Celebrated my birthday here. It was the perfect ambiance and mood for celebrating. Our waitress was the best and so friendly. The food was delicious. The roasted chicken and the filet. The strawberry shortcake was to die for. So fresh and full of flavor.

Made a reservation for a party of 12 (Saturday 5:45pm with a hard out by 7:30pm for the next party), had a great time overall! Valet parking right next to the restaurant was nice and allowed us not to worry about finding parking in the area. Food and service were solid. Restaurant vibes are nice. The fish sandwich was delicious.

Have now been for both dinner and brunch, both experiences were great with brunch being my favorite. Commonly owned with Northstar and Brassica, the food is fantastic as expected. The dinner menu doesn’t differ as much as I’d like from Northstar, but brunch is worth the trip. I loved the jazz and laidback but upscale vibes.

Google
Took my wife here for our anniversary and it was great! The happy hour had a decent discount, but the complimentary biscuits were the reason to get excited. Drinks were balanced and tasted good. Dinner and apps were great, as you’d expect from a Cameron Mitchell joint. Star of the show was our server Ben F! Took great care of us and really kept up with us and made it a great anniversary dinner. Will be coming back.

Had some issues ordering my food last week and Alisha Humphrey was incredibly helpful in resolving my issues. This is one of my favorite restaurants at town. I really recommend the Mexican salad and the elote corn. I'd like to thank Alisha for being so prompt and kind. She came to our table this evening to introduce herself and make sure we were well taken care of. I'd still rate this one of the best restaurants in the city. 💕

My boyfriend and I were visiting from Michigan and Third & Hollywood was highly recommended. We went yesterday during lunch and we loved the food. The service was great . Everyone was so nice and welcoming. If we are ever in the area again we will definitely be back 🙂

Google
Went to an impromptu dinner with my boyfriend on Friday night. They do offer valet at a reasonable price, which we did take advantage of. We did not have reservations and did arrive about a hour before close and were immediately sat. The restaurant was still quite busy even close to closing time. We ordered the steak salad and the ribs. My salad was delicious. The steak was cooked excellently, the dressing was yummy, and their croutons were made in-house. The salad itself was also very big. His ribs did fall off the bone and the meat was good, but we felt the amount of meat on the ribs was skimpy for the price. I did read a couple reviews about some parties receiving a chocolate chip cookie presented with the check, which we did not receive. Overall, it's a nice restaurant with a pleasant and intimate ambiance. It's right off Grandview Ave, still easy to access but felt away from the hustle and bustle.

Google
A popular restaurant bustling at prime time. If money is not an object, this is a nice local place with excellent service. The menu is small, but there is a nice array of options to appeal to different tastes. There is a covered outdoor seating area, which we liked. We did not order dessert, but received a couple of complimentary small warm chocolate chip cookies at the end of our meal, which were delicious and just perfect to top the dinner. We enjoyed our visit and recommend. If we return we’ll save it for a special occasion due to the price.

Yelp
We stopped by Third and Hollywood for happy hour before meeting friends out for dinner and my oh my were we impressed. The inside is intimate with a lavish ambience. Happy hour runs from 4:30-6:00pm Mon-Fri and boasts $3 off all drinks and appetizers, and complimentary cheddar herb biscuits. We showed up a little after 4:30 were able to grab two seats at the bar, although it was already pretty full. We tried their two NA cocktails, Blackberry Spritz and Sweet Strawberry Espresso. The strawberry espresso was delicious and I never would have imagined that coffee and strawberry flavors would tie so well together. Then out came the cheddar herb biscuits and holy moly were they good. They are cooked and served in a cast-iron skillet and come with a side of pimento cheese. Major yum. After our 5/5 experience for happy hour, we are looking forward to coming back for dinner.

