Thomas Hotel

A really beautiful hotel with a breathtaking view. A perfect place to simply enjoy the peace and quiet without too much tourism. Giorgos is a very nice host, very helpful and kind. I liked it very much and will gladly come back again. Thank you very much. Remark: first hotel, for me, in Rhodos where I had free climate and Fly screen on windows, very nice.

Awesome views from the rooms, hygienic, comfortable beds, friendly staff, tasty greek breakfast, quite village atmosphere, good restaurants around, and close to cool places (for example, to watch the sunset). All to a fair price. One of the best experiences. I will come back to this hotel for sure and would recommend it to everyone.

George, the owner of the Thomas Hotel, is most hospitable and friendly. He has a long family history with Monolithos and his love and enthusiasm for the area is infectious. This is a great location to experience and enjoy the quieter and more authentic side of Rodos life; nature, mountains, wild beaches, small villages selling local products and little museums of local traditions. Our room was comfortable, very clean and the views from the balcony spectacular. We really enjoyed a glass of wine in the evening looking out across the inspiring mountains and coast. The food at the local restaurant Old Monolithos was very good and the chef/patron a character. Our stay at the Thomas was a highlight of our holiday on Rhodes and we hope to return very soon.

Here you get what money can’t buy. You get the starlit sky gazing at you every night because in this part of the island the light pollution is very low. You get a tremendous view of the mountains and forests of the west side of Rhodes, and the Aegean Sea right in front of you every morning. Even though it’s an aged property, it’s always very clean and has VERY comfortable madrases. I got a problem with my back, so trust me. Also: the key for a great vacation is a good night’s sleep. Full energy to seize the day, or charge your batteries. Hospitality? Giorgos (the owner) is one the most smiling, warm and gentle person you will come to meet on your trip. Ask him for tips for hikes or restaurants or anything you might need. These are qualities that makes your vacationing on this hotel excellent.

The most authentic Greek hotel in the whole of Greece, the most peaceful and soul restoring place I've ever stayed in. Forget luxury, just honest, no gimmicks. The owners one of the nicest men in the world. A must for anyone wanting something others wouldn't understand

I stayed here in the fall of 2020 when Germany was going into lockdown again and I had an amazing time! The host Giorgos is one of the kindest and most attentive people I have ever met, my room was more than affordable and had everything I needed and the nature there is just breathtaking! I have traveled a lot and still have rarely been at such a beautiful place. It is perfect for hiking and swimming (you can hike or drive to some awesome beaches). The village has some great restaurants with super tasty Greek food and you can enjoy the calming and uplifting view over the landscape to the sea shore directly from your balcony or anywhere else in the hotel. If you have the chance and you are looking for a beautiful, sunny and save place to spend some real quality time - you must stay at Thomas Hotel! Thank me later :).

We had a pleasant stay at Thomas hotel, with a great view and a balcony in the village of Monolithos. The owner helped us with everything!!! Even the cats were adorable. Thank you for a lovely stay!||Monolithos has about three restaurants and one mini market. So make sure you have everything before settling down, since there’s not a lot to do and buy in this tiny village.||And wear ear plugs for the church bells ringing early on Saturday mornings.||Other than that, just enjoy a really calm little place that’s almost empty of tourists.
