Giving this 3 stars because I think it really depends what you order. The price point made sense for the chicken tenders (which are actually two giant breasts), but some of the people I were with got small portions with not so great flavors for their orders. Also all of our beers/ciders were a bit warm which was odd. I really liked my food but the portion was so big I fed it to the other people I was with since theirs was small and they were still hungry. It seems like this owner has nearly a whole block with different restaurants under the same name-so if you’re reading this before going that’s why there is more than one place listed online.

I drive down from Hesperus weekly and enjoy lunch at TRB . Usually I order the chicken fried steak, which is delicious. They have two options for the gravy, cream or green chili cream…. They should make a veal schnitzel this way. OMG delicious. Today I ordered the green chili lasagna. This needs a zip code. So good! And Story is a wonderful waitress. Kitchen rocks too!

Nice authentic "drug store" bar with all the old wild west vibes. The service is wonderful. And most of all the food was incredible. I had a turkey hatch Albuquerque sandwich, which is the right combination of spicy and smoked turkey and with truffle fries. We also had a ham and gouda sandwich in a sourdough toast, nicely spiced and buttered, with a side of roasted corn on the cob. You have to visit this place!

Google
My second time here. We stopped here two weeks ago for a carryout order. Everything was great. I couldn't decide on the posole or green chile stew, so I ordered a cup of both. I thought about them for two weeks! Coming back through, I ordered the same thing. It was even better in the restaurant. Our server both times was Kristen. She is a great server. Attentive, knowledgeable, accommodating, and just a great person to talk to after a long day of driving! She was able to recommend gluten-free options for my companion who enjoyed the half-cobb salad that was very fresh with great ranch. I probably won't be trying other restaurants here when I come through. The combination of great ambience (music not too loud, great interior), awesome service (Kristen), and truly amazing Southwest food makes this a go-to restaurant for me. Thank you Three Rivers!

Google
Our only regret was not getting the name of our waitress. Because she quite literally changed my husband’s lifelong disdain of bread pudding. He was hesitant. But in the end, he caved. And boy is he happy he did. Absolutely delicious! Not to take away though from the green chile chicken lasagne. Holy smokes! So, so good! And the sourdough bread was scrumptious as well! I opted for the Sky High IPA and he had the ‘Merica Pale Ale. We were both super happy with our decisions. So, great craft beer. Delicious lasagne. And a game changing bread pudding. Top that off with outstanding, friendly service and you’ve got yourself a gem. Don’t hesitate to stop in. You can thank me later!

Google
This place gets a five-star all day!! We had a nice waitress, the environment is pretty cozy and the food and beer are absolutely amazing!!! We had the raspberry and the honey beer.... Pot roast, chicken fried steak and truffle fries. You definitely won't leave here hungry

Google
Beautiful place. But absolutely the worse food I've had and the service was even worse. Ordered a build your own burger, the avocado i added for $1 was a joke, 2 of the smallest and thinest slices, paper thin. Fries were cold and hard. The service was absolutely horrible. One of our party ordered a simple salad and when all our food came out hers did not, the waiter ended up telling us that he forgot to input the salad and started to blame us for his mistake. We still wanted the salad, to which he replied it would take a while to get the salad. Do not understand why it would take so long for a simple salad to be made after he screwed up. The salad came out after the rest of us were done with our food. Worse service and screw up Another screw up is that our appetizers came out extremely late along side with our meals, so no time to have our appetizers before our meals. This is not how it should be. Will be the last time I ever eat here and will highly recommend to others to stay away The pictures attached is the joke of paper thin slices of avocado for the $1 charge

Our server Joanie was fantastic and always smiling. I had questions and she had no problem answering them. The food was definitely on point and will definitely be coming back to try more. Oh and I love the samples of beer! I was more companies did this! 5 stars all the way!

Yelp
First time in Farmington and this place was great!! We were looking for something different from the norm of chain restaurants. The ambience was intriguing. The server was polite and knowledgeable on the menu and gave great recommendations for beer and food. The menu was great, unique and classic with a twist. We ordered a Green Chile Lasagna, my thought was "enchilada" nope a very delicious Lasagna with spice. This place comes recommended by my Husband and I.

