"Lisa Raiola, founder and president of Hope & Main, a culinary incubator based in Warren, loves the gluten-free Three Wishes Bakery, from a graduate of her program, in Johnston. It’s 'the most delicious fluffy, brioche-style cider doughnut, generously coated in cinnamon-sugar while it’s still warm,' she says, 'and you would never guess it is gluten-free.'" - Adam H. First time there and won’t be back. The owner gave me an attitude because I asked for extra cream for my carrot cake. A simple “no” would have sufficed instead of the attitude that it was the perfect ratio and I didn’t need it. As you can see in the photos, the cream frosting was lacking for the amount of cake. Obviously the owner doesn’t know much about baking desert and had to be extremely rude on top of it. The food didn’t taste good at all.

I had a great experience here! I was traveling for work and needed both lunch food and a treat. This was just the place! I got 4 rolls, slightly warmed one, threw some chicken salad on top and it was the perfect lunch. I was nursing a molar extraction so I had to eat soft-ish foods, and I was so grateful to get something that felt like a real lunch rather than just yogurt and bananas! It really hit the spot. The owner/chef was so friendly and helpful when I needed advice of what to get, and everything that I bought was delicious. I am so grateful that dedicated GF places like this exist so I don't have to worry about cross contamination especially when I'm not at home. ❤️ But I wish I did live in Johnston so I could return!

I was very nervous coming a to a gluten free bakery for I have never been to one. But the guy helping me was really sweet and nice. I had taste tested a churro which was mind blowing, it was so fluffy and yummy it made my choice clear I found a hidden jem in Rhode Island. The doughnut I had was very delicious and everything I tasted doesn’t seem to have an after taste which u typically taste in gluten free items. Needless to say their stuff tastes absolutely amazing and recommend anyone to go here too!

Google
This is an all gluten free bakery. I am new to Rhode Island and am gluten sensitive so I was delighted to come by their website. I definitely want to go back to try their churros and some of their cupcakes. I bought 4 donuts. Two glazed with sprinkles, one Oreo, and one Boston Crème and they were beautiful and delicious. The service is quick and friendly and the man behind the counter told me about two local restaurants that are gluten free friendly!

Our daughter was recently diagnosed with Celiac Disease & its been a struggle for the entire house. It's hard to tell an almost 6 year old that she can't have certain things like other kids can. Well we did some googling and found Three wishes bakery! They've been a life saver! Their cupcakes are delicious and tonight we tried their pizza dough and it was amazing! I'm so glad we can slowly Introduce her to the foods she loves as we let her stomach heal from the trauma. Can't wait to try their gnocchi next!

I ordered a custom churro birthday cake for my fiancé's surprise birthday party. The cake was beautiful and all of the guests raved about how unique and delicious it was. Highly recommend!

Google
We got our wedding cake and an additional sheet cake through Three Wishes and it was amazing! As a gluten free bride with many gluten free guests, finding a good gluten free cake was very important to me. The cake was delicious and the cake turned out beautiful. They delivered the cake to my venue and decorated it with my flowers. It was perfect!

Google
Hands down the best gluten free bakery in RI ❤️ they've got donuts, chirros, muffins, cookies, brownies, cake pops, baguettes/breads, pizza and cupcakes. They even have mock tarts which are my personal favorite 😄 definitely worth the hour drive once a month. They're always trying out new flavors and products posted on their social media. Thank you so much for the deliciousness.

Yelp
Laura and Brian exceeded our expectations for our wedding. Planning with them for the wedding was painless and they are located down the street from the florist that we used (Cherryhill Flowers). All of our guests raved about the churros, cupcakes and cake! They were one of the most professional vendors that we worked with. I've read a few reviews mentioning the poor attitude that they've encountered here. Everyone is entitled to their own feelings and they are valid, however sometimes we all just have off days. My husband and I have been here on more than a handful occasions and haven't had a bad experience- both food and service related.

Yelp
Entirely gluten & nut free bakery! We got: 1. Cannoli filled to order - B 2. Cheesecake bite - A+ 3. Chocolate donut - A 4. Eclair - B- 5. Swiss Roll - B 1a. My best advice for anyone ordering one of their cannolis freshly filled to order: eat it immediately. We waited too long, I think, & so the shell was floppy & soggy rather than crisp. User error. We take responsibility. 2a. Scrumptious little treat that was about 4 bites of goodness. We chose the cherry topped version & it was delightfully & surprisingly delicious. 3a. Just a straight up good donut. 4a. The distribution of cream, chocolate, & pastry was a bit wonky. Some bites were just dry pastry, others were a mouthful of cream. It was a pretty pastry to look at but the eating experience didn't live up to the look. 5a. Tasty, just not my favorite. We'll definitely be back! I think it would be so nice to do a special order for a holiday or a birthday in the future. Thanks, Three Wishes, you are so appreciated.

