Thirsty Hound Drinkery

My kids have been raving about the Thirsty Hound for awhile, so decided to come on in and have a meal! I had the Thai Chicken over jasmine rice and it was fabulous! The peanut sauce that covers the chicken is awesome! Very flavorful with a little spice kick. It was served with a excellent cucumber salad. My kids (adults but still my babies) had the Spam Musubi (with extra Spam). They love all the food but the Musubi is definitely one of their favorite dishes. Wonderful! Highly recommend.

Love this place! Drove by it for years and decided to go after an acquaintance suggested going and checking it out. The vibe when you first walk in is chill and the bartender/staff are very friendly. Theres a nice sofa area in the back of the bar with a fireplace. The floor to ceiling windows makes the place nice and bright. Because of the size of the place, it’s more of an intimate setting so don’t plan to bring a large group. Ordered the musubi bowl and the Tom Kha Gai and also tried the Baked Jalapeno poppers. All were delicious-definitely worth getting. For dessert, go with the Espresso Crème Brûlée. You’re missing out if you don’t get this dessert!

Overall 10/10 it’s pretty awesome! Got the green chile enchiladas! They tasted like smoked pork and I love em! The beer is pretty awesome too! If I didn’t live so far from here I’d come as often as I could!

This is a great bar with very good food. I ordered the Blackberry Whiskey Smash cocktail, this drink was amazing. Then I ordered the Loco Moco entree, the dish was exceptional. The servers were outstanding. I left something at the bar, and the staff quickly left the bar and returned my item. This was such an amazing experience, I will definitely return.

An absolute WONDER of a bar. The food was wonderful and freshly made, the staff was polite, helpful, and a joy to talk to, the bar was clean and lively, and even the other patrons were great to be around! The prices are standard for the time/area, but it's well worth every penny! I personally had their THD Burger and it was delicious, plus an order of their fresh Jalapeno Poppers! (You'll have to wait 20 minutes for them, but they are *so insanely worth it*) I can't wait to become a regular here!

Charming little neighborhood bar and eatery. Welcoming staff, rotating craft beers on tap, weekly food and cocktail specials in addition to yummy menu offerings. This is a favorite place for locals to gather...think CHEERS vibe. The THIRSTY HOUND DRINKERY owner Zaneta McKee is doing a fantastic job. She seems to keep things running smoothly and makes supporting the community a priority. Closed Mondays and Tuesdays.

This is my new favorite spot in University Place. The food is excellent, with creative specials and they have great dessert options. The portions are filling and the service is timely and friendly. They have a full bar and they’re not afraid to use it. Drink specials are on point and the beer choices are plentiful. The owners are always onsite as part of the staff and it shows. This place is definitely worth a visit.

This place is absolutely amazing the atmosphere & the service is 100% key when you go out & they have both, we were seated in the back welcoming with fantastic Christmas decorations & service felt very homey drinks good food good vibe good 100% will be back below are some photos from f my visit, hummus plate & drinks also got pizza which was yummy. Jayden & Stephanie were very welcoming along with the owner so nice! Again thank you
