I like their oolong milk tea with taro balls but it’s quite strong

ThirsTea in Mississauga is a fantastic spot for bubble tea and desserts! I tried their Muddy Milk Tea, Mango Milk Tea, Strawberry Lychee Slush, and Bubble Ice Cream Waffle, and everything was absolutely delicious. Muddy Milk Tea had a rich and creamy texture with the perfect balance of sweetness and boba. Mango Milk Tea was refreshing and had a natural mango flavor that wasn’t overly artificial. Strawberry Lychee Slush was a fruity, icy delight—so refreshing and perfect for a hot day! Bubble Ice Cream Waffle was the ultimate treat—crispy on the outside, soft inside, and loaded with ice cream and toppings. The presentation was beautiful, the service was friendly, and the overall vibe was cozy and inviting. Highly recommend for bubble tea lovers and dessert enthusiasts! Would definitely come back to try more!

It was a nice atmosphere. Music was way too loud though. I love the “stop the timer” concept. It adds good entertainment for the customers. I ordered a strawberry matcha latte, the drink was way too sweet with the strawberry puree and there was no matcha in my drink… as you can tell by the photo, it’s clear that they did not add matcha. The mochi cookie was okay too but I wouldn’t be ordering these items again that’s for sure.

Could this be Mississauga's hidden gem for bubble tea? Possibly. I came across this place by chance and decided to give it a try. I got 3 drinks: one Jasmine green tea, one classic milk Boba tea and one pineapple tea with Boba. I was not that big of a fan of the pineapple but loved the other ones. I don't like the Boba used as I find it a little too chewy and the taste isn't as good as other Boba pearls I've had. I find this one to have a bit of stronger taste. It's a small shop, but cute. There are board games available and it gives off a cozy/chill vibe. When waiting for your drink, there's a seating area near the door and even a game you can try. The timer/game gives you the chance to win a free drink on the house if you manage to get a perfect 10:00 score (I mean you manage to stop the timer on that time). Product was well packaged. Drink was not too sweet despite not having adjusted the sweetness level, which I liked. The only thing for me was the waiting time which took forever, as in more than 20 minutes to be served. It was busy and there was only 1 person working. 1 person for the entire place, to make drinks and take the orders. I can imagine how much slower it would be during peak hours. I went during non-peak hours and there was only 2 people in store sitting down, yet it took me over 20 minutes to get assistance. Prices are quite reasonable. I'd love to try their waffles next time.

One of my favorite bubble tea spots in Mississauga! I tried the mango slush with tapioca, and it was absolutely delicious—refreshing, flavorful, and just the right amount of sweetness. The interior of ThirsTEA is amazing, with a cozy and vibrant atmosphere that makes it a great place to hang out. The wall filled with colorful notes adds such a unique and personal touch to the space (just like in the picture I’ve attached!). Definitely recommend this place for bubble tea lovers

Google
This place got a large variety of different drinks. They also have daily deals where you can get drinks for $4 medium size and $5 large size. Drinks are colourful and tasted good. Ingredients they use are good quality and are made in front of you. Their ice cream waffle snack is a must get. It pairs up with their drinks well.

Google
Had the mango milk tea and strawberry slush. Both were pretty good.

Google
This place is the best! The cheesecap is to-die-for! There's so much when you order it as well. The creamy drinks are all so delicious, they feel fresh instead of that chemical taste you get from some smoothies. I love the wide selection of toppings, they have every topping I have heard of, and more!

Yelp
Review as of Nov 1st, 2024: Enjoy some board games while drinking some bubble tea at this Mississauga Thirstea location! They only have a small selection of board games and a small dining area with few seating. They also have some cute bean bags for you to relax on and also some stuff plushies (as shown in the video) On Fridays and Saturdays they are open till 1:00am! Went here on a Friday night at around 11:00pm and wasn't busy at all. I got the watermelon green tea drink with grass jelly and brown sugar milk tea both in medium size with 30% sugar and less ice. I really enjoyed both drinks. Been here a couple times as I am a repeat customer. Next time, I'll probably try some of their best selling drinks!

Yelp
I'm always very excited to try new bubble tea and decided to try this bubble tea shop because I was in the area. They have the usual selection of milk/fruit teas and I decided to try their classic tapioca black milk tea to compare the tea flavor to other bubble tea shops. I got my usual 30% sugar less ice and I thought the drink was average. There wasn't anything special in the tea that'll make me crave this drink and the tapioca was also average; not too soft, not too hard with a hint for sweetness. I would've liked the tapioca to have a little more sweetness. Many other reviews talked about the muddy milk tea so if I were to come back i would give that a try.

