Absolutely incredible quality Indian food and just as amazing value for money. Went twice during our visit to Khatmandu and dined in the courtyard- the best location to dine is the upstairs roof terrace. Make sure it’s on your list of places to dine when you visit.

The prices are on the higher side, we tried the butter naan and butter chicken. The butter chicken was a bit on the sweeter side—might not be for everyone, but still flavorful. The place was clean, and the hygiene standards were impressive. Staff were very cooperative, which added to the overall experience.

Felt like having indian food on that day. Google showed it as the top 3 search results near to our location that's around 1 km we were.
Cutting long story short, the place was ok. The food was average, and believe me, for that price range and ambiance, Kathmanduhave way better places to go.
Overall, it's not worth a shot. As, I'm not a fan of places where the F&B Team doesn't work together(shared by staff).

Tried Third Eye Restaurant and had a great experience. The chicken biryani was flavorful and well-cooked. Also tried roti and curry—both were equally good. Service was nice and courteous. Would recommend.

My favorite restaurant in Thamel, if it’s not pizza day. Love the baked lamb shank with risotto. Very friendly and attentive staff. Good location with rooftop right in center of Thamel. Now they also provide a menu with pictures of the food.

Best quality Indian food in town. Pricey, yes. But it was worth it. Loved all their Kebabs and curries were point on.
Just one suggestion to the Mgt/Kitchen team, please keep an eye on consistency. One of the Kebabs we ordered & absolutely loved the flavor & texture was Mutton boti kebab. We therefore ordered a second round of the same but sadly the texture was more chewy and not tasty as the earlier one. Please be consistent in what you do 🙏

If you're looking for delicious Indian food in Thamel, don't miss Third Eye Restaurant! The atmosphere is super cozy, and the menu has loads of options to accommodate all sorts of diets and preferences. We got the pakora, vegetable curry, and dal makhani, and everything was delicious!
