Beautiful setting in the woods. You can bring a picnic and enjoy before the show in the meadow. They have a bar at the seating area. Bring cushions or festival chairs for more comfort as the amphitheater seating is wood.

A beautifully intimate open air woodland theatre. We went to see Lou Saunders and Jeff Innocent whose sets were on point, accurate and super funny. The warm up / MC was a very funny fella too. The venue itself was happily free from mosquitos and set just off the A12 near leiston was a peaceful and serene place to be and we had a brilliant evening. The bar was stocked with tea, coffee ( milk and oat milk ), beer , cider and wine. Crisps seemed to be the nibble of choice. The staff were professional, friendly and did a great job. It made for a lovely experience and we'll be going again to see more comedy or perhaps a play.

A fantastic evening's entertainment in the forest theatre. On seeing the poster at the Heathside campsite on arrival, we followed the footpaths straight to Thorington Theatre where we were warmly greeted and seated. The talented actors sang to us as the theater began to fill. They were excellent storytellers using the whole auditorium and the audience alike. Well worth a visit.

Superb theatre in the woods. So relaxed and welcoming - amazing atmosphere. Well worth a visit. Definitely take a cushion and something warmer for the evenings. Try the ice lollies too - very tasty interval snack. Toilets are very eco friendly. It was nice to see dogs welcome. Will be sure to return - thank you for having us!

Fabulous afternoon watching a very enjoyable rendition of A Midsummer Night's Dream. This is my first visit to this venue and it is a delightful experience sitting on a wooden amphitheatre amongst the trees. If I wasn't here for the play, I would happily sit here with a book and a cold drink and just enjoy the ambience. I would recommend the back rests that are available to hire (£2.50 each) it will make sitting through a two hour performance much easier to bear! The range of refreshments were decent, the quality excellent, especially the ice lollies made in Suffolk (Lickety Ice). The staff were all round excellent and thank you to them for letting my elderly great-aunt take her seat earlier than they usually allow the public in, we appreciate your flexibility. We will return again for hopefully another fabulous afternoon!

Brilliant, magical, unique. We song along with the Hee He Haws, complete entertainment at its best.
