I recently visited Farmingville Hills County Park and was pleasantly surprised by how well-maintained it is. It’s the perfect spot if you are looking for a nice outdoor workout. The trails offer moderate inclines—enough to get your heart rate up and provide a bit of a challenge, but nothing too overwhelming for a casual hiker.
Navigation was stress-free because the trails are very well marked; I never felt like I was going to lose my way. Another huge bonus is the logistics: there is a large parking lot right at the entrance, so you never have to worry about fighting for a space. Highly recommend checking this place out!

Nice exercise for you and your dog. But I would come with an additional persons. While walking through the paths you may encounter persons w no dog just sitting there and may be alarmed and not expecting. Overall nice

Great place to go walking.
Lots of hills so it gives your leg muscles a workout!
Dog friendly!
Plenty of parking
Many trails!
Negatives:
Sometimes people ride their quads in there and the paths are narrow you could collide!
Sometimes during summer, you get bit by bugs or mosquitoes!
Make sure to put lavender a d tea tree oil on yourself for a natural insect repellent.
It gets slippery when the leaves fall so be careful going up or down the hills.

Great place for a quick hike or run with or without your dog (I took mine). Not sure about some of the other reviews, but it was very clean, extremely well-marked if you know how to read trail blazes, and easy on the feet. Will be making this part of my normal cycle of dog walks.

I've been to this park twice now and have enjoyed my hike each time. Trails are well kept, markings for trails are sometimes hard to find as there are two loops that intertwine.
Some spots in the trails aren't marked so you kind of have to guess where the trail goes until you see the next marking. All in all, it's a solid trail.

The Hills Giving Tree is in the little field that opens up to all the trails, and painted rocks are hidden in the trails. It's very cute.
Watch out for poison ivy, there's a lot, but as long as you stay on the path and hike smart it shouldn't be an issue.

Fun hiking, marked very well. A fun rock balance game to try. A little small for me but still enjoyed it.
