Delicious fresh food with a farm to table concept. Lots of delicious things to try but you need to come in a group and share the food to get the best experience. The menu changes up quickly so you can come back and enjoy over and over! Drink menu is tasty with lots of local breweries and innovative cocktails

The food was delicious!! We tried the charcuterie board and bread, endive salad, hot sauce Korea wings, brussel sprouts, the pork and chicken liver bomb. All so good! The only thing that wasn't that good were the cabbage rolls. I guess I was the traditional tomato sauce cabbage rolls. Everything else I would order again. The food is more for sharing be cause of the smaller plates. I enjoyed it and would recommend Three Boars Eatery to anyone!! Happy hour is from 5pm to 6pm!!

My first time coming here was a year ago, and I came back this past weekend to celebrate my anniversary because we remembered it being such a lovely food and date experience. It's funny because this place is a little hole in the wall, just off Whyte. You'd never notice it if you really weren't looking for it! It feels like a home turned into a restaurant. Everything is mis-matched - eclectic with old and new-age inspirations - but cozy and feels "lived-in" like the place you grew up in. Last night my boyfriend's drink of choice was the Brewvardier. It came in a cute little tea cup (read the explanation on the menu haha!) I had a sip and it was quite strong for my taste, but he seemed to enjoy it, as a person with a more mature taste to a range of hard liquors. I had water. Boring, I know, but boy did I need it. For dinner we shared 5 items: 1. Smoked Olives. I've never had smoked olives before! It was a little too salty to be eaten alone, but I can definitely appreciate the classiness of this dish. A cute add to our order! 2. Pork and Chicken Liver Bomb. We had this last year and couldn't go without having it again. It was amazing. Probably the best dish on the menu! I remember how amazing it tasted and I'm happy to report that they have definitely perfected this dish. Hands down, 5 stars. Hot on the inside, crispy shell on the outside, and just the right amount of honey mustard. I'm getting hungry just thinking about it! 3. Filipino Pork Bun. Being Filipino, I feel like I can be more critical of this dish - 2 and a half stars, sorry. It was warm and freshly made, but unfortunately it was way too salty. The act of putting ground meat and potatoes inside a bun is definitely what makes it "Filipino", but the bun wasn't quite right. It should've been softer, and a tad sweeter, and the mayonnaise shouldn't come with the dish. That must've been their Western spin and a helping for a dry bun. Meh. 4. Braised Beef Chuck Flat. Yes, yes, yes! Do NOT come here without ordering this dish! The beef was amazing! Tender and cooked well.. Plus the greens, and beets in all their forms were excellent! The only thing I wasn't a big fan of were the oats. It didn't take away from the dish but it definitely could've gone without it. And plus, it's like giving seniors food to a grown man, and feeding pigeons instead of swans, you know what I mean? Anyway, 5 stars on this dish! Excellent! 5. 8oz Pork Loin Chop. Probably the most disappointing of them all. This dish was much too busy. Too sweet with all of the maple butter sauce, the pistachios were drenched, the brussel sprouts no longer tasted like brussel sprouts and the pear slices were too big, and again all too sweet. It really is too bad because the meat looked like it was cooked well, but it was difficult to enjoy. We chowed down on it because it's an expensive dish, but unfortunately we would not get it again (or recommend it). Last year this place would've been a close 5 stars, but this year just wasn't the same. The wait times were long, the server's knowledge of the dishes were lacking, and it just didn't do it for us this year. Funny because for such a lovely setting, they play pretty hardcore rap music (don't get us wrong, we love rap music and we were even singing to some of them) but a bit off on the setting tonight. It's kind of like when your annoying little brother is playing his music too loud in his bedroom when you're trying to talk to your friends on the phone. Yes, like that. Who knows though, maybe I'll come back next year and try again.

Awesome staff, good food, amazing cocktails. Menu changes frequently, highlighting seasonality. Sat upstairs and loved the atmosphere - intimate but lively, and great deco amplifying the theme of the restaurant. Food highlights were the Panzenella salad and PB&J wings! A couple dishes, the pork pancake in particular, were a little heavy. Great night, highly recommend. Grab a group of friends or a date and get ready to share!

Worked my way backwards by falling for Farrow before even thinking of trying the house next door. With my frequent visits to Farrow, I never thought to even think of looking next door. With the culture of small plates growing more and more popular in the food scene, Three Boars is no stranger to that fact, with continuous praise and recognition since opening their doors, they have built a cult following from foodies and locals that come not only for the food but for the name it's built for itself. This quaint little space is situated on 109st. Walking through the doors, you enter into the entrance where you're immediately welcomed by friendly faces. With bar seating on the main level and stairs that lead into the dining room. It's by far the most intimate restaurant I've been to. The dining room is split into two separate rooms, perfect for small group gatherings if needed. Service was pretty casual, he was in and out to check up on us, very passionate about the food as you can tell once we asked for recommendations and suggestions. He kept his distance which was much appreciated and expected as the atmosphere was really the "winding down- have a conversation" kind of place. (Dinner experience was a while back the only thing left that's still available to order is this!) Mushroom And Toast ($13) 5/5 Simplest dish ever but the execution was beyond impeccable. I'm salivating as I write this and it's entirely all thanks to the mushrooms. The yolk mixed with the mushrooms on top of this baguette was life. Must Order. From the first to last bite, you will be able to taste the care and thought that goes into each dish. I really enjoyed how versatile the atmosphere was and how cozy and calm the night went. Would I come again? Absolutely. My most recent visit has been for their Schnitzel Sammy that's only available Sunday and Monday night, I believe from 10pm to 1am. Not on their actual menu, I heard about the sandwich via- Instagram, once we sat down and ordered the sandwich Corbin knew exactly what we were talking about. Unlike the dining room, the bar downstairs is open and lively. We got lucky this visit by coming to a more toned down night. We tried coming for the sandwich twice actually and for both visits the bar was jam packed full of people. Unlike tonight, we got to experience how nice and cozy the bar area was! Schnitzel Sandwich - ($8) - The McChicken, reinvented. Made with pork, breaded and deep fried into a thin crispy glorious disc, sandwiched between a brioche bun with the standard lettuce pickles and standard American cheese. What makes this sandwich their own is the tangy sauce that goes along with it. Great late night snack!

Food was tasty (although not quite my style) but it was still good and glad we tried it out. Service and hospitality was friendly.

I don't think deep dish is really my speed, but I enjoyed High Dough by Three Boars' take on the Detroit style pie. It's a little much to handle after 1 or 2 slices, at least for me, but they are an enjoyable 1 or 2 slices with a pleasantly caramelized cheesy exterior, crispy crust, and fresh dough. The cheese is a bit too salty for me, but the garnishes/spices are a nice touch. High Dough also offers several other very interesting pizza flavours, including donair and Korean style -- definitely going to be worth checking out. As for the baseline cheese pie -- it's good, but nothing I'll crave. Regardless, if anything good has come out of this COVID mess, it's that Three Boars is now making pizza!!
