I usually stay in 5-star hotels, be it for work or for leisure. This is why I can say with confidence that the Thon Bristol Sephanie offers excellent, 5-star experience, despite nominally being a 4-star establishment. I can even easily name some 5-star hotels that are lagging behind the Bristol Stephanie in one or even more regards.|Upon arrival, I was upgraded to a business room, which was a very nice gesture that I highly appreciate. When I entered the room, I was absolutely amazed: it was spacious, very well and tastefully appointed and having all the amenities one would expect from a 5-star hotel: complimentary mineral water, tea and coffee facilities, a wide range of high-quality toiletries (seems they are own-brand, still, as I said, of very high quality).|The room (and the entire hotel) was impeccably clean. It was also an excellent sign for me that the chambermaids were very nice and friendly. In my book, this is one of the hallmarks of a well-managed hotel.|Breakfast is excellent, rivalling many a 5-star hotel in this regard, too. Apart from an impressively wide range of food and beverages, a nice touch is that Yakult and fruit shots are offered at the entrance of the breakfast room.|I have already mentioned the friendly and efficient chambermaids and I want to add that the entire staff are very professional, efficient, and friendly. They are always ready to help and to answer any questions one might have. This is true about the reception staff and also about the waiting staff.|Thanks to this, the entire atmosphere is warm and relaxed and I definitely felt welcome there.|The design of the hotel is also remarkable and contributes to the overall positive experience.|About the location (location, location): the hotel is situated in a vibrant and busy area, which might not be to everyone’s taste. Nonetheless, this also means that there are many shops open from early morning till late into the evening, 7 days a week. There are also many restaurants, cafes, and other commercial outlets nearby, which makes life very easy if you travel for business and do not have much time to waste looking for a cafe/shop/pharmacy that would be open early in the morning or after the usual office hours.|My plans are to stay at the Thon Bristol Stephanie every time I go to Brussels for work (which is once or twice a month, including some longer stays, up to two weeks) and am enthusiastically looking forward to my next stay and to seeing again all the wonderful people who work there!|TL;DR: Can highly recommend.