Yelp
Our dinner at Third & Hollywood for the first time! We love the biscuit! The complimentary at the very beginning. Also my smoked salmon, the dish was big, I couldn't finish my salad. My husband got the bbq. After meal I also get the chocolate mousse with the salted whipped cream (for to go) it was great too! At the end, they also gave us chocolate chip cookies! Third & Hollywood was a nice and cozy restaurant, the little things they did was very cute

Yelp
Outstanding dinner! This was probably one of the best dining experiences we have had in the few months we have been staying in Ohio. We have been pleasantly surprised with how good the food has been around the Columbus area! This place is now at the very top of our favorites list! (Tip: make sure to make reservations. It is a smaller restaurant, and you will need to valet your car since there is basically no parking.) We didn't know you needed to make reservations since this was our first time here, but thankfully there was a little area in the bar that we were able to get full service. We both ordered the house made ginger ale, and let me tell you: it was the best ginger ale I have had in my entire life. I wish they bottled it! It was sooo good, that I ordered a second! We started with the biscuits and grilled artichoke. Both were amazing, and we would order them again. We decided to share entrees and got the Walleye and the Burger. The Walleye was phenomenal. I would order that again and again. The slaw that came with it was also very tasty. The burger was ok. It wasn't anything special as far as burgers go. It was good, just not as great as the Walleye. We decided to share a dessert, and got the pot de creme. It was so rich a decadent, and we loved the added sea salt. What a great way to finish the meal! We will come back again for sure. It truly was such great food! Service was kind of slow, but we were in no hurry and enjoyed the leisurely pace. Everyone we encountered was very friendly and professional, so no complaints there!

Yelp
It had been a minute since we had been to Third and Hollywood. Decided to try it on a Thursday night before a show downtown. We arrived at 5:15 to a packed bar (Happy Hour) but plenty of other tables to sit for dinner. A surprise off the back- Happy Hour is the entire restaurant. The server was kind enough to remind us so we straight away ordered drinks and an appetizer. Forgot the picture but the pimento cheese and chips is delicious- and gluten free! The four of us each ordered something different and everything was delicious. Our friend ordered the strip steak special and said it might have been one of the best steaks he's eaten in Columbus I had the veggie plate and I've been thinking about it ever since. The delicious, fruit and nutty rice- the toasted brussels sprouts, arugula salad with goat cheese and steamed broccoli...on my goodness...it was outstanding!! The atmosphere was perfect for the night we were there. The inside is dark yet cozy, good lighting at the tables. It was chilly and rainy outside so they had the fire going. It was absolutely perfect inside.

Yelp
Fun place for a date night conveniently located in Grandview. There is valet but also a parking lot or street parking. Depending when you come, it can be pretty crowded. It's definitely vibey inside in the classic sense, which I like! Sometimes simple is best. Love their artwork. Service was amazing too, super helpful and quick. We got the Caesar salad and added chicken. It was ok! I had expected a little more savory flavor, but wasn't bad! Wouldn't say it's the best Caesar in Columbus but I'd get it again. What would get me coming back for more is their grilled artichoke FOR SURE so make sure to get that. Also, their cheddar biscuits are to die for. I'd come back just for those two things!
google avatar

Yelp
This is my favorite Caesar salad in Columbus. I added chicken and avocado. Very fresh gem lettuce and large enough for a meal. They also made me a great Negroni with a chilled glass. Respectable wine list. Nice place to sit at the bar. Some of the entrees are hit or miss but I get what I know I will enjoy.

Yelp
We recently ate here after my sister and now brother in law were married downtown with a large group and it was fantastic! We had a bunch of appetizers to start and I particularly loved the biscuits and cheese pimento dip. Everyone was raving about the artichokes but to be honest I was not a fan. I perhaps wasn't eating them correctly? Idk I also had the trout and they gave us complementary desserts to go and the salted chocolate one is so good! Service was awesome too!

