Bristol Stephanie (Brussels, Belgium) 1 Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"This swish hotel is ideal for a peaceful break. Enjoying a prime real estate location on Avenue Louise, its spacious rooms sport a mixture of vintage and modern. We recommend the brasserie for a spot of fine dining. Why not try an “escape” room, to make your stay even more memorable?" - Tablet Hotels

I had a truly wonderful stay at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcome and taken care of. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and I immediately noticed how clean and well-maintained the entire property was. My room was spacious, comfortable, and offered everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The breakfast buffet had plenty of delicious options, and the service in the restaurant was excellent. What really stood out, however, was the friendliness and professionalism of the team. I would definitely return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Brussels 😊

I usually stay in 5-star hotels, be it for work or for leisure. This is why I can say with confidence that the Thon Bristol Sephanie offers excellent, 5-star experience, despite nominally being a 4-star establishment. I can even easily name some 5-star hotels that are lagging behind the Bristol Stephanie in one or even more regards.|Upon arrival, I was upgraded to a business room, which was a very nice gesture that I highly appreciate. When I entered the room, I was absolutely amazed: it was spacious, very well and tastefully appointed and having all the amenities one would expect from a 5-star hotel: complimentary mineral water, tea and coffee facilities, a wide range of high-quality toiletries (seems they are own-brand, still, as I said, of very high quality).|The room (and the entire hotel) was impeccably clean. It was also an excellent sign for me that the chambermaids were very nice and friendly. In my book, this is one of the hallmarks of a well-managed hotel.|Breakfast is excellent, rivalling many a 5-star hotel in this regard, too. Apart from an impressively wide range of food and beverages, a nice touch is that Yakult and fruit shots are offered at the entrance of the breakfast room.|I have already mentioned the friendly and efficient chambermaids and I want to add that the entire staff are very professional, efficient, and friendly. They are always ready to help and to answer any questions one might have. This is true about the reception staff and also about the waiting staff.|Thanks to this, the entire atmosphere is warm and relaxed and I definitely felt welcome there.|The design of the hotel is also remarkable and contributes to the overall positive experience.|About the location (location, location): the hotel is situated in a vibrant and busy area, which might not be to everyone’s taste. Nonetheless, this also means that there are many shops open from early morning till late into the evening, 7 days a week. There are also many restaurants, cafes, and other commercial outlets nearby, which makes life very easy if you travel for business and do not have much time to waste looking for a cafe/shop/pharmacy that would be open early in the morning or after the usual office hours.|My plans are to stay at the Thon Bristol Stephanie every time I go to Brussels for work (which is once or twice a month, including some longer stays, up to two weeks) and am enthusiastically looking forward to my next stay and to seeing again all the wonderful people who work there!|TL;DR: Can highly recommend.

Was so pleased to be upgraded to superior room. It’s was huge. Nice view onto Av Louise. Windows well sound insulated. The ac worked perfectly. Great location for us as we needed to be close to a friend in Uccle as well as the historic centre. Will return.

Clean hotel room, good amenities, excellent location. Front desk staff were kind and helpful. The neighborhood felt safe, near plenty of restaurants and just down the street from high-end shopping. It was an easy walk to many tourist attractions, and for things further away, there’s a taxi stand right outside the front door. Had an enjoyable stay here on a family vacation!

The hotel is really good! It offers spacious and modern rooms, very tasty breakfast (with salmon every morning),comfortable and clean conference venue and the great staff, who is hard working and respectful (esp.guys during the breakfast time). I recommend this hotel fully, the only thing that is maybe not that perfect is that it is not that close to downtown..however there are plenty of stores and restaurants in their neighborhood.

Fabulous stay at this hotel. Reception was warm and helpful. We enjoyed our room with comfortable bed, a huge bathroom with tub and sauna. The breakfast was very enjoyable, we should have booked our room with breakfast. Would absolutely stay here again.

Google
My experience at this hotel was terrible. There were no proper breakfast items available — in fact, there was almost nothing to eat. The quality of breakfast was poor, and it did not meet even basic expectations. The staff behavior was extremely rude and uncooperative. They were not helpful at all and behaved badly throughout the stay, which made the experience even worse. There were no proper facilities provided, and surprisingly, even basic items like tea bags were chargeable — something that is usually complimentary in most hotels. In fact, everything seemed to be chargeable, and nothing was offered as a complimentary service. Overall, it was a very disappointing stay, and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

This hotel is very comfortable, large room, nice amenities, breakfast nicely presented with many choices. Staff were helpful.|The location for visiting historic Brussels is not ideal - about 10 min walk to bus stops, more than 30 min walk to the Grand Place - downhill!

Yelp
The staff here was very accommodating and helped us with restaurant suggestions on our arrival. The restaurant had a daily breakfast buffet that had an overwhelming selection of items but that didn't stop us from enjoying all that it had to offer! The room was well laid out, although it was on the small side. The terrace on the other hand was enormous!! There was a dining area along with a lounge area. We were a couple but we could have invited a group of 10 over and still had plenty of room. We were on the top floor (10th) and the view from the terrace was spectacular.

Yelp
Wonderful spot in a prime part of the city. Clean rooms, attentive staff, wonderful food and bar, all around very impressive for the price. I'm definitely going to return to this spot to stay in the future. They went above and beyond for all my requests and were very polite. I've spent 2 decades in customer service so this means a ton to me. Merci beaucoup!

Yelp
Nice hotel. Currently under remodel construction. The reception is on a table in a hallway due to lobby closure. They have a decent fitness center, small rooms to rent for private event. They have a bar and restaurant that offers room service. They do morning brunch. Service is great ... And if you have kids they send someone to the room between 1800 and 2000 to fold out the sofa bed for them. Rooms are nice, but the stairs or elevator are both very tiny. The hallway is very narrow. So if claustrophobic you may not like.

Yelp
Five stars for its location and the size of our room, which was a mini suite, really. The hotel is within walking distance of many luxury boutiques and charming eateries on Brussel's Avenue Louise. The lobby decor is fun and colorful. Where they lost a star is the service. Though the staff were kind, they were slow to respond to our requests for service, and our tray was left in the hallway outside our room for many hours. Still a very nice place, for the price and location.

Yelp
Centrally located hotel at Avenue Louise / Stephanie. Very spacious rooms, appealing design and an excellent breakfast buffet. The bar area is also nice for an after dinner drink. The hotel is very easily to reach by public transport. There are lots of good restaurants and exquisite shops around. Very good value for money (with a group rate).

Yelp
The Thon hotel has a great location for the price you pay compared to the Conrad and the Sofitel that are located within walking distance. The rooms are ok if you make a reservation on the second floor or above. Otherwise, the rooms by the back entrance are not as nice and the bathrooms are horrible. The tram is around 7 minutes walking distance from hotel and, there is a minimarket right across from the tram station. It has a nice little lobby and the restaurant-bar is nice.
