My rating would actually probably be a 3.5 if that were possible. During a month long trek through Europe, this has been the most "corporate" of the hotels. It is very large, clean, modern, has a decently populated bar, and the staff was friendly and professional, without going above and beyond. The room I had was exceptionally small (it was essentially a twin bed and a bathroom), which likely accounts for why I'm not giving this 4 stars. It's the smallest room, by far, of any that I've stayed in. It also, however, accounts for why the price was very reasonable (especially for a city that has a reputation for being very expensive).
The location was nice. It's very close to the water, right next to the Opera House, a couple blocks from the city center with numerous bars/restaurants, and within walking distance (20 minutes or less) of many of the Oslo sights that aren't on the bygdoy side (the Akershus Fortress, the Munch Museum, the Natural History Museum/Botanical Gardens, etc).
Overall, I would recommend it, especially for the price. I put a premium on the quality/size of the room, however, and this left a lot to be desired (although it was clean). So, I can't quite give it 4 or 5 stars.
