THISSIO VIEW - Rooftop Restaurant & Bar

Absolutely thrilled with our stay at Hotel Thissio! The service was outstanding, the location perfect, rooms comfortable, and the views of the Acropolis were simply breathtaking. The staff were all incredibly friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was one of the best we’ve ever had, truly exceptional! It was a wonderful experience, and we will definitely return. Highly recommended!

They are right, the roof really is a great view of the Acropolis! The food menu isn't too crowded that you have too many options, but diverse enough to have something for anyone. Very tasty! The staff was friendly and attentive.

We had a first line outside table and view at Acropolis is stunning. Food was great , drinks are more expensive but you are really paying for the view which worth every penny. Our server was very nice, friendly and knowledgeable , same about the host. Definitely worth going here after sunset.

This restaurant offers a truly breathtaking view of the Acropolis, especially at sunset, creating a magical atmosphere. The panoramic scenery alone makes it worth visiting. The service is equally impressive, with friendly, attentive, and professional staff. Everything is well-organized and smooth, making guests feel genuinely welcome. A perfect spot for a memorable dining experience in Athens.

Stunning view on the Akropolis! I had the lemon tart with ice cream which was rather disappointing. The tart itself was supermarket quality. It was filled with custard cream without a taste of lemon. The ice cream was mediocre. Forest fruit from the freezer. Pricey (14€) for what it is.

I challenge anyone to find a better spot to enjoy a pint of Mythos than Thissio View. You’ve got Thissio Park below, the Parthenon watching over you, and that golden Greek light setting the scene. Absolutely stunning - the kind of view that makes every sip taste better!

We really enjoyed the food at Thissio View, and the view was incredible. I would recommend booking the rooftop garden in advance to make sure you get the best spot. Other than the incredible food the highlight of the restaurant was Stan who greeted us outside, had a great chat with us and recommended some great places for us to visit during our trip. He checked up on as we left us left too. I did have a query about the bill a couple of days after eating here, and mentioned it in my original review. Stan saw the review and reached out to offer to investigate it for us and resolved the issue. My partner and myself really appreciate both how kind and proactive Stan was in this.

Amazing View and good personnel. Awful food, but when I say awful I mean it. The ready to eat steaks at supermarkets taste better and don't cost 40 euros each. To be honest it wasn't always like that, at summer the food was way better. But since the "Season" ended here in Greece, I gave this restaurant 2 more chances and one was more disappointing than the other.
