Beautiful hotel w/ ~20 rooms that started out as a monastic brewery at some point in the 14th century - a cellar has even been preserved from that time! Since then, the building has experienced Renaissance, Baroque, and Neoclassical reconstructions.
The location is excellent. It is in a quiet part of Mala Strana, which I believe is the oldest neighborhood in the city, only a few minutes walking distance from Charles Bridge and below the castle. The room was clean, light, and airy, with parquet flooring and contemporary design that was still comfortable. I enjoyed sitting on the deep windowsill and staring out into the peaceful cobblestone streets and up at the castle in the evenings - an entrancing sight. Very kind and attentive staff.