Yelp
An odd hole-in-the-wall location in Cooksville but the boba and drinks don't disappoint! I had their Brown Sugar Latte with tapioca, and my friends had the chocolate milk tea and honeydew milk tea. The drinks were all pretty good - but hands down the Brown Sugar drink was the best! It's their most popular flavor and it tasted fresh and delicious. Will definitely be back to try more flavors. The location isn't the best; but the interior was nice and clean, they had games and the staff were attentive and super quick (we got our drinks in under a minute!). If you're in the area, definitely give ThirsTea a try!

Yelp
I think I've had bbt here before with Uber. Wanted to try this place and thankfully there's free parking at the back! But it is a busy intersection so be careful entering and exiting. Opening the door you can smell the sweetness of the sugar and teas it was really strong. Didn't know what to get so I got what they recommended which was the muddy milk. It'd essentially an alley deeroica. I got it with less ice and half sugar but it was still really sweet to me. Bit on the pricey end hut it wasn't too bad.

Yelp
It's a fairly small shop, but a great place to relax and have fun with friends! They offer a variety of games to play; in fact, we spent over 2 hours just playing Jenga there. The drinks offered are significantly pricier than those at other places, but the quality is much better. In fact, Thirstea claims to use pure fruits and half-half cream - none of that powdery stuff you see elsewhere. If you look behind the counter, you'll actually find a fridge stocked full of half-half! I ordered the mango slush (asked the cashier whether he would recommend the mango or lychee, and he suggested the former). I asked for no additional sweetness, but it turns out you can't quite change the sweetness level! The drink was good, but as the ice melted, I came to realize that it was likely mango concentrate combined with ice. Come to think of it, it did taste like it. As such, compared to the Mango Diamond Slush offered by Real Juice, it may not be that good in value. My friends ordered the large creamy honeydew and taro slush with tapioca. Both enjoyed their drinks!

Courtney C.

Yelp
Hidden gem located in Mississauga. They got a wide range of selections. Some drinks are better than others. Not a fan of their milk teas or tapioca and grass jelly, I've had better ones at bigger bbt chains. However, I recommend their red bean matcha latte, and their special fruit teas. They are also currently doing grape theme. Grape green tea or creamy grape yogurt drink are my absolute favourite. A creamy grape yogurt drink might sound really weird but don't knock it until you try it!!

Yelp
This bubble tea shop is a hidden gem in Mississauga, tucked in the alley of a plaza. They have lots of flavours to chose from and different variations - creamy, cheesy, fruit teas, milk teas, etc. We have here the creamy honeydew with tapioca and creamy watermelon with lychee jelly. Both were great and refreshing. You could really taste the fruits in the drinks. Check out IG: @ooi.eats for your next foodie adventure.

Yelp
I hate this part of Mississauga and avoid it all costs, but when my gf told us a new BBT shop opened up... well looks like we were heading to Hurontario and Dundas! So the six of us made our way there on a Friday night, 30 mins before closing. Getting there and the location is super sketch, but once inside the shop, it's super cute and inviting! Tons of board games and they even have video games! I like how the ordering system is laid out for you in terms of, sugar level, ice and even how creamy you want your drink! I ordered the classic black milk tea and got the least amount of everything. 30% sugar, less ice and less creamy. Despite all this, it still tasted good! I may have preferred for the black tea taste to come through a liiitttle stronger, though. I tried a sip of my friend's mango slush and while it was okaaay, there was something off putting about it. I didn't get that full taste of a real mango. Maybe too much ice? They have a lot of interesting drinks and I do plan on coming back to try more, such as their taro! Oh also, the cups are super cute. That little curve at the bottom really changes a whole cup and sets it apart from other BBT places lol. All about the aesthetics! I like that they had games and it was nice to get in 2 rounds of Jenga before they closed. It is a small place though, and they only have one booth for a large group to play games. The other "half" of the establishment has bean bags and some chairs.

Kelly K.

Yelp
Came in a group late last night and ordered a variety of teas. Really nice how you can customize the ice and sugar levels. Sone unique options here I havent seen at other tea locations.

