Thongs Beach Cafe

Wonderful breakfast spot just feet from the water. Walk along the beach and turn in for some delicious food. The special today was migas. Tortilla chips, scrambled eggs, cheese, and some vegetables. Outstanding! Kind of like chiliquilies. You can get them regular or spicy, get spicy. The fry jacks are super puffy, light and tasty. Don't skip the sausage links.

My husband and I stopped in here for a quick lunch while in Hopkins and were not disappointed! The view of the beach was beautiful, the service was quick and friendly and the food was delicious! I had an iced mocha that was perfectly made and a chicken sandwich with mango chutney on nice fresh bread. My husband ordered a turkey sandwich with kimchi, which the waitress warned him would bring flys around because of the smell of the kimchi and she wasn’t kidding! He ate quickly because of that, but said it was delicious and worth bringing the flys around. I also tried a papaya chocolate chip oatmeal cookie that was very good. All of their breakfast options also sounded very good!

My home away from home is Hopkins. Every time I go there, I dine at least once or twice a week at Thongs. Tatiana and her team are wonderful, the food always fresh and delicious, and the variety of options is extensive! On top of that, the setting and view are magnificent! I love this place!

Every meal we have had at Thong’s has been outstanding. Sylvia and Mileny always provide excellent service. The atmosphere on the beach is well, Hopkins, the hidden jewel. Beach, an ocean view and a breeze. What more can you ask for? The real draw is the food. Thongs has a wonderful menu. They bake their own bread and is shows, delicious! Good portion sizes and reasonable prices. They also bake gluten free bread for your celiac family members so they don’t feel left out!!!!

Awesome location right on the beach! The food was so good everybody loved everything they got. So one day I got the pancakes and fruit. And then another day I got the avocado toast. And it was so good! My one friend got a smoothie and then it was so good. She got another one that same day! And the second time we ate there, the electricity was out, but they were still open cooking food. It was great! We just couldn’t have any smoothies. :)

Great breakfast, quick service, and for excellent prices. Beautiful view. Large menu with great smoothie options. They also have daily specials.

Super friendly staff and lovely environment with ocean views. Food and drink was incredible- Belizian Breakfast- Fry Jacks cooked crispy and fluffy with savory beans, crispy bacon and eggs. 5/5 Tamarind & Ginger Juice- I love trying new things and I’m so glad I did. Sweet yet tart with the ginger notes later makes this such a refreshing drink. You won’t be disappointed. Latte- I don’t drink coffee but the wifey said this was the best coffee she’s had so far in Belize. Gluten Free Blueberry pancakes- made with buckwheat. They were good with the cane sugar syrup 🐿️ Overall a must stop by place…we will be back!