Yelp
I've been hearing about how awesome Third and Hollywood is for years now and after seeing they made Yelp's Top 100 Most Romantic Restaurants for 2024, I knew I had to give them a visit. My birthday is the day before Valentine's Day so while I wasn't there for a romantic evening, it still made for a beautiful backdrop to celebrate my special day. I was able to easily book a table directly off of their Yelp page and I really appreciated the text/email reminders leading up to my reservation. When my friend and I arrived, valet was the best route to go in terms of parking because parking is pretty limited in this area of Grandview. When we walked in, our table was ready for us and the staff was eager to greet us... even with it being a very busy evening due to Valentine's Day. Our booth was cozy as was the entire restaurant. The lighting was dim, the bar was sleek with stone and slate accents, there was a wall of wine bottles, and light music playing. It was really no surprise that Yelpers describe the restaurant as romantic. As for the menu, it is on the pricier side but nothing too crazy - great for a special occasion dinner. We ordered some of the iron skillet cheddar herb biscuits which I heard must not be missed. They were indeed divine and a great snack to munch on while we sipped over cocktails. I ordered an espresso martini and it was perfect! As for my entree, I was craving for a caesar salad and some fries. Basic I know. But it was my birthday so I went with it. The fries were just fries but the caesar salad definitely hit the spot. Maybe next time I'll order a real entree because I have no doubt I'll be back. I'll wrap this up by sharing that the customer service was outstanding. They over heard it was my birthday and they brought me a dessert to celebrate. I mentioned seeing them on the Yelp list and our server was beaming with pride, as he should have. That's an amazing accomplishment and their entire staff made it happen. Congrats and I'll see you again soon!

Yelp
I have been to Third and Hollywood multiple times and I can say with completely certainty this spot is the epitome of class. The restaurant is a combination of comfort and classy with immaculate vibes. The staff always provide superior service and all around is a great place for a date night or nicer dinner with friends and family. The food is so delicious and I have always enjoyed everything I've ordered. It's a little on the pricey end but absolutely worth it!

Yelp
Food - delicious! Ambiance - cute, would be great for a date Service - nice. Nothing extraordinary. Note: It gets SO busy, so be sure to plan ahead and make a reservation. You can eat at the bar which is nice, but it can feel kinda tight when the place is crowded.

Yelp
Wow, absolutely amazing experience here!Came in for brunch a few weeks back on a Sunday morning and there was a live jazz band. I had a bloody Mary to go with my breakfast, which was extremely well mixed. Our server was extremely friendly, and our food came out quickly. Can't wait to come back! Strongly recommend the BLT.

Barry M.

Yelp
Prime Rib eye is incredible along with the service and cozy atmosphere. Actually, all the food was lights out.

Steph S.

Yelp
Mexicali steak salad was very good but VERY little steak (probably around 6 small cubes). For $26, I expected more steak. They also mix the pieces of steak throughout the salad to try and hide how much they actually give you in my opinion. Service was extremely slow, rarely came to the table and we were out of water for most of the dinner. This place was highly recommended so definitely disappointed for my first time dining here.

Yelp
We love Third and Hollywood! It's our go to spot for a special occasion date night! This time we celebrated my husband's birthday (although I didn't tell the waiter, I think they usually give a dessert for birthdays). It's always great and even though there aren't a lot of vegetarian options. We had the cheddar biscuits (a MUST) the vegetable grill and the black bean burger. So yummy! The service is also always great and the meal Always concludes with these amazing chocolate chip cookies.

Yelp
Great, cozy atmosphere. Our server was awesome. The fish sandwich was EXCELLENT!!: Biscuits with pimento cheese was delicious. Great date place and the patio looks very nice as well.

Yelp
I've been to Third and Hollywood many times over the years and it is tried and true. I always come here for a special event, a business dinner or a birthday because the quality of the food is reliable and the service is generally great. The ambiance is also comfortable, it's not pretentious but still nice and upbeat. The restaurant offers valet parking for $5, definitely use this as it can be a pain to find parking in the area! Tonight we started with the cheddar biscuits- a must! These are sometimes free or discounted during happy hour and they are incredible (but everything here is really good), I usually only get an order of 3 ($5) to save room for other things! We also got a house made ginger ale (very good with a nice amount of ginger) an aerol spritz and a brut champagne with dinner. Alcohol is roughly $12 a glass, the ginger ale was $5. The Little Gem Caesar ($14) is incredible, dressed perfectly with big chunky croutons which are to die for! For mains I often get the chicken ($34), it is always juicy and it's served with croutons (just as delicious as with the Caesar salad) and arugula and the bitterness really balances out the dish. My dining partner got the Hanger Streak ($47) which has a delicious marinated and a tasty bean/corn dip on the side. For dessert they always give complimentary small cookies. I always look forward to these. They are a little salty but so good and just a small bite. We also ordered the pot de crème ($12) which was silky, smooth and a little salty too- really well balanced especially with the homemade whip crème! Overall an incredible meal, will definitely return again and again.

