Thor Espresso Bar

My half-sweet vanilla latte was perfect, cheddar chive biscuit delightful. Thor serves up Pilot coffee in a quaint corner shop. Minimalist is an understatement; the menu is handwritten on a piece of scrap paper by the cash. There are 4 chairs and a handful of bar seats along the window. But what this place lacks in furniture and seating is made up for in excellent coffee, friendly staff, and a beautiful mural behind the counter.

Loved everything about this place. Cool interior design, friendly staff and most importantly, awesome coffee!

How can you NOT love an espresso cafe spot named after Thor!!!! After all these years it still retains its charm. Today I got a flat white and did some mobile gaming as the locals popped in for their caffeine kicks and my skin was sun kissed by the window. Don't sleep on this gem. The need in me challenges you to take a sip of this array of Java beverages and if you are worthy...you too will be powered by THOR 🧐👍🏼⚡⚡⚡⚡🤘🏼😄😄

Was excited to try out a higher end espresso bar in the city to compare with coffee I make at home. Barista put my espresso into paper cups instead of into a proper espresso Cup that was available and I had asked for it. Espresso was ok, but these guys have a SLAYER machine and the barista didn't even know how to use it. These machines are legendary for their pressure profiling and they're simply not using it to its full potential. The espresso was a little on the bright/acidic side of the spectrum.I also had a latte, which I asked for in one of their mugs. They have the mugs on top of the machine, and nice ones, designed for latte art, by notneutral, and even after I asked, the barista put it into a paper cup.... MMM paper flavor. Barista said she didn't know how to do latte art in anything but paper cups. Coffee was better than Starbucks but I won't be coming back.

Had an excellent cup of coffee here! Fast service and good options. Seating area outside is great for enjoying a drink and watching the world go by. Small interior but great for getting a coffee on the go.

Always on point with their espresso shots. Staff is pleasant and eager to serve you some delicious espresso based drinks. The patio is a great place to chill when the weather is nice.

Great cold brew, that's all I ask from an espresso bar...and, a great outside seating area.

One of the best coffees in the city - whether an espresso, cappuccino, flat white...etc... they are all outstanding. The staff are always helpful and the cafe is always kept very clean (I wish more cafes did the same). The indoor seating isn't the best, but the coffees and the patio outside more than make up for that. We have friends who swear by this place, coming from all parts of the city. Overall a fantastic place to get your coffee fix!