Yelp
We were traveling through town and it was late. We walked in and everybody was so kind from the beginning. Our waitress gave the best service we've had in a long time and was so friendly with the kids too! We found that there is a small play area for the kids and they loved it. It's not huge but there are some toys and a bunch of books. The kids loved it. The decor is very unique and adds a lot of ambiance. There were beer steins hanging from the ceiling and I thought it was so cute! I got a burger and my husband got the Roadrunner sandwich so we could share both of them. He got the habanero fries and I got the rosemary garlic fries. The burger was great: well seasoned, perfectly cooked, and very tasty. The roadrunner was good too. My husband really liked it. The steak was a little tough for my personal taste. The candied bacon was perfect. My son got the nachos. He's vegetarian and it's hard to find a good nacho option but he loved them. My giant and growing preteen couldn't finish the half order! That's really saying something. The portion was huge. My two toddlers shared the quesadilla with a side of guacamole and sour cream. My usually-very-picky kids both ate almost their entire half a quesadilla. My little one (who is 2) thought the guac and salsa were too spicy but it didn't matter to him much. We drive through here somewhat often and will probably be back even if it's only for the service!!

Yelp
Pretty solid place to eat. TLDR the reuben, fries, and apple cobbler are all good. Reuben was pretty good. They really stuff it too! Also stole some fries from my dad's plate, and they were crisp on the outside. Imo that's a sign of good food, if the fries are actually crispy. Got corn on the side bc I thought it'd be the kernels, not the whole cob. I like cobs if I'm at a BBQ or something, but if I'm at a restaurant, I just wanna enjoy myself and eat some easy kernels. Apple cobbler w/ ice cream was great. Chocolate cola cake is big, and I couldn't really taste any cola, but still pretty good. Cream soda was amazing, as it always is. Waitress was really nice, and ambiance is pretty characteristic of a local brewery.

Yelp
Walked through town bc we needed to find a place to eat for dinner. Stumbled upon this place. Employees are nice and food smelled good. Gets pretty busy at 6pm on a Saturday. We ordered food to go. Caesar salads and 16" pepperoni, black olives, and onion pizza. Took the food back to the hotel and had our salads, which came w parmesan cheese and dressing in little containers on the side. The pizza was another story. We have been trying to figure how in the word "onions" was misheard. Instead of the onions we ended up w pine nuts. (Head smack) Should have checked our food before walking out the door. I don't particularly like pine nuts so I ended up scraping them off. The pizza was tasty and somewhat spicy. Loads if pepperoni and olives. Crust was a but burned, but was still edible. After all the excitement of watching and photographing the eclipse, I was pretty famished so ate what I could get. Would I return? Maybe (husband didn't care for the food too much). But if we do return, we will be sure to check the food items before walking out the door.

Yelp
Service was exceptional. Looks like return employees who have good knowledge of the menu and history. The chicken dried steak was a very large dish perfect for two. We split the dull Cobb salad and full streak dinner. They were out of the Mexican lager, which was a bummer, but their other beers were a good selection as well. The 3 rivers bar was out of 3 of the beers, so we left. Also because we were never greeted. I preferred the restaurant side.

Yelp
Three Rivers definitely surprised me with how amazing their chicken fried steak was. It was tender, not grisly, and the batter was perfect. It was light and crunchy. They had several house specials one of which was the prime rib. A few tables order that and it looked hearty and delicious. The staff was friendly and attentive.
google avatar

Yelp
I have gone to Three Rivers for lunch and dinner several times in past year. Recently, when we showed up for lunch, we found out they have started a lunch menu and a dinner menu (it used to be one menu for both meals). It was nice to see pricing for lunch a little more affordable. This time I ordered the half portion of fish and chips, which was delicious. I also ordered a house salad so that I wasn't eating all fried food. it was all very delicious. My partner ordered the chicken salad with cranberries (or other berries?) and it was pretty tasty. I ordered the IPA and it was delicious. Our server was friendly, didn't bother us too much, but checked on us often enough. it is usually busy in the brewery but we were seated right away in a booth. Everyone is friendly.

Yelp
I had a nice dinner while staying in Farmington on business. I ordered the salmon and it was tasty and a decent size. It also ordered a side salad that was also nice but difficult to eat without spilling due to the size of the bowl. The waitress was pleasant and checked in on me a few times. The ambiance is unique and well maintained.