Yelp
The carrot cake has the perfect amount of. Cake to cream cheese frosting! Any more or any less would not be perfect. What are your thoughts??? Thanks

Yelp
This is such a gem! I am not even a gluten-free person but I have many friends with Celiacs, Hashimoto's and general sensitivities. I have been told wonderful things about Three Wishes for years now. I finally got to visit in person recently. It's a small shop, but they have a great selection. I sampled the churro donut. I purchased a cannoli filled donut and a bag of lemon ricotta cookies. I was clearly drawn towards traditional Italian treats! I'm a sucker for frosting and filling so my favorite was the cannoli filled donut, which they filled after i ordered since the filling needed to be refrigerated. It was amazing- not too sweet, wonderful texture, just lovely! I would never have guessed that any of these items were gluten-free. I was old that the owners use a proprietary blend of more than 4 types of flour, and there is no gluten at all! They are doing a great job. I can't recommend this enough for folks who can't have gluten, or really anyone who wants to support a small bakery!

Yelp
My husband and I came today to get a couple desserts to split. The owner was very friendly and the presentation of the items were the best parts. We did not realize until after that it is a gluten free bakery so this is likely why the items tasted different, although we have had gluten free baked goods before other places and enjoyed them. We tried the little Debbie tree, chocolate donut, donut twist and lemon bar. The two donuts were hard and tasted strange maybe a little burnt? The little Debbie was disappointing, dry and hard. So $20 (way too pricey) later we threw 1/2 of the box out.

Yelp
if you like terrible service and terrible food, then this is the place. The owner was extremely rude. My friend bought soup and there was a large bone in it. I won't be back to this dump.

M W.

Yelp
Owner was really rude. I don't make a habit of assuming racism when white people are rude to me, but I wouldn't send any of my Black friends and family here after my experience.

Kelley B.

Yelp
We loved all the delicious baked goods we got today! My favorites were the carrot cake, cookie dough cupcake, and glazed donut. Can't wait to go back again!

Yelp
Picked up an online order of eclairs for my mom's birthday. I thought to ask for a birthday decoration on at least one of the eclairs after already placing the order and the bakery was happy to add "Happy Birthday" to all 6. They taste great and just like normal eclairs!

Linda Chelman ..

Yelp
Any baked good from Three Wishes Bakery is a happy ending! We picked up a " made-to-order" lemon birthday cake for a family party. It looked spectacular and tasted delicious. Since we traveled 40 minutes from Franklin, MA, my husband and I sat in the shop and ate a few of Laura and Brian's creations. WOW!!! It was worth the trip

Dee T.

Yelp
I sampled the churro and bought a lemon square, chocolate eclair, carrot cake and cookie dough-stuffed doughnut for my friend who has celiac disease. He loved all of them! So did I, and I'm used to eating regular desserts! Everything was unbelievably tasty and moist! As the owner, Brian, said: you'd never know they were GF. We'll be back.

Shannon N.

Yelp
So happy to have found this place!!! Going gluten free isn't fun, but Three Wishes makes you forget. The churros are a must try - even my fiancé and mom love them and they don't have to eat gluten free! I also recommend any of their fruit bars, coffee rolls and cannolis! You cannot go wrong with anything you get. In addition they offer fresh gnocchi and pizza dough that you can bring home to make. The people who work here are always friendly and willing to assist you in any way. I definitely recommend a stop here if you are gluten free!

Yelp
It is absolutely wonderful to have a GF bakery around the corner from me however I'm hesitant on going back to this place again. Most of the items I've gotten from here so far have been too off in taste. A few donut flavors were very salty and even the pizza strip dough had a sweet taste to it. I enjoyed the biscuits, I will for sure try those again. For being awarded the #4 GF bakery in the country you'd think the service would be exceptional and welcoming especially for potential new customers. I don't want to be a Karen and I never review places, but I had to because of this. I was met with a rather cold employee, it was like I was bothering her for simply walking in and ordering as a customer. It was awkward to say the least. And from the recent posts I've seen I can conclude that it was most likely the owner. I was really excited to try this place again after their awards and positive PR, but unfortunately I am still reconsidering going back. People have off days I get it, but somethings off every time I come into the place.

