Where to Stay in Lisbon When You Visit (Updated 2025)

"I liked the straightforward value here — the hostel has gender-separated rooms, free Wi‑Fi, and great views of Lisbon, especially from the terrace, which makes it an easy budget pick if you want a clear reminder of which city you’re in." - Matthew Kepnes

This place is absolutely beautiful and amazing! I love the persons working there, so kind and helpful, and the rooms was fantastic, really big with a wall of windows over looking the whole city! The bunk beds were very comfortable. We were 6 in the room but it was so big it was like we were alone! The bathrooms were very clean and smelled good! Thank you!

24hr front desk, great location, the rooms with private bathroom were great. Shared bathrooms were lacking due to broken urinal and were not clean (women's restrooms were the same from what I heard), this was due to other messy guests rather than staff not cleaning it. Terrace was amazing and so was breakfast, enjoyed every bit of it. Staff was very friendly

Check in is at 4 and their accommodation is really old and cramped but well maintained. that is probably the only thing i disliked about the hostel. other than that, the balcony/patio view is really ideal for chilling! (couldnt use it as it was raining almost everyday) that aside, they had free flow of hot coffee and i made alot of buddies with meaningful convos while waiting while staying in! staff was really friendly as well!

Would definitely come back to this place. Always had a helpful and kind hearted person at the reception to help out with our needs. Rooms & wash rooms were clean. One could view the city from the terrace. More than anything i felt comfortable throughout my stay.

The hostel is calm. The view is amazing from the top. Iron service is available, but you have to do it by yourself The kitchen also available you can cook your own meal. Dishwashers is available and that is amazing There are restaurants in the Neighbourhood, but you have to walk around 100 m you will find verity of restaurant The reception guy his name is Fabio was amazing. He gave me a lot of information about the city and where to go. He was so helpful and polite with a great smile all the time I believe Italian Spanish and Portuguese people are the best. Also the other people one man and a young lady was so helpful and the lady helped me to made the chick in so early at 4:30 am as my flight supposed to be at 7:30 Just a small note: the bunk beds could use a bit of maintenance, as they are slightly old and tend to shake when someone moves on the upper bed. Also, having an air conditioner would be amazing, as it can get a bit hot at times. But finally you will feel so comfortable there The people are amazing in Lisbon

This is a clean and calm hostel with friendly service. Bedroom and Lady Shower is clean too. If you like, you can choose a little breakfast (4€). Tea and coffee is always for free. I had a very good time here. You have an amazing view over Lissabon. And it is only a short walk away from Alfama. Thank you!!! 🙏

Great views, excellent staff and respectful guests while I was there. You are paying for the view and cannot beat it. I stayed in the private room because I’m older now (33) and like to give the younger folks their time unhindered. One thing to note is that there is no WiFi in private room, which is inconvenient, but not a dealbreaker. Thanks for the wonderful stay!
