Thon Hotel Tønsberg Brygge

I recently stayed for one night with my husband and daughter. We booked a suite and this was very spacious, with lovely views of the fjord. The room was clean and had lots of amenities. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good with a great selection. The location of the hotel is excellent.

Really nice charming hotel with perfect location by the sea. Nice room with everything you need. Good bed, coffee in room and good tv. Shower good and nice soaps. Everything super clean. ||Staff excellent in all ways. Welcoming, smiling and polite. |Breakfast lovely with a sea view included. ||Cant go wrong here, best in town for sure.

Double bed but they give only a single duvet. Only gave one towel in the room, kettle but no cups, disappointing given the location

Great place to stay in the middle of the harbour in Tønsberg. Decent priced rooms with very nice service and a fantastic breakfast. Immediate proximity of many restaurants on the docks

Our stay was a brief overnighter travelling between Oslo Torp & Geilo. The old Viking city of Tonsberg appealed to us as an attractive stop off & the Thon appeared to be the best hotel in town.|It has a pleasant quayside location, though only a handful of bedrooms benefit from this outlook. The Thon served our purpose well, there is on-site parking (chargeable) & an array of restaurants & bars within close walking proximity. I’d liken it to a Premier Inn in terms of quality & decor. The lobby/reception/dining room are all encompassed within a ground floor open plan space, this area is brightly lit & rather sterile. I don’t think much was spent on interior decor advice! Our bedroom was functional & compact (as expected) & we overlooked the car park from its one small window. But the bed was very comfortable & sound proofing top notch, our little cell a haven of tranquility. The breakfast buffet was varied, tasty & served till a very agreeable 11am. Waiting staff & the reception team were all delightful, with excellent English skills. Overall, this was a good value stay & the hotel hit the spot for a brief overnighter.

Stayed two nights whilst visiting area on business. ||Really friendly staff, nice modern rooms, spotlessly clean, free coffee in reception & fresh selection for breakfast. ||Lovely location too for spectacular views & selection of bars & restaurants 2 to 5|Mins walk away along the promenade

Very friendly lady at the counter. The window of the first room I got could not be opened. I told the lady that I can´t stand it and she changed it. Nevertheless the next room was also quite dark because the window was close to a wall. The room was very clean, breakfast was very good. The room rate is not low.

It was my second time staying at the Thon hotel in Tønsberg, and I cannot recommend it enough! The rooms are cozy and beautiful, and you’ll find all necessities. The staff is also super lovely.||||What I love the most and what makes the hotel so special is the amazing breakfast. It’s so delicious it’s not even funny! I dream about it.||||The mobile check-in is super convenient.||||Thank you Thon hotel Tønsberg you have my heart!