Yelp
This place is a gem. We stop whenever we're going through the area, even planning our departures to hit Farmington at the right time for lunch or dinner. It's an old pharmacy and has a wonderful feel. The wait staff are friendly and efficient, and we've had a good time speaking with the owner from time to time. The food great. I keep having the green chili cheeseburger because it's so good. My gf appreciates the vegetarian options. What's not to like?

Yelp
We had a great experience at three Rivers brewery yesterday it was towards the end of our ride of 300 miles sat down. Had some delicious food service was awesome if I didn't live in Arizona I'd probably go there more often and a very cool place inside.

Lori G.

Yelp
I ate the Albuquerque Turkey sandwich and it was delicious. Thank you TRB The food was very fresh and the place had a pleasant environment.

Yelp
Ribs were dry (don't recommend) but the chicken fried steak (get it with the gravy!) And fish and chips were EXCEPTIONAL! AMAZING service!
google avatar

ErUta N.

Yelp
The food was amazing - I had a chicken fried steak which I normally wouldn't do but felt it would turn out well. My partner had hatch Chile lasagna which was good too, but omg the scalloped potatoes side dish. I'd just order multiple sides of that. Got a pint of a solid stout for $4 (or two) too. Funky fun interior and service was friendly.

Yelp
They don't like the fact that they have a Special Child there for their birthday. They disrespected them and wanted them to leave as soon as possible. I was so hurt but I took my nephew out of that place.
google avatar

Melissa B.

Yelp
Amazing BBQ sauce with our burger Ruben was perfect! Beers is always great- only complaint was that they were out of their cider

Yelp
A colleague and I stopped by here for a late lunch/early dinner. It's a nice rustic bar atmosphere with dinning. I like the simplicity of the menu, short and sweet all comfort food items that all looked pretty good. My colleague got the chicken fried steak half order. It was pretty large and he is glad he just got the half order. He said it was very good especially the buttered mashed potatoes I had the open face bomb with my egg over easy with a side of their rosemary garlic fries. The open face was pretty good but the garlic rosemary fries were delicious!!! If your looking for some comfort food and some pretty good beer, ya got to try this place out.

Wendi N.

Yelp
The food was mediocre at best. Our server was rude. Right after we were seated, he came by for our food order. When we asked for a few minutes, he literally groaned and walked off. 15 minutes later I had to ask someone to send him over. We both ordered the quarter pound burger and they were cooked beyond recognition. They were also served cold with cold fries.

Don W.

Yelp
Excellent Food and atmosphere Tonya always does an excellent job Highly recommend trying them. And my mom worked there in 1945 when it was Farmington Drug

Cindy D.

Yelp
There is something magical about this place! Every time we come through town which isn't often enough, we have the greatest experience here! They do Coconut craft brews like no other brewery we've ever been to (and that's a LOT!). The service, every beer, everything is just spot on each time. Thank you 3Barrels.
google avatar

Brian R.

Yelp
Great food, great service, good for the kids too. Only slightly negative part was that the bathrooms were accessible via a dark hallway.
google avatar

Ann L.

Yelp
We really liked the food here. That had a very cool ambiance retaining the old drugstore that the building originally was. Their beer was very good, the highlight was one of the best burgers I've had in ages. They grind the meat there. The cheeses and sauces for the burgers were great, everything freshly made. We went back the following night and had Fish & Chips and smoked dry rubbed wings. All delicious. Service fast and friendly. If we lived nearby we'd be here all the time!

Yelp
What a great find in downtown Farmington. I'm from the Q and don't visit Farmington too often. Now when I do, I have a great place to visit for lunch, I had their green chile stew and asked for some grilled garlic bread on the side (they willingly provided, it is served with their green chile lasagna). The stew was super tasty and especially hot (both temperature and spice) on my visit. My husband had the fish and chips. He said they were great! The restaurant/brewery is huge! We were only in the second room. So many interesting artifacts to look at while waiting for your good. Great staff!
google avatar

Yelp
I love the atmosphere in this place! The service is really great and the food is consistently good. It's definitely a go-to place in Farmington!

