Really cool vibe with a relaxed atmosphere. If you can grab one of the bar seats looking out onto the street, it’s perfect for a bit of people-watching. Service is top-notch and genuinely friendly. We started with the cucumber salad, corn ribs, and chicken bao. Everything was super fresh and tasty, but the bao was the standout. I went for the brisket ramen — unreal, packed with good, healthy ingredients. The wife had the chicken ramen, which was also very tasty. Would 100% recommend this place. We’ll definitely be back.

The atmosphere here is awesome! The place is very lively and has lots of seating. Seating includes tables and bar seating. We didn’t wait any time to be seated and our order came out in a timely manner. The sushi is excellent! Highly recommend getting a roll or two. The ramen is also good and is a decent portion. Our view was at the window and we were able to people watch while we enjoyed our meal. Food is flavorful and piping hot. Our only issue was our server tried to be sneaky and add money on at the end when we were being rang out. She tried to add way, way more to the bill and I only caught on when comparing the prices to the menu. She then got mad when we called that out. Enjoy the food and drinks but be careful when checking out and make sure the amount is correct.

Tucked away in Cape Town, this intimate ramen bar might just serve the city’s finest bowl. The atmosphere is warm and understated, with a quiet authenticity that instantly evokes a corner of Tokyo. The space is small and unpretentious, yet every detail feels deliberate, lending it a charm that is both refined and inviting. The ramen arrives as a feast for the senses: a bowl brimming with colour — golden broth, vibrant greens, rich slices of pork, and jewel-bright garnishes — as beautiful to behold as it is to taste. Each spoonful balances precision and soul, transforming humble ingredients into something memorable. Dining here is not merely a meal but a moment of calm, transporting and restorative in equal measure.

Really enjoyable experience. Waiters were great, helpful, kind and fun. Service was good. Food was really really good. We had the pot sticksers and crispy tofu for starters and they were both solid. The star of the shoe was the ramen. Noodles were insane, flavours were deep. It was so well cooked. Highly recommend the experience.

Yet to find a better ramen restaurant in Cape Town! Top if off with the excellent service, subdued lighting, warm atmosphere and you’re in for a treat, before we even get to the menu The ramen pulls the crowds but their Yakimono offerings and their starter menu shouldn’t be ignored. The flank steak with asparagus is good enough to make you want to skip your main completely and order a second round. Very tender meat, sweet sesame tare and a very subtle infusion of chilly. I also enjoyed the tuna tataki. Their ponzu sauce is quite acidic, and I didn’t really taste the usual sweetness of mirin, which was perfectly fine. Highly encourage anyone to try their sake bomb, as their craft beer selection is decent enough for anyone with a taste for craft lagers.

One of the best ramen place at CapeTown and if you vegetarian - you would love the Ramen bowl here as much as I did :)

The Three Wise Monkeys Delivered! The ramen, the sushi, the buns – everything was absolutely delicious! The quality of the food was consistent across the board, and the flavors really hit the mark. The service was top notch – attentive, friendly, and efficient. My only (very personal) gripe: the place is quite crowded and therefore feels loud. It doesn’t quite give off the traditional restaurant vibe, more like a bustling, vibrant spot. That said, it didn’t take away from the experience at all – the food more than made up for it. Amazing overall – I’d definitely go back!
