Another Great Stay at Thon Hotel Hammerfest||Thon Hotel Hammerfest consistently provides a wonderful experience with its excellent service and comfortable accommodations. A special thank you to ( Fay ) for her hospitality and for making my stay even better. The hotel’s central location offers easy access to key attractions, making it a convenient choice. This is not my first time staying here, and it certainly won’t be my last!

This hotel was a nice surprise - spacious room with seating area and view out over the harbour. USB points and very modern TV were also welcome. Shower was powerful - only slight down point was the toiletries provided didn't tempt me to use them and still come in single use plastic tubes. Parking is a bit tedious - only being free 17-8, outside of those hours you have to pay. Breakfast was best yet and delicious. Customer service was excellent too.

A nice very centrally located hotel. It is right on the main square so all the facilities of the town are close by and buses stop just opposite the entrance. I had a room overlooking the square so did not have any traffic noise. The bed was very comfortable. There was also a fridge, and a kettle with tea and coffee in the room as well as tea and coffee available for free in reception. A little warm inside at times (I don't think there is air conditioning, but a fan had been provided) but opening the window for an hour or two before bed cooled the room down enough to be comfortable so was not a problem. The breakfast is also very good.||The negative points are that the breakfast room is far too small. The hotel has over 100 rooms, yet the breakfast room has only about 20 tables, so I had to give up and come back later as there was nowhere to sit as all the tables were taken. Maybe you could take food to the bar area on the ground floor to eat instead (the breakfast room is on the floor above) though I didn't ask about doing that. There is also a very limited choice of places to eat in Hammerfest in the evening so I do think the hotel would benefit from a restaurant in the evening, I was surprised it didn't have one.

I recently stayed at Thon Hotel and had a wonderful experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, ensuring a smooth check-in process. The hotel itself is modern, clean, and well-maintained, with a stylish decor that creates a relaxing atmosphere.

Reception needs training on customer service.|On my first day, there were 2 girls at the reception but no one greeted me. I took the initiative to say hello... same goes for the rest of my stay. They don't say hello or god morgen... they have no eye contact with customers coming through the reception.|I checked in thursday, so on saturday i left the door sign to clean my room. When i came back, the bed was not made, the facial tissue in the bathroom was not replaced ( it was empty), and floor was not cleaned.||The positive things about this hotel are: central location, good breakfast and 2 coffee machines at the lobby.

Very good hotel. Room was big enough, clean, modern, fully equipped with a great view over marina - 7th floor. Location is great - close to the everything, in the heart of the city. Food - simply delicious. They served even prosecco for dinner.

Poor unstabil wifi regarding streaming on the room tv.😢😢😢|When you connect to the chromecast , it will often throw you of...|.............|............................................................................................

The hotel is well located in downtown Hammerfest. All in walking distance except the Hurtigruten-Terminal and the Meridian Statue which are located on the opposite side of the lagune. |The staff is super friendly no matter whether at the front desk or in the breakfast room. |Our rooms was very clean, big, and did provide everything to enjoy every minute of our stay.
