Fantastic tap room! We got a couple of tasting paddles to work out our favs - Crux & Heff 😋 The pizzas were delicious too, and good value. Highly recommend a visit! Lots of seating inside & out. Dog friendly 🐾

I’ve been drinking the signature Jaipur IPA in my local for a while now, really enjoyable pint, so couldn’t wait to see what else Thornbridge had to offer! Great Taproom, popular selection of IPAs, larger and stouts, really like the idea of picking 3 tasters, allowing you to sample the range and go back to what you like. When you add the addition of a fresh cooked stone baked pizza, you won’t want to leave anytime soon. Parking available although you do have to register, and is also dog friendly - another bonus !

This is my husbands favourite brewery and has a subscription from them so knowing we were on holiday nearby I knew the brewery tour would make the perfect gift. The tour consisted of a film about the how the brewery started , then a talk about the equipment and followed with six taster beers which I enjoyed even though I'm not a big beer lover. Happy husband = happy wife.

Great selection of beers and pizza. Order at the bar, and they deliver pizzas to your table. Everything was delicious and relatively quick. Great selection of seating and good signage. The kind of place to sit and enjoy both your drink and company opposed to rush off. Excellent choice for food and drink.

Positives: The beer that was available was of good quality and the prices are reasonable. The pizza is tasty. Nicely decorated taproom. Good cask beer options. Negatives: The beer selection is not very broad. Multiple IPAs, lagers, a stout, a wheat beer and a cider. No fruited beers, no sour beers, not even available in the on site shop for those that only enjoy this type of beer as one of our members visiting was. Reserved tables, whilst I understand that a Saturday afternoon would be busy, there are instances where we'd be on a table that wasn't reserved, to then have a reservation notice put on the table. This means you end up moving around the taproom, if you're lucky finding a non-reserved table and having to clear the previous occupants empty glasses and plates, to then repeat this a little while later. I may just have been unlucky, but the bar staff didn't seem very friendly or enthusiastic about the beer that they are serving. I appreciate that, again, they were busy, but it very much just felt like 'we just work here' as opposed to having any sort of passion about the beer that they were serving. I was at the taproom 2 years ago and thoroughly enjoyed it, their beer selection was more varied in terms of styles, so perhaps with Thornbridge Brewery ever growing in popularity they are brewing for the taste of the masses and not serving these niche beers as they have done in the past in the taproom, a shame but understandable. Still worth a visit if you're in the area, the beer they did have was very good, but book a table.

Really great vibe here! Interesting venue and great space. The beers are as good as you'd expect from an award winning Brewery like Thornbridge, great selection of their classics and also specials. We tried the pizza too and considering this is a Brewery not a pizzeria I was very impressed! Absolutely spot on 10/10

Great space with ample seating room outside and in - nice pizzas to go alongside the hyper local beers (you can see the brewing vats from the seating area). Highly recommended

Good break on a travelling day between two holidays destinations. Not to busy on a friday lunchtime. Had 2 tasting flyers with nice beers. Afterwards lucky the door behind the taproom was open and had a good look at the Union, very interesting after the maltmiller YT.

Yelp
Beer is fantastic, love the atmosphere, and the people helping us were nice. It's a big warehouse style arrangement with picnic tables that spill from inside to outside. There is lots and lots of seating but the place is also popular; we went once where it was hard to get seating and once when we had our pick of anywhere, so I guess on balance you might want to call ahead and reserve a table if you know you when you want to be there but also don't hesitate to just drop in on a whim. Oh, super pizza too!

Yelp
Disappointed that our group was told to move from our inside seating location as it had been reserved after we were told no need to reserve our spot after we say down. It to make matters worst we were told by the Thornbridge that it is not their responsibility to find us another seat - if we come in next time, we will just look for the unreserved seats and kick someone out

Yelp
Hello potential 6 star review and hello a place I wish I could spend every Weds afternoon (if only my Euromillions would come in one day!) I love Thornbridge beers and with Manchester being fairly close to Buxton we really are lucky to get a lot of their varied beers in loads of different pubs around the area. Having attended their meet the brewer recently at Volta in Didsbury I was determined to go on the brewery tour while I was holidaying in nearby Tideswell. As they only do the brewery tour on a Weds it was by luck rather than judgement that I could make this and hopefully they'll start doing the tour at weekends in future so my pals can enjoy it too! The tour has limited places and is always busy so I called up a month in advance to book (it's £7.50 but you do get to pay on the day) and when we arrived on the industrial estate 10 mins walk from Buxton town centre we were greeted with a half of our choice of 4 Thornbridge beers they had on while perusing their pretty awesome shop selling a fantastic range of beers, merchandise and random awesome beer related goodies (I bought some fantastic Thornbridge / Sierra Nevada collaborations) We were taken on the tour by James (who actually did their meet the brewer a few weeks earlier) and he was knowledgable, funny and on the money with the crowd he had. A 40 mins tour of the brewery from 3.15pm had us shown around their state of the art facility, labs, bottling and kegging plant while also being able to breathe in deeply in their huge hops supply (amazing) - and then we were shown their secret project warehouse which was fully of rioja and sherry barrels which are going to be used for some very special (Brewdog Abstrakt style) beers coming your way soon! Once getting back into the main bar and reception we were then pretty much given free reign to drink as much free beer as we wanted (I'm sure there's a limit but we hadn't reached it...) before they lock the doors at 5pm! Put it this way we enjoyed some damn fine Jaipur (the best I've ever had), Raven, Tzara and a special edition called Desert Sessions. A bloody good 2 hours and I'd definitely do it again if I'm down this way again!
