Where to Stay in Lisbon When You Visit (Updated 2025)

"I liked the straightforward value here — the hostel has gender-separated rooms, free Wi‑Fi, and great views of Lisbon, especially from the terrace, which makes it an easy budget pick if you want a clear reminder of which city you’re in." - Matthew Kepnes

The hostel is calm. The view is amazing from the top. Iron service is available, but you have to do it by yourself The kitchen also available you can cook your own meal. Dishwashers is available and that is amazing There are restaurants in the Neighbourhood, but you have to walk around 100 m you will find verity of restaurant The reception guy his name is Fabio was amazing. He gave me a lot of information about the city and where to go. He was so helpful and polite with a great smile all the time I believe Italian Spanish and Portuguese people are the best. Also the other people one man and a young lady was so helpful and the lady helped me to made the chick in so early at 4:30 am as my flight supposed to be at 7:30 Just a small note: the bunk beds could use a bit of maintenance, as they are slightly old and tend to shake when someone moves on the upper bed. Also, having an air conditioner would be amazing, as it can get a bit hot at times. But finally you will feel so comfortable there The people are amazing in Lisbon

Awesome if you are willing to always go a little uphill. Great hostel vibe, great guests, great atmosphere. Beautiful terrace! With sun in the morning and shade during the day. Loved it!

Best spot to stay in Lisbon for anyone traveling. It's in the best part of the city (in my opinion), close to the best miradores, cost-effective, and a beautiful patio that people would pay a lot of money to eat dinner on. The staff are great too! S/O Sebastian, Fabio, Carlos, Sophia -- thank you!

A perfect hostel for a stay in Lisbon! Ideally located just a short walk from the city center, it is impeccably clean, with housekeeping every day. The beds are comfortable and always spotless, and everything is well-organized. The atmosphere is great, with friendly staff and welcoming travelers. The shared kitchen is spacious and well-equipped, perfect for cooking your own meals. And the best part? The balcony with an incredible view of Lisbon! I highly recommend it!

Staff are incredibly pleasant, place felt very clean, rooms are beautiful and the terrace and view are insane. Wish I could have spent more time here. Quiet at night as volume rules are in place!

I stayed here in the last week. The instruction video for direction to the hostel was accurate. All staffs were kind and updated daily local events or notices in terms of attractions or live music performances. I visited alone but enjoyed time with other visitors but they respected others' privacy in late time as they have a quiet lounge. Therefore, it was possible that some visitors could stay among themselves. The location was very close to the main street and the subway station. The area is quiet and residential as well.
