Thirion - Charcuterie & Vins

Allowed us to eat here and have some wine even though we didn't have a reservation. It was our first meal after our wedding, and it was delicious. Thank you for your hospitality and food. The host was very knowledgeable and paired our meal with the perfect wine!

Lots of cold craft beer, many Belgians!!

An amazing lunch of cheese and charcuterie with a glass of wine and then an Achel brown ale. Very warm and welcoming owner - we had a chat about the state of Belgian rugby and the plight of Trappist ales!

Amazing charcuterie, cheese and sometimes also chocolate - all from Belgium. Everything is high quality and very reasonably priced. The service and exceptionally friendly. Can warmly recommend.

A very well located place in front of "Vor Frelsers Kirke" It's a really welcoming place. There is a nice decoration on Belgium's theme. About food and drinks, of corse they have a nice selection of Belgium beer, the classic one but also more original. Some goods delicatessen and cheeses. There is also a good selection of french vine. The bonus even toilets have a belgium touch decoration haha! 🍻 Santé!

Wow, this place was excellent! It is located across from the church and has a Belgian flag out front. The owner is super nice to talk to and very knowledgable about the beers, the food and the area. It is definitely very Belgian and there are many Belgian beers in bottles you can have with food or to buy. The food here was delicious! We only had a snack but it was amazing! We shared the large charcuterie plate between four people. There were three different types of meat, all very fresh and delicious. It also came with bread, cheese, small pickles and the most delicious pate I've ever tried. This place is well worth a stop!

Amazing little belgian store in Christianshavn !!!! It is difficult to find the place, but it's also small. You can recognise it at the Belgian flag. You won't find a lot here, but they have the best belgian beers you can find. And a also belgian charcuterie. They even have fresh beer and you can also eat in. (only 2 - 3 tables but enough to have a beer and charcuterie). They are super friendly and know everything about the beer. I'll come a lot here :)

Thirion is a very special place. Though directly across the street from The Church of our Saviour and within a few blocks of Christiana, the lack of Americanized neon lights, pulsating music, or a gorilla spinning a "great eats here" sign, made it nondescript. I cautiously followed my coworker down the steps into this basement gem and it was lifechanging (maybe a little exaggeration.) Eric specializes in charcuterie and wine. He also must have a side business of converting lapsed vegetarians/sometime vegans into full on carnivores. The combination of his quaint shop with classical music, "try this" samples, great deals on exceptional wine, and probably the best (if not most memorable) sandwich I've ever had, made Thirion one of the high points of my week in Copenhagen. Sheer simplicity with great ingredients-crusty bread, Dijon mustard, arugula, salami, and a cornichon pickle, washed down with some red wine made for quite a memorable afternoon. Make that 2...Liked it so much I made another trip the next day for a repeat performance. Eric is just a nice guy with great knowledge and products who you want to see do well. Highly recommend Thirion.

Don't miss if you love Belgian beer or great charcuterie. Small so reservations are probably a good idea, but we were able to be seated without one on a weekday around lunchtime. Sandwiches are available for takeout. I only makes excellent an extensive selection of Belgian beers, but also a very well-curated selection of well- priced French wine.

We stopped in here for a quick sandwich. The owner made everything fresh with fresh bread, cheese and meat. We also had the elderberry juice. Really good experience. Next time we will plan to try one of his "50 different Belgian beers". They also had a wine. Would definitely go back!

Quality charcuterie from Belgium & FRANCE, quality Belgian beers and Burgundy wine specialist. Great vibe & knowledgeable host. A must for a lunchtime quality feed in Copenhagen's heart.

Amazing charc, great beer, and incredible service! A must when in Christianshavn. This place definitely makes you feel as if you stepped into another time when things where much simpler and food was treated with so much respect. I salut this establishment.
