Three Storks, a Design Boutique Hotel Prague, Czech Republic

"Located in Prague’s Lesser Town, the luxurious design hotel Three Storks is set in a historical building dating back to the 14th century, when it was home to a monastic brewery. Charles Bridge is just a 5-minute walk away. The Three Storks offers rooms with design furniture, ultra-modern bathrooms and air conditioning with individual controls. Every room is equipped with flat-screen satellite TV, DVD players with a rich choice of DVDs and free Wi-Fi. All rooms offer views over the city’s red rooftops, but the best rooms also have views over Prague’s Castle, which is 300 metres away. The hotel's Wallenstein Pub serves fine wines and numerous gourmet Czech specialities, such as roasted duck with cabbage, bread dumplings and venison dishes. The elegant lobby bar has an extensive drinks menu and a covered patio with glass ceilings. The Three Storks Hotel also offers a shuttle service (for groups between 4 to 8 guests) to and from Prague Ruzyne Airport and Hlavní Nádrazí railway station." - My Boutique Hotel (en)

Three Storks (Prague, Czech Republic) 5 Hotel Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"Prague is a city so steeped in history that even the brand-new high-design boutique hotels have stories that reach back centuries. This one is no different — it started its life as a monasterial brewery some time in the 14th century, lived through several reconstructions (in Renaissance, Baroque, and Neoclassical styles), some expansions into neighboring buildings, and now, finally, begins a new life as the twenty-room Hotel at the Three Storks. Inside, now, it’s as new as tomorrow, re-designed with the help of the Czech-born and London-based architect Eva Jiřičná." - Tablet Hotels

Wonderful staff, convenient location, modern rooms with comfortable bed. My wife & I stayed here for 1 week in October for a vacation. The staff was responsive during the reservation process, when I needed to change our check-in date. They were friendly and helpful, reserving an airport ride for our departure day. The rooms have a mini fridge, Nespresso machine with a variety of pod flavors & tea. The location was really convenient, close to Charles Bridge west end, also near metro and tram stops. Easy walk to the castle area and the surrounding parks.

This is an excellent hotel! A mixture of modern and historic. The room is spacious, clean, and well kept. The bathroom is uniquely done and is very modern and stylish. It is also very close to every historic places! Close to the palace and the Charles bridge! Just beside the Czech Parliament! |2-min walk from the tram station as well. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here, the staff were helpful and the room we booked also comes with breakfast which is delicious! Plus they have a freshly squeezed orange juice! I would stay again here if I come back to Prague! Highly recommended!

We booked a couple of nights here to kick start our honeymoon, and we had a fantastic experience. We arrived at the hotel hoping to drop our luggage off before check in. Michaela was so lovely as well as the rest of the team. Michaela checked us in on the spot and said the room would be ready in ten minutes! On top of that, they had upgraded our room! We hadn’t told them we were on honeymoon so it was just an act of kindness we really appreciated. The room and the look of the hotel was amazing. A really beautiful hotel. Breakfast was also lovely. We had a great time here. Couldn’t recommend enough

Very nice hotel. Large well presented room and bathrooms. Breakfast good (not amazing) but does the job. Close to Castle and Charles bridge but just far enough away from the crowds.

What a wonderful hotel!!! It's small and quiet, well situated and with the most dedicated and thoughtful staff!! Even though it is the height of the tourist season, we feel as if we were in a quiet, private encla e of the city. The rooms are interesting, comfortable, clean and airy. Breakfast has everthing you could want! We will definitely stay here again. I am so sorry to be leaving!

Staying at the Three Storks has been an absolute pleasure. Reading some previous reviews mentioning the noise of the lower floor rooms, we decided to pay just the slight extra for a triple room, which means I can't speak to the volume of the lower floor, but I find it hard to believe that it would be an issue due to the general quietness of the hotel whenever we were inside. The initial check in service was brilliant with plenty of recommendations for things to do and see. The room was beyond my expectations for the price, and even came with a complimentary bottle of wine. We only got to experience the breakfast just one morning due to a very early flight on the last day unfortunately. Abundance of options including hot food, fruit, pastries and several options of beverages. You could even squeeze your own fresh orange juice if you wanted, incredible.

Lots to recommend this hotel. Room is great size with so much storage space. Room was very clean with nice bathroom and shower. Super comfy bed. Breakfast nothing special but did the job. Great overall feel to the hotel and handily placed to explore the many delights of Prague!

Yelp
I liked the location of this hotel. It's far enough from the super touristy areas but a pretty easy walk or tram to get wherever. We even ubered a couple times and they could easily pick us up. It's also right next to a beautiful garden and what seemed to be a church. The minuses were that the bed was pretty hard and not super comfy and we were on the top floor which was pretty hot. Even with AC on. The hotel isn't very luggage friendly either. You have to lug your bag up steps in various parts. Our floor even has a staircase after the elevator ride. The staff was very friendly and helpful which honestly was the best part. The breakfast was pretty good too but I only partook in that once.

Yelp
Very nice boutique hotel . Everyone friendly specially compared to rest of our Prague experience with customer service. Location is very good : close walking distance to all site seeing areas. Prices are good and can get a big room. Breakfast is included which is nice not looking for breakfast in the morning specially good restaurants specially for breakfast are hard to find in center town.

Yelp
Beautiful hotel w/ ~20 rooms that started out as a monastic brewery at some point in the 14th century - a cellar has even been preserved from that time! Since then, the building has experienced Renaissance, Baroque, and Neoclassical reconstructions. The location is excellent. It is in a quiet part of Mala Strana, which I believe is the oldest neighborhood in the city, only a few minutes walking distance from Charles Bridge and below the castle. The room was clean, light, and airy, with parquet flooring and contemporary design that was still comfortable. I enjoyed sitting on the deep windowsill and staring out into the peaceful cobblestone streets and up at the castle in the evenings - an entrancing sight. Very kind and attentive staff.

Yelp
Fantastic location and top notch service. The room was on the smaller side but comfortable. The hotel is located on the other side of the bridge from the all the hustle and bustle. The hotel is very close to Prague Castle. It was nice to be away from the crowd but close enough to be able to walk across the bridge to the other side if we wanted. The staff working at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. They made a fair number of dinner reservations for us. Our package also included the brunch which was pretty decent. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

Yelp
I can't say enough good things about this hotel - we stayed 5 nights and enjoyed everything about it! My hubby and I got the triple room which was huge and gorgeous, looking directly to the Prague Castle. The room was super quiet, extremely clean, modern bathroom and as expected from a 14th century monastery, there were gorgeous vintage touches in the room. The management set out fresh fruit and a bottle of wine in our room upon our arrival. The buffet breakfast was fantastic with fresh omelettes, a cappuccino maker and loads of fresh fruits and breads. It's also just steps from the Charles Bridge (we walked to it every night) and all of the tourist action. The AC was a little lacking in the 85+ heat in late May for us Texans. Without hesitation, we would definitely recommend to anyone staying in Prague and will definitely revisit ourselves!
