He told us to wait 5 minutes for the hotel owner (Binh) to come - after waiting 15+ minutes he let us know that she wouldn’t give us a refund after all. The manager seemed nice and like he was trying his best, he called the owner twice and she hung up on him and refused to come speak to us. Very disappointed.

I strongly recommend this hotel located near from the Old Town of Hoi An (10min by walking) and of the beach (7min via motorbike). I was there for holidays with my sister and it was a pleasure! They free-upgraded us and provided an early check-in on the first day. All staff was very kind and truly listening to us. They wanted to offer us the best experience as possible. They let us enjoy of the swimming pool until our departure in the late afternoon, which was convenient. Thank you so much!

Beautiful hotel located just far enough out of town that it’s a bit quieter but an easy 10 minute walk in! The staff here were incredible and made us feel so welcome. The room was beautiful with a nice big balcony and great shower. The included breakfast was great & the pool was by far our favorite part!!! The staff even helped us choose where to eat lunch / dinner (all recommendations were amazing!)
