Third Eye Adventure

We had the absolute pleasure of trekking the Tsum Valley and to Manaslu Base Camp with Sandip from Third Eye Adventure, and we honestly couldn’t have had a better guide. From the very start, Sandip’s friendly, smiley personality and easygoing nature made the entire experience unforgettable. He was endlessly helpful - always making sure we had the food we wanted, finding us the best rooms in teahouses, taking pictures/videos of us and happily accommodating our requests to change the route and skip rest days. When freak weather meant we had to cut the trek slightly short, Sandip handled the situation calmly and professionally, making sure we got down from the mountains efficiently and safely. His care, experience, and good judgment gave us complete confidence at all times. Sandip also made the journey so much fun. He taught us how to play Dumbal (a Nepalese card game) and even how to shuffle cards properly! He helped us learn basic Nepali phrases and numbers, pointed out wildlife we’d have completely missed, and shared fascinating insights about the local culture and traditions. His English is excellent, and it was clear from the comments of other trekkers that we were very lucky to have him - so many people mentioned how friendly he was and his good English. After three weeks together, Sandip felt more like a friend than a guide. We can’t recommend Sandip and Third Eye Adventure highly enough. If (or rather, when!) we come back to Nepal for more trekking, we’ll absolutely choose Sandip again. A truly fantastic guide and great guy!

We did the 10-day Annapurna Base Camp trek (15–24 Oct 2025) with Third Eye Adventure and had an amazing experience! Ganesh, the Managing Director, has been incredibly professional and responsive since our first contact in Nov 2024. He answered all my questions, adjusted to our requests, and planned the itinerary perfectly for our group of 10. Our main guide Ramji Dahal and assistant guide Takor were both fantastic — attentive, observant, and always looking after our comfort and safety throughout the trek. Everything from our tea house stays to meals was handled smoothly. Highly recommend Third Eye Adventure for anyone planning to trek in Nepal — they can customize trips for any budget or style, from budget to luxury. Had a great time trekking the Mardi Himal base camp route from pokhara. The itinerary was tailored to my very short visit to Nepal and allowed me to squeeze in some excellent trekking at the end of the season. Travel from my hotel in Kathmandu was organised by the company and Rabin was a great guide taking care of everything, and was also funny and knowledgeable of the local area. Would definitely recommend Third Eye if planning a trek in Nepal, especially if you're arriving last minute without a plan!

This is my second time trekking with Third Eye Adventure. The first was a 14days ABC trek with 35 other friends. This time, there were only 2 of us on a 10days Mardi Himal base camp trek. Mr Ganesh and his team will always give us their best attention, care & guidance, no matter the size of the group. On this trip, our guide, Nitesh provided us with excellent attention and care in food quality and timeliness, comfortable accommodation, safe transportation, informative & helpful advice, and constant encouragement on trek. As the Mardi Himal trek is a short and steep one with mostly steps starting from Kande till Siding village on the last day, our daily hike in duration and distance were 3 to 6 hours and 9 to 16km.  Personally, I felt that the harder treks were from Forest Camp to Low Camp and High Camp to the Upper Viewpoint Mardi Himal but the stunning views along the way made the struggle worthwhile. Our guide, Nitesh and porter, Rizan were wonderful and they were both patient with my slow pace of trekking up and just kept me company all the way up. All in all, my friend and I had an awesome and memorable experience both on trek and in town and we would definitely recommend Third Eye Adventure to anyone and will be coming back to Nepal to explore Langtang!! April 2024 Everest Basecamp Trek🥰 Our trek to Everest Base Camp was an unforgettable experience! Despite facing delays with our aircraft due to weather conditions, the entire trip was well-organized and smooth, thanks to the excellent arrangements by the team. The highlight of the journey was undoubtedly the guides. Their experience, patience, and support throughout the trek made all the difference. They were always there to assist and guide us, ensuring the four of us were comfortable and safe at every step. Their encouragement and knowledge about the terrain kept us motivated, even during challenging moments. From start to finish, the arrangements were impressive, from accommodations to meals, and everything ran seamlessly once the weather cleared. We couldn’t have asked for a better team to make this dream trek come true. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a reliable and professional trekking experience!

Had a wonderful EBC trek thanks to the attentiveness and organization provided by this tour company. Lodging, food, and transportation were all covered well even despite difficulties (like delays at Lukla airport). Our main guide Nitesh really tended to our every need and made sure we were comfortable. Our Sherpa guides Lhakpa and Pare were a joy to be around on and off the trail. Overall a great experience, will be sure to come back someday.

Highly recommend Ganesh and his team for Nepal trekking. They treat their clients as family going above and beyond the itinerary to make the trip a memorable one. I did a solo Mardi Himal trek with them, my guide & porter was Nitesh. What I appreciate about him is that he wasn't hurrying me up or be overbearingly helpful as some guides tend to do. He always walked a few steps ahead of me, allowing me to appreciate the scenery, catch my breath, cross the hurdles on my own and enjoy the trekking experience. And everytime we spoke I learnt about Nepal its culture, social, economical, political situation, life in Nepal etc it was great talking to him. During our descent it rained heavily and Nitesh did help me as I was slipping everywhere in mud 😂 We finished the trek a day earlier and on the extra day at Pokhara, Nitesh took me for sightseeing. We went to Mountain Museum on his suggestion and it was time well spent as I learnt a lot about mountaineering in Nepal. As he mentioned among all the accolades bestowed on people who complete mountain expeditions probably once in lifetime, the mention of names of the guides, porters and sherpas is lost, who go up and down those 8000ers many a times in a year. I had another day in KTM, where Nitesh again helped me buy few gifts for family. Thanks for all your patience while I shopped and haggled 😊 I will definitely recommend your company to friends and family, best of luck for future!

9 Days of wonderful trekking experience to ABC base camp with Third Eye team. Prior to heading to Pokhara, Ganesh had prep us with a good briefing session on safety, the understanding on the overall journey and what to expect. He told us just to enjoy ourselves the wonderful sceneries along the way and his lead guide/host – Nitesh and porters will take good care of us! Indeed, the trip was well organised, and Nitesh had always look into our wellbeing, safety and ensuring to enjoying ourselves throughout trip. We all bonded well along the way with lots of pictures taken together (boy! Nitesh & the porters are good at taking pics!). I had indeed enjoyed myself thoroughly, soaking in the experience and immerse myself throughout the beautiful landscapes. When we finally reached ABC base camp, it just completes the entire wonderful trek with Annapurna and other mountains surrounding us – What an amazing and exhilarating experience! A big Thank YOU to Third Eye team - Ganesh, our jovial Nitesh, Dhan, Vijay, Bijian & Sunil. You folks have made this trekking so much fun for us!