Yelp
Nasty! Traveling through and found this location on Yelp. It was rated high but seriously we will not be back. The young waitress that waited on us was super friendly and kind. The problem was the swarms of flies inside. I am talking what looked like hundreds. You can see them very clearly towards evening when the light coming in the windows highlight them. I never had one land on the table so that tells me they have a lot of food in the kitchen to thrive on. Food scraps, spills, or waste that provides a source of nourishment. Leaving out uncovered food or dirty dishes. Female flies laying their eggs in rotting organic matter. Sources of decaying food, waste to perpetuate their life cycle. I couldn't order anything to eat. Just a root beer. My husband got the "bomb" open faced hamburger and a side of the scalloped potatoes. He liked the hamburger. But the potatoes were so greasy with pools of oil. He ordered the crème brûlée. The waitress said it was blueberry flavor. It was definitely NOT crème brûlée. It was very thin with a watery consistency. This looks like a big business for this town but it is dingy inside and after seeing all the flies that live here. It is disgusting. All the photos, memorabilia, antiques were very dusty which was another turnoff. Isn't dust mostly people's dead skin cells? I guess that is why it is dimly lit so you don't see all of these things. No! we will not be back. They need to clean it up and they need to be inspected.

Yelp
I have been ordering the green Chile chicken soup for years, I think that's what it was called. Always great with a hint of curry. I tried to order it today and was told it was turkey. Very hearty, creamy and very spicy. Turkey was moist. It left me wanting more. Highly recommended. First thing I noticed on the pizza menu, was the smoked wings. Not a fan of the common wing joints, always over priced, under sized and bland. Took a chance. So glad I did. Full sized hefty wings, not sections. Blackened, moist and tasty on the inside. Tons of flavor! Very smokey, there is a spice in there I could not put my finger on. I am recommending this. Also had a slice, I dig a thin crust. Very good. No room for beer. Keep it consistent 3RB! I tell all travelers to stop here.

Yelp
Service is excellent. The bartenders are very nice. There's variety of drinks available.
google avatar

Yelp
Loved it! First impression was that the building was super cool and the servers were friendly and fast. The food came out and it was delicious. I got the Albuquerque Turkey sammie. The green chile was very fresh and tasted fantastic. B had a burger which he said was very good. I sampled his fries (of course) and they were great. But the best part was the beer! I had the Sky High IPA. I liked it so much I went next door to the taproom and bought some (which the pulled out of the tap and put into cans to go) to take home. Will definitely stop in again next time we are in Farmington!

Yelp
4 different establishments in 1 block. The restaurant, the pizzeria, the lounge and the game room. Outstanding staff and great beer!

Ashli D.

Yelp
I was on a work trip when I stumbled on this cool place. I was in the area for 3 nights and I went to Three Rivers every night for dinner. One night I did the pizza side; SO dang good!!! The other two nights I went to the brewery side. I had the chicken wings one night and a garlic aoili chicken wrap the next, everything was delicious. My friends really liked their burgers too! But the wings are a must, they are to die for!! They have some solid brews on tap too! I did get crème brûlée to go one night and it was very odd.. definitely not crème brûlée.. or maybe it was weird because I got it to go? So I recommend just skipping dessert lol. Three Rivers also has a distillery and game room in the same strip. I didn't get a chance to check them out, but I bet they're great too!!

joe n.

Yelp
Stopped here for dinner and was pleasantly surprised by how good the dinner was and the ambience. I had the Fish and Chips and really liked it - just enough coating on flaky cod strips. I've had some fish and chips where there was more coating than fish - really bad. My wife had grilled chicken and it was nicely done. The service was friendly and prompt. The restaurant is in a building dating from the 1920s and the tin ceiling is original. There are a lot of memorobilia all over the walls which gives it a fun and funky vibe. There are a lot of chain restaurants in town and I much prefer local businesses - Three Rivers is head and shoulders above the chains. Highly recommend Three Rivers.

Yelp
Really great food and the presentation was amazing, great beer selection had a flight for a taste around

P C.

Yelp
Unless you are there to get sloshed, the food leaves a lot to be desired. Pizza is so-so. Makes Domino's seem like gourmet.

Carol F.

Yelp
Good food, unique ingredients combinations in some dishes give the meal pizazz. Servers are usually good and prompt. Today the kitchen was apparently short staffed and slower than usual and it showed but didn't affect the taste or appearance of my meal. I asked for a small side of coleslaw thinking it would be mostly traditional but wasn't. They Used apple shreds instead of cabbage. Server said they are soon phasing it out and replacing with traditional. The interior is rustic, historic building. Nice to keep the historic appearance in the dining area but REALLY wish restroom would be updated!!!! Way past time to put new fixtures in the restroom!!

