"This dreamy golf course in Bulgaria sits on the edge of a cliff looking out at the Black Sea. Conceptualized by Gary Player, the 85-hectare design is popular for the sixth hole, which boasts a wide view of the ocean."

5 stars?! Barely 1. There are cockroaches in the room /kitchen, spiders on the bed, everything is an extra cost (yes, even the dirty mattresses on the beach), the restaurants are outrageously priced for average quality food (at best), the extendable couch / 2nd bed is a joke, just terrible service anywhere you go, and the list goes on.

better stay home than go here. I wouldn't go even for free! I'm sorry I ruined my vacation. The employees don't deserve even a euro of salary. Arrogant, insensitive, and without a minimum of common sense.

Golf is amazing, had a wonderful time with the instructor who is the best I’ve ever had! Hotel, service, pricing and business model is terrible… Dissapoonting, stressful, unpleasant… seams the management has no idea whats doing. Just an example, they advertise private beach, you go there and you pay to stay there, even tho u are a guest there, than u wait 30min so they bring u the menu and another 1h for food. Crazy, and thats everywhere…

The place is easy to access from Romania, either from Vama Veche or Negru Vodă. The majority of tourists are Romanians. Pro: great view, cozy beach, good food, good spa (sauna), very nice rooms. Cons: the services are expensive (restaurant, beach umbrella, massage, grocery store inside the complex). The beach is a bit far and can be reached only by golf carts of the hotel; they are free but you need to wait for it. There is a Lidl 10 minutes away by car where you can buy more.

Right now i have ants in my room . The service is a dissapointment last night i went to the restaurant that u take breakfast where a waiter told us that one of my friends dosen’t seem there . Extremely overpriced at the reception they told us to pay 100 Euros for nothing . the beach’s lifeguard’s dosen’t really Keeps the place safe when its yellow you have to be aware of the waves and water he only needs to look when the flag its red and yellow . The drivers are the only ones that put the guest in first place . My expectations were higher. I am disappointed.

This seems like it's a struggling resort that might have been great at some point. When I checked in to the hotel, reception couldn't find my reservation. Apparently my request to move my stay up by one day was never actually processed after it was confirmed. When I inquired about it the next day the reservation manager said he made a mistake and moved it back to the original dates. What? I was at least moved into a beautiful two-bedroom suite, but it was not in the location I had booked for. Dining doesn't open at stated hours. The clubhouse is supposed to open at 10 am but they didn't bother to open it up until just before 2 pm today. There's no other options in the area aside from Geti, which I have no interest in spending €50++ for lunch so I was left with no lunch options at all. When I went into Reception early in the morning to ask about breakfast hours the clerk was fast asleep on the couch. For all of this maladministration, the original reservation manager offered to leave me a bottle of wine in my room. After my last round of golf I went back to find a BOTTLE OF TWO-BUCK CHUCK ROSÉ! There is no heterosexual 30-something male that drinks rosé, and frankly I would have rather them forgotten about this than leave such an insulting bottle of wine.

A true gem tucked away on Bulgaria’s northern Black Sea coast. Thracian Cliffs offers breathtaking views, world-class golf, and a serene beach experience unlike any other. The dramatic cliffside setting, exceptional service, and luxurious accommodations make it feel like a hidden paradise. Perfect for both relaxation and adventure—an unforgettable escape.

First things first, the golf course is incredible. It is kept in fantastic condition, and has amazing sea views on every hole. It is also very challenging so do not expect to play to your handicap. In terms of the hotel, the rooms and facilities were great, but the food and drink prices do leave a bitter taste in the mouth. Considering that 10 minutes up the road you can get a full on meal with starters and drinks for less than £20 a head, charging £5 for a small beer at the hotel does not seem appropriate.
