Bristol Stephanie (Brussels, Belgium) 1 Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"This swish hotel is ideal for a peaceful break. Enjoying a prime real estate location on Avenue Louise, its spacious rooms sport a mixture of vintage and modern. We recommend the brasserie for a spot of fine dining. Why not try an “escape” room, to make your stay even more memorable?" - Tablet Hotels

The hotel is really good! It offers spacious and modern rooms, very tasty breakfast (with salmon every morning),comfortable and clean conference venue and the great staff, who is hard working and respectful (esp.guys during the breakfast time). I recommend this hotel fully, the only thing that is maybe not that perfect is that it is not that close to downtown..however there are plenty of stores and restaurants in their neighborhood.

We have made such a wonderful experience today at the Thon Hotel Bristol Stephanie.||We have checked in today evening and were so friendly welcomed by Brian and Philippe. As we had a very special request in order to make a surprise to a friend of us, they were so extremely sweet and helpful. They did everything and beyond to make this little project a full success! ||Its associates like them which make this hotel to something special. ||Once again to both gentlemen many thanks for your warmhearted service and support. You made some people very happy!||Best Regards|The Shah Familly

Excellent stay! Lovely hotel situated on a bustling street of shops and cafes/restaurants which was very handy! Also just a short walk to metro to Midi Station . Very warm welcome on arrival - really helpful and accommodating staff. Wonderful large room. Was just what we needed for the end of a long trip which ended in Brussels-very relaxing and would definitely return to this hotel if we visited Brussels again.

We only stayed for 2 nights. When we checked in we were told their systems were down so they had to process us manually. Next morning, after (a fairly good) breakfast and a long walk back to our room via the single lift to our 5th floor room we found our key card didn't work! So another long trek to reception who said 'ah yes, that's because we didn't take a security deposit from you at check-in' Unsatisfactory - they didn't say anything about it at check-in, which would have saved us a trek!! Then on the second day we left our room to check out (carrying our own luggage as there didn't seem to be a porterage service). we waited for 5 minutes for the single lift to arrive, and it transpired that maintenance was being done on the single lift. Fortunately a helpful chambermaid was on hand to contact management and arrange for the lift to made available to us (after another 5-10 minute wait) The room itself was large but fairly basic, although comfortable. We ate in the restaurant one night and the food was fine, though nothing special. Location was good on Avenue Louise. Staff were rather distant, though polite. The general vibe was of a business hotel although it wasn't very good at that either!

Nice hotel close to the metro Louise and half an hour walk to Grand Place. Got a free upgrade of the room, very nice. A really big comfortable room and everything was clean. Small fridge in the room, good. Breakfast was good as well, but nothing that you never saw before. Except for the fresh pressing orange juice machine. When checking in, you get a free welcome drink - thanks for that, guys! Service was banging on my door at half past eight, forgot to hang the DND card outside, of course my fault, but still quite aggressive.

This hotel was average. Location isn’t too bad from main attractions. Getting a taxi from the hotel wasn’t hard either. Check-in was fine however I was surprised there wasn’t assistance of our luggage to our rooms. Elevator is very small. We had interconnected rooms. We had to ask to have one of our bathrooms cleaned again as the toilet wasn’t cleaned throughly. Housekeeping arrived within reasonable time and was polite. Staff were kind, friendly. Breakfast buffet was average. Overall, it was just average.

The room itself is very spacious and nicely equipped. Hotel services were horrible every single time there was no one at reception so you either wait or you solve your own problem. Front desk staff were totally helpless, all of them were not willing to help at all time. I even got questioned about my issues, it’s ok if you can’t help or are not able to help, it’s really unnecessary to response with such attitude. I realised it’s a chained hotel company so hotel itself should reflect on its services and staff training. It does not match such level at all. Maybe it’s the few staffs at my period of staying that are terrible, it’s not acceptable. The elevator was also broken two days out of my three days stay, luckily I stayed on the 1/F. I DO NOT recommend this hotel to any tourist and travellers.

The room was very spacious, clean and with good amenities. It was good location. 25-30 minutes walk far from the train station and the downtown area. I will definitely stay here again. But be careful there was a theft in the lobby, when we were there.

Yelp
The staff here was very accommodating and helped us with restaurant suggestions on our arrival. The restaurant had a daily breakfast buffet that had an overwhelming selection of items but that didn't stop us from enjoying all that it had to offer! The room was well laid out, although it was on the small side. The terrace on the other hand was enormous!! There was a dining area along with a lounge area. We were a couple but we could have invited a group of 10 over and still had plenty of room. We were on the top floor (10th) and the view from the terrace was spectacular.

Yelp
Wonderful spot in a prime part of the city. Clean rooms, attentive staff, wonderful food and bar, all around very impressive for the price. I'm definitely going to return to this spot to stay in the future. They went above and beyond for all my requests and were very polite. I've spent 2 decades in customer service so this means a ton to me. Merci beaucoup!

Yelp
Nice hotel. Currently under remodel construction. The reception is on a table in a hallway due to lobby closure. They have a decent fitness center, small rooms to rent for private event. They have a bar and restaurant that offers room service. They do morning brunch. Service is great ... And if you have kids they send someone to the room between 1800 and 2000 to fold out the sofa bed for them. Rooms are nice, but the stairs or elevator are both very tiny. The hallway is very narrow. So if claustrophobic you may not like.

Yelp
Five stars for its location and the size of our room, which was a mini suite, really. The hotel is within walking distance of many luxury boutiques and charming eateries on Brussel's Avenue Louise. The lobby decor is fun and colorful. Where they lost a star is the service. Though the staff were kind, they were slow to respond to our requests for service, and our tray was left in the hallway outside our room for many hours. Still a very nice place, for the price and location.

Yelp
Centrally located hotel at Avenue Louise / Stephanie. Very spacious rooms, appealing design and an excellent breakfast buffet. The bar area is also nice for an after dinner drink. The hotel is very easily to reach by public transport. There are lots of good restaurants and exquisite shops around. Very good value for money (with a group rate).

Yelp
The Thon hotel has a great location for the price you pay compared to the Conrad and the Sofitel that are located within walking distance. The rooms are ok if you make a reservation on the second floor or above. Otherwise, the rooms by the back entrance are not as nice and the bathrooms are horrible. The tram is around 7 minutes walking distance from hotel and, there is a minimarket right across from the tram station. It has a nice little lobby and the restaurant-bar is nice.