Kenneth J.

Yelp
Pizza was good Appetizer was good. My bad I'm not a beer drinker or wine so (brewery) should of given it away. Great chips and Pretzel but only bottled tea. Once again good food but go for Beer or wine and the outside experience. Great outdoor patio great service.
google avatar

Celeste B.

Yelp
We came for the chicken fried steak and we're not disappointed. It is best I ever had. Their squash was awesome the chef can cook. The music is not the classic I like (Sinatra)it makes me want to run. Our server is busy but we saw her just enough.
google avatar

Johnny A.

Yelp
Great food and a great service. If you are into history this is the place for you. A chef who is willing to push his skills and beer made on site, you are going to love it

Yelp
Three Rivers Eatery and Brewery in Farmington, New Mexico Chicken Fried Steak. I visited Three Rivers on June 16, 2022 for lunch and ordered the chicken fried steak. The chicken fried steak was absolutely delicious and one of the best I have ever had in my life, I told the chef that the chicken fried steak was the absolute best chicken fried steak I have had in 30 years. Don't pass up the chance to have the best chicken fried steak you ever have in your life. You can be assured when I go back to Farmington I'm going to go back and get me another chicken fried steak. Order the whole steak don't order the half steak. I wish, I could get the recipe for that steak because it was so awesomely delicious. Five stars are not enough, they get 10 shooting stars for the chicken fried steak. Yum!!!
google avatar

Lori K.

Yelp
The food was good, but too many flies!!! Would try it again in the winter- maybe it was a summer issue!!

Phillip R.

Yelp
Great good, nice atmosphere! Enjoyed the Chimichurri Ribeye with green Chile scalloped potatoes. Was perfect!!
google avatar

Ann M.

Yelp
Perfect place to while away a hot afternoon with a slow lunch and very tasty beers! We've been here many times, the food is always very solid, they are their own brewery and the selection beyond that is very good as well. Servers were great.
google avatar

Jeff S.

Yelp
Overpriced subpar food. Decorated to feel like a Salvation Army store with too much clutter and grime. Not sure if the employees are trained to be rude, or if it just comes naturally. And the beer sucks.
google avatar

Jason T.

Yelp
After a long day on the river, this place really hit the spot and the bar and restaurant were a lot of fun with a busy small town atmosphere.
google avatar

Bob S.

Yelp
We were in Farmington for three days and ate dinner there all three nights! The first night simply because it was the only place open on a Sunday, It was so good that we just kept coming back. We had something different each night and the quality of the food was fantastic. The chili, in particular, was amazing. Our server was great, too.
google avatar

Charles F.

Yelp
Food and service was excellent. I had fish & chips and others had Reuben's and burgers. Everyone loves their meals and the beer was fantastic.

Hampton I.

Yelp
Well first of all I will not recommend this place to anyone as we were treated horribly. We had to wait quite a while for our food like over an hour, our food was very bland, the eggs were not fully cooked for our salad, the dressings were not good. My nephew had chicken fried steak dinner so all of sudden a knat comes flying out of his potatoes. That made him sick, also we ordered Chicken wings those were burnt and no taste. So upon telling the manager all of this before she rudely walked off as she is yelling at us saying we were lying she was so rude, i mean rude. We could not talk to her. We did not really appreciate her awful behavior. Somehow I wonder how she is the manager as she has no customer service skills what so ever.
google avatar

Blackjack Jim B.

Yelp
Fantastic staff in all areas. Best food and drink selection in the entire county, with a classy antique setting that takes you back in time.

Bill G.

Yelp
I just dont understand is why after I told the server I travel and come here every month. I order food to go and no napkins or to go silverware. I won't come to this place anymore apparently the $7 tip wasent enough for her to give me a napkin. It's worth more than the overpriced chicken fingers when your on the road and have nothing. Sad they just dont care about the customers who are out of state
google avatar

Rich D.

Yelp
We've been twice now in two days which is the absolute best indicator of quality! The Cuban and Pastrami sandwich are delicious along with real garlic fries! The beer selection is great also. We sat at the bar where Sarah was fantastic and the atmosphere unique. Highly recommend

Yelp
Solid place to dine in town. Good selection of beer and alot of choices in the food menu. Went with the chicken fried steak. Huge portion (full size). Would Go back again
