Thistle Port Dickson Resort

My first time at the resort and it's just for a quick getaway during the school holiday. Love the stay here. The swimming pool was really nice and clean with different section being labeled based in the depth of the pool. So it's easier to know the best section for the kids. Also a nice walking distance to a nearby beach to enjoy a nice sunset view. As for the room, love it so much. It's clean and spacious. I picked the sea view room and can enjoy a nice sunset view from the room as well. The bed is very spacious for a family of 4. Overall experience at the hotel is great and will surely be there again for another short getaway one day.

Lovely resort for families. We had wonderful time during our stay. We took connecting rooms which is a great option for families. Resort is well decorated and maintained. The swimming pool is great for both adults and kids. The beach is right after the pool. Beach is clean, water is clear. Make sure to bring your own beach mats or towels, as there are no sitting arrangements. We spent hours at the beach, it's so peaceful. Buffet breakfast was decent. It had a lot of options, but I wouldn't say too much, just enough. But they serve fresh food and refill quickly. All the staffs were very helpful and kind. Our check in and check out processes were smooth, without any hassle. The staffs at the reception were efficient and quick to respond. Overall great experience.

I had a satisfactory stay at Thistle Hotel Port Dickson. The room condition is a little dated, but overall comfortable and well-maintained. The hotel is very family-friendly, especially with its large swimming pool and spacious children’s pool area. The private beach access is just a short walk away, clean, and less crowded, making it a pleasant spot to relax. Breakfast was decent, although the food selection could be more varied. Staff service was courteous and helpful throughout my stay. The only drawback was that one of the elevators was under maintenance during my visit, which led to some waiting time since only one was operating. Overall, it’s a good option for a family getaway with great facilities for kids and easy beach access.

We had a wonderful stay! The room was clean, comfortable, and nicely maintained. The buffet breakfast offered a wide variety of choices and was absolutely amazing. In the afternoon, we relaxed at the lobby lounge with drinks and cake, which was a lovely experience. The swimming pool was spacious and very enjoyable. Overall, we truly enjoyed our time here and will definitely be coming back!

We had so much fun at the hotel. It caters wide variety of breakfast options, spacious swimming pool where both of my kids enjoyed themselves really much, and I really love the ocean view from the balcony. Beautiful resort, nice stay with family. The rooms are very well maintained and cleaned very well. Special mentioned to Norain for the hospitality. The room arrangements that she done, greatly appreciated. She also extends beyond his service by recommending us all the place of interest to visit. Overall wonderful stay and will come back.

Perfect location with less crowded beach, buffet breakfast has sufficient varieties and queue was managed well without much waiting. Other facilities include well furnished gym, Lego room for kids, movie room and claw machines. Staff are friendly and smiling. Definitely my go to hotel stay for my family from now on!

I booked a stay at Thistle PD from 10/9-12/9. I was greeted by En Sabri a very helpful and polite staff who helped with my bags and took me to the reception. Ms Suriani made my registration process a breeze and even assisted me to change room. She was so helpful and courteous. The next day, I met Ms Norain to request for cleaning and she attended to it immediately. Overall, its a pleasant stay with good breakfast, professional staff and most importantly access to the amazing beach! Oh finally the Coconut Cendol is a must try too...Thank You for the experience Thistle PD.

Great pool bar, very expensive compared to local prices, though. The beer bucket was $120RM, which could have covered a full course meal for a family elsewhere. The rooms were very comfy, and the amenities were plentiful. I was there for work, but I wouldn't mind coming back for a vacation, especially with those room prices!

Felt somewhat scammed with the pics and description of the hotel. The pics are probably from the opening day as they look nothing like the actual rooms. The rooms were dated and not kept well. We booked a suite and there was a living room and a bedroom. There was only one tv in the living room. It wouldn't be as bad if the view wasn't blocked by a wall in the bedroom. We were given only two bath towels. Imagine that; only two for the entire suite. And let's not get started with the staff. Would it kill them to smile just a little? The person that checked us in spoke to us in a foreign language even though we spoke to her in English. The friendliest staff were the porter and the lady that checked us out. Go figure.