Yelp
I love this restaurant. It never disappoints! Excellent service, wine list and the food selections include several classics that have been on their menu for years. One in particular is the Walleye. It is the best Walleye I have ever eaten! I cannot begin to tell you how good it is.I would love to see this concept expand since this is the best restaurant group in Columbus. Yes, it is..
google avatar

Donald M.

Yelp
Food and service is very good . Nice atmosphere and vibe . Up beat . I had the tuna and it was excellent. My guest had the hanger steak and he enjoyed it .
google avatar

Bree M.

Yelp
Excellent ambiance and great selection of dishes that can please the most diverse of crowds - including options for vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free diners. Can't recommend the artichoke appetizer enough! I also had the house-made corn and black bean burger (pictured) while husband chose the beef burger. Everything was delicious and service was artfully paced. Minus one star for a confusing check in experience. We had a reservation and checked in on time, but something went wrong and we waited 20+ minutes while all other waiting parties were being sat. This probably would have been longer but we checked in with the host who confirmed there had been a mistake. Points for honesty and for addressing the problem promptly.
google avatar

John B.

Yelp
Parking is horrible. Food is okay nothing special and overpriced. Service is average. Ambiance is nothing special. I wouldn't return. Again the parking sucks.
google avatar

Yelp
I visited Third & Hollywood with my family after my sister's graduation, and it was an incredible dining experience! Though I live in Cleveland, my sister has lived in Columbus for years and has always praised this restaurant. It certainly lived up to the hype. The ambiance was welcoming, especially since we were the first guests of the evening. The service was exceptional, and the food was absolutely to die for. One minor critique is that the made-to-order guacamole didn't come with enough guacamole, but it was so delicious that I couldn't get enough. We also tried the grilled corn elote, which was amazing--highly recommended if you're a corn lover! For my main course, I had the Mexicali steak salad, and it was the best salad I've ever had. The portions are generous, so you likely won't need to order extra. I can't recommend this salad enough; it's a must-try. I've even considered driving from Cleveland to Columbus just to dine here again. This place is absolutely worth the trip!
google avatar

Max S.

Yelp
One of the best restaurants in Columbus. Every single time we go the service is outstanding. They have live bands during brunch which brings out great vibes. Awesome drinks and food. The artichokes are so good and the steak and eggs should be a go to. The biscuits are outstanding as well. I wish they opened these all over the country. I would go weekly.
google avatar

Yelp
Food is always amazing, servers are almost always pleasant and helpful. The cooks do an amazing job a keeping the food consistent each time you visit.

Luis F.

Yelp
Food, ambiance, and service were outstanding! My family and I were visiting from CA and this totally hit the spot. Can't wait to visit again.

Kacy B.

Yelp
Food is fabulous and the service is great too! We always get the fish sandwich and also love their salads.

Yelp
The lemon square is back If you're happy and you know it clap your hands! CLAP! CLAP!!!! One of the absolute best desserts in town.

Yelp
Recently, I introduced some young friends to the eclectic and classy styling of 3rd and Hollywood. This is a restaurant and night spot that subtilely weaves an enticing and stunning ambiance bolstered by delicious food choices from the open kitchen, making for the clientele's ability to observe fascinating prep work and the service staffs' attention to detail. The lighting, decor, and indoor and patio seating is inviting and comforting. He and I had the Rib-eye (medium rare). She had the Seared Tuna. We had the Cheddar Herb Biscuits. He and she shared a Strawberry Shortcake and I had my own. All was to perfection and delicious. Note: My late wife and I enjoyed our visits to 3rd and Hollywood for all of the only half dozen or so times we were able to go. So, I felt it was my responsibility to introduce the next generation, who will take our place.
google avatar

Eve R.

