Friendly owners who made us feel welcome and helped us organise trips around the island. Our room was very comfortable, with plenty of space for our belongings, meaning we didn’t feel like we were living out of a suitcase. There was a feast for breakfast, with beautifully fresh ingredients. A 2-minute walk down the road to a gorgeous small beach - peaceful but also with a van to buy drinks and snacks. A 15-minute walk to the village with outstanding restaurants - everything is so tasty!

We had a fantastic stay here! The room was spacious and very comfortable, and the breakfast was generous with a great variety. The hotel is perfectly located near the loveliest little beach in the area. Although we didn’t have a car, the walk to Nikiana was pleasant, following a path along the beach, and the local bus to Nydri and Lefkada stops right outside the hotel. The owners were incredibly friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

Beautiful boutique hotel with exquisite decor, showing attention to every detail. Our room was on the smaller side, especially the shower, but equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. There is air conditioning or heating, depending on the season. The hotel is conveniently located near several beaches and a variety of restaurants, especially during high season. If you visit in November, as we did, it’s necessary to go to the center of Lefkada for more dining options.||During high season, breakfast is a buffet, while in low season it’s à la carte, with selections made the night before. Nonetheless, the food is plentiful, and we were able to choose as many options as we wanted. Everything was delicious. It’s a family-run hotel, and the hosts were very friendly, helpful, and gave us great recommendations to explore the island. In front of the hotel, there’s a small pool with a hot tub, though it was no longer in use during our visit.

The third time on Lefkada, I spent my 14 days vacation at the Thomais Boutique Hotel in Nikiana. Being a boutique hotel, it is different to typical holiday hotels, in the positive sense. First, it is a small hotel, I guess around 8 to ten rooms. The rooms are designed in an unusual, modern way and with a lot of love for details. All illumination, directly or indirectly selectable, is based on energy efficient LED technology. Each room has it's own motto and is designed individually. My deluxe two person room was spacious and featured a large bed with a thick quality mattress.|If you order a land view room, you have silent ambience, the sea view rooms however are oriented to the coast road. I heard about people complaining about the unevitable traffic noise this causes, but if you research correctly in advance (e.g. by Google maps) you will see this before. Luckily, the sea view rooms have a dual glass balcony sliding door (and a second mesh slider against insects), and this way there is almost no noise, especially in the night there is generally low traffic only.|The air condition with free adjustment of the settings is included and so is a small safe and a fridge. A TV set is also in the room, offering mostly greek channels. The WiFi is well meshed and strong with multiple repeaters.|Compared to other hotels, the cleaning of the rooms is on the highest possible level and really top notch.|Breakfast is selected in advance and features all options you may appreciate. I especially enjoyed the daily really fresh fruit selection and and the well cooled pure orange juice.|The manager couple was friendly and helpful throughout and offered me food even at late arrival or early departures (as it happens with planned boat trips or other activities).|The a la card dishes are reasonable sized, nicely prepared and tasting really well, but a bit on the pricey side.|Unfortunately I had not time to visit the rooftop table possibility and I also missed the chance to exercise a bit using the underwater cycle and treadmill which reside in a small open air basin.|The location of the hotel between Nidri and Lefkada town is fine to visit both spots with any motorized vehicle. Attention: Bus schedule is just around 4 to 5 times a day, so you need exact planning if you rely on such option.|As the summary, the hotel is clearly recommendable for a full vacation stay, being and adult only facility you are free of ususal children noise and disturbance, and all guest are behaving well which adds to the high level of recreation during the stay.

Hotel advise they are only responsible for info on their own website despite - I assume - customers using tour operators and booking sites info for an informed choice when choosing their holiday .|So … Based on info on the drop down menu of Thomais website - vs - this is what we actually found |HOTEL - Reception , lobby , cafe-bar , breakfast area …. They are ALL in one open plan room.|GARDEN - I ‘think’ they refer to seating at front of hotel next to horrendously busy/ noisy road as that’s all we found - images 4,6,7 in gallery |AQUA GYM - very small pool, one bike , one treadmill ( evidence of what looked like rust ) . Next to busy main road . No sunbeds - plus you have to book a slot .image 11|SPA- ? No idea where this was unless they mean pool may have jets ? |BEACH BAR - accross the busy road about 200 to 300m was a mobile van like a burger van at a fair serving drinks , cheap looking sunbeds ( no cushions) at an additional cost |SMALL SHOP - was shelves with oil|SMALL LIBRARY - was shelf with 2nd hand books |No welcome drink was offered |BUSINESS CENTRE - loan of a lap top and use of printer behind reception desk. No separate area . |BREAKFAST- this was adequate |ROOM - we had a lifestyle room - Hers Paradise - no idea what cosmetic amenities were , no bathrobes , balcony does have a view of mountains to the right but overlooks scorched grass area and is directly overlooked by dwelling to left . Terribly noisy from traffic so couldn’t leave door open .|No Nespresso machine , no coffee in room . It also has a mirror above the bed ???|Bathroom ( shower only ) very small with shower taps at ‘hip’ height so I kept knocking myself . (I’m 5’1) |VIVARIUM WINE RESTAURANT- it states it’s next to the lobby ? No idea where they mean ( we ate out every night ) unless they mean the ‘garden ‘ area - if so , I feel road noise would spoil any dining experience - see images 4,5, 6 & 7.|Or they mean it’s the same tables as breakfast and snack bar and bar - with an outlook on to the wall by the busy road - the same room as people sitting on sofa / reading or watching tv - images 3,6,7, 11 of INDOOR gallery |Image 9 on OUTDOOR gallery on website that looks like a restaurant we did not find , no idea where it was . |Personally we also found the location a problem without a car . Buses are unreliable , roads are dangerous to walk on and taxis are expensive . I do not recommend this hotel for a summer holiday stay

My business trip during the heart of winter was made exceptionally pleasant thanks to my stay at Thomais Boutique hotel. The comfort and style of the accommodation were beyond expectations, and the cleanliness truly stood out. The recent renovations added a modern touch that enhanced the overall experience. The homemade breakfast offered a delightful variety, providing a warm and comforting start to my days. Additionally, the restaurant was a pleasant surprise, offering delicious options for a convenient dining experience.

We stayed for a week in August with two other families. The hotel is beautiful very clean and contrary to other reviews the breakfast was amazing. They had a wonderful variety and the service was absolutely excellent. The owners really care about their guests and they want to make sure you have a wonderful experience. In regards to noise it is next to a major road but we had a stunning view of the ocean and had no issues. Our friends stayed in the corner unit and said it was a bit noisy so might depend on the unit. If your looking for a hotel that is central it’s a perfect location. If your looking to stay at a hotel and just go the beach maybe find a hotel that is a bit closer. But overall it was excellent!!!

We visited this hotel for one night. We where welcomed with much respect and felt comfort. The owners are kind and helpful. “Hers paradise” room is great with view to a magnificent green landscape. Our stay was perfect. We hope to visit it again for more days.