Yelp
New BBT place in Mississauga!!!! Stumbled upon their instagram page on my feed and ohhh emmm geee you have no idea how excited to see something opening in the hood and not all the way in the far east! Thirstea is opened in the south east corner of Hurontario and dundas. Very hidden in a plaza ive never visited. Parking lot was very busy, I almost couldnt find a spot. But i did see a sign saying theres additional parking at the back. The must try is their creamy fruit series!! They use REAL FRUITS and cream. Not the powder drinks that you often get at bbt places. They are also the first in Mississauga that offers 24K gold topping for an extra cost! Loved the cozy environment. High bar tables and comfy bean bags. Board games and TV, lots of plugs if you want to work on your laptop here! Owners designed their cute logo. Come try this place when youre bored of the main chains ;)

Yelp
I didn't go there myself. I had t delivered. After eating ramen I felt the need to have some kind of beverage. Hence SkipTheDishes comes to the rescue! I saw THIRSTEA. Intriguing name. I ordered regular sized strawberry slush with 50% sugar and grass jelly. I love it! I love strawberries. It doesn't taste artificial at all. I also ordered Rose Tea Cheese Cap. It is surprisingly good. The foam at the top is cheese and beneath is a lovely rose flavoured tea. I got my drink 0% sugar with grass jelly. It taste so GOOD. I would definitely order again. There are plenty of choices to pick from. And I love how you can create the drink to your own liking. And so many toppings to pick from. Woot woot! Love it! October 29th 2018: I'm back!!! Got the Rose milk tea with grass jelly and 50% sugar :) LOVING IT!!!!!

Yelp
This place isn't bad. The taste is there but the staff was not welcoming enough for me. My friends and I walked in and they did not greet us. But instead stared at us with blank stares and then talked amongst each other about how we were talking to long to order. And instead of helping us make an order or asking if this was our first time.... Because of the staff this place gets a 3 out of 5. I only gave 3 because they are the only bubble tea place I know that offers taro ball as a topping

Nawel K.

Yelp
Omg I love this place- seriously some of the best bubble tea. I am never adventurous when it comes to trying bubble tea flavors and toppings except from here. Usually because it's so good and the other places are a hit and miss. I recently discover cheese caps and I'm so glad I did.

Selena C.

Yelp
Hidden away at the southeast corner of Hurontario and Dundas, it was slightly hard to find. It's in a sketchy run down area (well that intersection is often quite sketch) so if you're coming at night time you might run into some crazies. The inside is cute and very modern. They had some interesting flavours I don't usually see in other bbt places. You can even adjust the temperature of your drink which is nice. Unfortunately for them, the location might not be the greatest to have a business like this especially since it's hidden from plain view if you just pass by, we had to actively drive/ walk around before we found it

Michelle B.

Yelp
Lately I've been a bubble tea addict so I've been trying out all of the places I find on here. They were opened the latest so that played a huge role in why I gave it a try. Upon entering i instantly noticed how clean it was. The staff immediately greeted us which was great. The pricing was very standard, and the quality was great. The Taro was delicious. The honeydew milk tea was great as well...just wasn't the usual green colour we were used to. I'd definitely be returning to try some more items on the menu.

V D.

Yelp
Decided to give this place a try and I'm glad I did! The bubble teas don't taste like powder. I ordered the rose milk tea and Okinawa milk tea. I forgot to add tapioca but it still tasted pretty damn good. I'll definitely be coming back!

Jenn S.

Yelp
This might be our new favourite bubble tea place! Lots of great flavours and lots of things you can add in. I love that you get to choose the level or sweetness and level of ice! I also adore the cheese cap, omg. Everything we've ordered so far were great and we could not choose a favourite flavour.

LiSa M.

Yelp
This was our first time there and we fell in love at first sip! We will definitely go back to try the wide variety of flavours. It's a small space but they tried to make it a cozy hangout. Worth a try even if you just want to take your drink to go!

Sandra M.

Yelp
Such a hidden bubble tea gem in Mississauga! If you're tired of the hustle and bustle in bigger chain bubble tea restaurants I definitely suggest going here. The staff is so nice and the atmosphere of the entire place is super chill. Although it's not that big, I love how your able to play board games and even video games while you're there. If you want to go here just keep in mind that the GPS will probably take you to a sketch looking back space of buildings but there is parking there so don't worry you'll be fine!

Nicole P.