Yelp
Love Third & Hollywood for brunch! Lovely atmosphere, always amazing service. The best skillet biscuits ever! Love their coffee and their mimosas. Oh and their bacon! I like to bring my mom here for girl brunch. It's upscale and I always leave happy. The live jazz on the brunch weekends can be a touch loud depending on where you sit, but I love it regardless. Also, the patio is great if you happen to go on a nice weather day!
google avatar

Brooke J.

Yelp
Great service, great cocktails. Underwhelmed with menu choices right now and shocked out the price. You can order A5 Waygu and 1lb of King Crab 2 shareable sides with several cocktails and a soup course for the same money at Ocean Club. It's great food but it's not equal to that kind of food and shouldn't be priced that way.
google avatar

Lyn N.

Yelp
Great restaurant. I the atmosphere is warm and inviting. A great " winter setting" A butt loud but could carry on a conversation easily. Loved their choices of food. The Cheddar herb biscuits were wonderful. The smoked salmon appetizer could have been my entree with a side of veggies. Catfis is very good. The Vegitarian Grill was amazing. Everything was good perfectly. And to end your evening you get a wrapped small chocolate chip cookie that rounded out this great dining experience.
google avatar

Montana L.

Yelp
Relaxing and enjoyable spot for dinner next to the fireplace! The server was friendly and attentive. We started with the free biscuits. They arrived warm. They had a hint of cheddar to them. Delicious. The menu was pretty small but I opted for the burger and fries. The burger was cooked medium, how i ordered it, and had a good grilled taste. The shoestring fries were crispy and paired well with light tasting aioli sauce.
google avatar

Rachel N.

Yelp
Great service and ambience. They were busy so we did have to wait about 15-20 mins to get seated after our reservation. Once we were seated though, our server was so attentive. Food was good. I enjoyed the arugula salad. The chicken was a bit salty but could be good for someone who enjoys it that way! My partner got the seared tuna and he liked it enough.
google avatar

Kr L.

Yelp
It was fine. Pleasant enough. Server was nice and willing to give rec. Quiet enough for a casual conversation.
google avatar

Angie C.

Yelp
Upscale date night spot in Grand View Heights. Food were large portions so we shared the steak and the salad. Drinks were spot on. Sharing between two people was perfect! Salad is a large portion and very tasty! There's outdoor valet parking for $5 and free street parking (if you're lucky). The service was surprisingly fast and the team was very attentive.
google avatar

Vanessa B.

Yelp
We came here for our monthly supper club. They were very accommodating for our group of 16 and placed us in the private room in the back next to the lovely wine room. The biscuits? To DIE FOR. I definitely couldn't get enough, which led me to boxing up 90% of my entree. But I have no regrets. Overall, the food was good. Highly recommend the biscuits and salads. I wish the artichokes were a bit more meaty, but that's the luck of the draw. My only complaint is that one of the tables in our group got entrees first and were finished eating by the time the other group got their entrees. Overall, I was pleased with the meal. I'll definitely be back for their happy hour and a great salad. Not pictured: Ginger mojito, very refreshing and well balanced. Delish

Yelp
Very nice restaurant. The food is delicious and our server, Seattle has to be the most kind and courteous staff member in a restaurant. A really lovely experience.
google avatar

Yelp
Our server was attentive, the food was great. The ambience was attractive and intimate.

Yelp
Amazing as always I went with my friend she got the fish I got the Mexicali as always it always hits and the workers are always super nice
google avatar

Yelp
Great choice in Grandview Heights. Friendly staff & attentive server. Seating both inside and outside. Fans helped keep the outdoor space comfortable. Must try the fresh cheddar herb biscuits ( free during happy hour) & devoured very fresh guacamole & chips appetizer. All 3 of us enjoyed our lunch entrees- Hollywood salad(added chicken), corn & black bean burger & steak salad. Many cocktail & wine/beer options.
google avatar

Barri J.

Yelp
Service was wonderful. We arrived and as requested, we were seated outside. We started with complimentary biscuits. Delicious. We had artichoke and corn elote to begin, and three salads for our entrees. Everything was well prepared and delicious!!

