Thingvellir National Park is a true natural wonder and a total paradise for photographers! We spent 3–4 hours exploring, but honestly, we should have dedicated a full day just to soak in the incredible scenery. Right at the entrance, there is a stunning observation deck that offers breathtaking panoramic views of the lakes and the rugged park landscape.
The infrastructure here is excellent; the walkways are perfectly leveled and the use of wooden planks makes it an easy, accessible stroll for everyone. Whether you are there for the geology, the history, or the photos, it is an absolute must-see. Don't rush your visit like we did—give yourself plenty of time to enjoy this Icelandic gem!