Yelp
Cute, aesthetics pleasing boba tea shop in Mississauga. Has modern decoration and a decent amount of seating. I ordered the Rose Tea Cheese cap with the 24k gold topping which was $5 extra. My husband ordered the Creamy Mango milk tea. We were both very pleased with our drinks. Staff is very friendly and even brought our drinks to us. Will definitely go here again!

Afsha S.

Yelp
I absolutely love The Alley, Coco and Onezo (their taro, mmmh) but we've been missing out on having a high-quality one-off bubbletea spot in central Mississauga. I'm so happy we found this one. The packaging is adorable, the service is wonderful and the bubble tea is perfect. They have so many different flavours (we've tried about 6 so far) and they're all great. The cheesecap was a nice touch but the Okinawa milk tea stole my heart.

Victoria D.

Yelp
This place has some really great drinks! Their bubble tea is solid, and they always have some cool looking specials and seasonal fruity drinks. The place itself is a super chill space, with bean bag chairs, board games and video games. The staff is always very polite and helpful when it comes to recommending drinks !

Ryan Y.

Yelp
my new go to bubble tea spot when I'm in this area. I love their taro milk tea, they have the best tasting one around. I add tapioca pearls (obviously), and they have an option to add oreo topping which I have found is an amazing combination. it's one of the only bubble tea spots I've found that gives you this option.

Rhea D.

Yelp
A very average tea place. Tasted like Hong Kong packet tea to me, I tried okinawa tea. I wouldn't go back. Honestly Alley is the best tea place so far.

Heidi A.

Yelp
New and unique little bubble tea joint in Mississauga. This little gem contains some board games, video games and different areas to sit and chat with friends. I personally love their original black milk tea and add the cheese cap-- tastes like liquefied Japanese cheesecake. Yum!

Nad O.

Yelp
So. Good. First time trying it was today! Parking is crazy so I recommend parking by the KFC and simply walking over. It's a big hidden but one you see it it's easy to find. The interior of the store is so peaceful and welcoming, calming music and beanbags to sit on which are super comfy! My boyfriend and I were the only customers around 2pm so they even brought us out drinks as we were sitting down in the beanbag chairs. Staff are also really polite. I had the secret menu Matcha Cap Slush and my boyfriend had the Red Bean Milk Tea. Everything doesn't taste processed and the Cheese Cap on my drink was to die for - hands down the best one I've ever tasted. Prices are pretty fair too! I definitely recommend his place.

Cassandra N.

Yelp
BUBBLE TEA... this place brings you back.. Board Games.. Chill Seating.. Piano.. and Video Games.. oh yeah and BUBBLE TEA.. they're super nice here and it's a good place to let loose or come after work. You can relax in the nice bean bag chairs or even at the booth or high top but in case you get bored of looking at your phone you can grab a board game and play with your friends. :)

Tina T.

Yelp
Friendly staff!! Drinks are !!! Will definitely come back if I'm in the area. I got the muddy milk tea and rose milk tea with regular sugar. Both were good, not too sweet!

Cherissa G.

Yelp
This place became my go to place for bubble tea! Although it is a bit out of the way, I can say that it's a hidden gem. The staff are always so friendly and I've never had any problems with my orders. Would definitely recommend this place to a friend:)

Sabrina T.

Yelp
Must try their cheese caps!!!!THE BEST IN TORONTO Most preferred: Jasmine green tea cheese cap!!!!!! LOVE THEIR CHEESE CAPS

Rejjan C.

Yelp
Great place in a plaza. Hard to first find it! they have so many options for bubble tea and let you choose your sugar %. Lots of customization, I will be coming back for sure.

Michelle T.

Yelp
Their drinks are pretty good. I really enjoy their cheese caps here. Service is friendly, atmosphere is good for studying (they don't play music here). Would definitely recommend this spot. Prices are a bit higher than other spots.

Ling D.

Yelp
Very nice interior and friendly staff, I enjoy the flavours of the milk teas but I found the tapiocas on the soft side, it's not as chewy as I prefer them to be but still very nice.

Camilla S.

Yelp
Love this bubble tea place. Service was quick and friendly, and drinks were very tasty. Didn't find anything wrong with our drinks and will definitely return here soon! Although in a sketchy area, it's a very nice place with comfortable seating, games and a keyboard. One of the best in Mississauga!

Michelle P.

Yelp
New bubble tea shop in Mississauga! I'm so excited because THEY USE REAL HONEYDEW - I recommend the creamy honeydew. They also have board games & bean bags around the shop for you and your friends to hang out