Yelp
Delicious food, good service and a nice cozy ambiance. Perfect! I have gone there several times for special occasions, and it never disappoints.

Yelp
I have been wanting to go to Third and Hollywood for a while based on the great Yelp reviews. The place has nice upscale and fun vibes to it. We had a reservation and once we arrived we were seated right away. Our server was friendly and sweet. Everything that we ordered was good, but nothing had a wow factor which would make me want to go back to it. For appetizer, we ordered the biscuit, which was good. For entrée, I ordered the Walleye. For me it tasted like store bought fried fish sticks but presented in a fancy manner. I ordered the Strawberry Basil Mojito, which was decent. I asked our server which was the sweetest cocktail they had and she suggested the Strawberry basil. In my opinion the strawberry basil mojito was not sweet at all. For desert, we had the chocolate pot de crème, which was really good. It was rich and creamy. Overall the food was mediocre. If I am in the neighborhood then I may stop by here to try out different items, but I wouldn't come here for any special occasions.
google avatar

Jerod B.

Yelp
Very nice establishment!! We have always walked by, wondering what those great smells were a part of, now we know, met some friends there who were regulars and the food was delicious. Service was great, never had to ask for a refill of water or wine.
google avatar

Christina M.

Yelp
When people ask me what my favorite restaurant in Columbus is, I say Third & Hollywood. It just hasn't been beat, in my book. I stopped by after a long work day, and I ordered a drink and some apps. The service is always phenomenal. The staff is all super professional and genuinely polite. My favorite appetizers, the artichokes and smoked salmon, were fabulous as always. I was just a little bummed to see that they reduced the artichoke appetizer to only 2 artichokes & raised the price. So, it's now double the price per artichoke. I get inflation - but I would have loved to still see 3 artichokes. Nonetheless, a wonderful experience, as always.
google avatar

Ness S.

Yelp
I'm clearly in the minority but I am surprised that this restaurant is as highly rated as it is. And perhaps the let down from that, and the fact that we came with another couple on my recommendation (based on the reviews) was part of the disappointment. - The service was excellent. The waitress was extremely polite and attentive. The food came out on time. - The restaurant has a nice upscale but fun vibe and a ambience. - The food was disappointing. Their biscuits are good, but not like wow good. The same for my Hollywood hamburger -- it was good but there are better burgers to be had in Columbus. The ahi was similar it tasted fine but nothing popped. I didn't care much for the ginger mojito.
google avatar

Shannon B.

Yelp
They know how to hit all of the touches.. and the menu will not disappoint! Beautiful atmosphere, great service!
google avatar

Amy H.

Yelp
I'll continue to go back to Third and Hollywood. Never a bad meal for me. And hands down one of the best dirty martinis in Columbus. Plus their patio is not one to be missed. Service from our waitress was top notch as always.
google avatar

Jessica A.

Yelp
The parking is $5 valet only. You could drive around & find free parking nearby if time allows. Our waitress was very nice & accommodating. The food was delicious. We loved everything except the fries. They tasted sort of cruciferous-y... as if they were cooked with broccoli or something. It was odd. I tried to ignore it but couldn't and swapped them for the arugula salad, which was amazing!! The Mexican steak salad was huge! After you eat the biscuits & smoked salmon there isn't much room for anything else lol. We ended up needing to-go boxes. The food options here remind me a lot of Northstar Cafe & Lindsey's (in Cleveland)...which is not a bad thing.

Yelp
Had been recommended this place for date night a while ago and had not made it out. So glad we did. Our hostess was very attentive. She came by frequently to make sure we had everything we needed. We each had a drink (gin and tonic and a ginger kick). They were both refreshing. We split the Mexicali salad with steak and the filet mignon. Everything was delicious and the portions were plenty. I didn't think they would be. The Mexicali salad had a Southwest style spicy mayo/ranch dressing that had a kick and was very savory with the steak that was cooked perfectly medium and roasted corn. The filet was also perfect. They were kind enough to split it for us and it was a great portion! The vibe was very "lodgey" with dark warm tones and dimly lit ambiance. Will definitely be back.