Yelp
In response to the owner who said she called back Wednesday and Thursday, I knew this wasn't accurate - I checked my call log and I did not get a call back until Thursday, 6/6. When I didn't get a call back on Sunday OR by end of business on Wednesday, I wanted to make sure I had what I needed for my party, so by Thursday morning I went elsewhere! I can understand being short staffed, but if you're going to respond to my review at least tell the truth.

Yelp
There's nooo way these desserts are gluten free! That's what I said when I had a bite of one of there delicious donuts. First time ever going and I asked the lady if she can surprise me with one of her donuts and she gave me a bag and yelled out " surprised!" Which made me laugh. Came home and fell in love with whatever donut she gave me. Still not sure what it was but whatever it was has me wanting to go back for another. Customer service was great and Parking is okay. I would definitely be coming back to try more of there treats

Aly Y.

Yelp
I was so excited to try this GF bakery. I arrived an hour to two after opening, thinking what ever I ordered would be hot and fresh from the oven. False! Everything was cold and semi-dried out. The service was ok, not the most warm and inviting... but also not horrible. I purchased a variety of items for us to try - donuts, pastries, savory items. They were just ok. Both the pizza and the calzone tasted like baking soda. It's been a long time since I've had food so bad I had to spit it out. Which is heart breaking, I really wanted to be able to support locally.

Samantha M.

Yelp
I heard some buzz about this place so took the drive and boy was it worth it! The churros are better than gluten churros! They are a small gluten and nut free bakery and I was happy to see they had a brisk business when I was there. The churros are approved by the whole family! The cheesecake bites are divine! We will definitely be back!

Lauren B.

Yelp
They make great tasting gluten free bakery items! I don't normally eat gluten free, but you really wouldn't know that these are sans gluten since they are so good. I had a cake made for my small backyard wedding that was amazing (chocolate cake with buttercream frosting). Everyone who attended loved the cake (also some family members didn't know it was gluten free until after they ate it and I told them!). I also ordered cupcakes a few weeks later for my friend's birthday (she has to eat gluten free due to celiac, so this was perfect) and she loved them! Definitely a great spot to order some delicious treats. :)

Jeremy M.

Yelp
Went there for the first time today, WHAT TOOK ME SO LONG!?!? I met the owner, what a nice guy. He helped my kids out with several samples(all of which were fantastic!). We purchased several items and left with a little extra something too. I don't just recommend this to anyone who is gluten free or celiacs but to everyone to support a delicious and local bakery. Thank you for your hospitality today and thank you for making such delicious baked goods for those who can't eat just any where. We will be back very soon!

Victor M.

Yelp
Stopped in for some pastries and I was met with a warm welcome and the smell of yummy churros. Unfortunately, the churros were a bit raw and the donuts were on the smaller side for the price.

Jessica D.

Yelp
Since they have no reviews I think it is important to get them started. Good brownies are hard to find whether gluten free or not. Finding good quality gluten free baked goods is a separate feat. Their gluten free brownie is fantastic! The folks at the Flea Market in Providence were very nice! They mentioned opening a location in Johnston soon and I recommend that anyone who is in search of gluten free baked goods gives them a try. Best of luck with your future location.

Keith L.

Yelp
I loved this place! Picked up some cupcakes, brownies and cinnamon rolls for my last day of grad school and I was not disappointed! The cup cakes and brownies were the best! You would never know it was gluten free! The cinnamon sticks were tasty in my coffee! Highly recommend the trip!

Mike L.

Yelp
We missed the deadline for holiday orders by a few hours and they wouldn't take our order. Mind you, we have been supporting this business since it opened. And we had to get attitude to boot.

Amanda J.

Yelp
You would never know their goods are gluten free!!! In the past, I would buy a dessert at one bakery and then need to head to a gluten free bakery for my friends with dietary restrictions. Three Wishes is so yummy I get their goods for all my friends without needing to worry about needing to go to multiple bakeries. My favorite is their cookie monster brownie and their chocolate cake with the fresh strawberry frosting. Looking forward to trying more menu options!

Audra M.

Yelp
The trip to this bakery from my house in Coventry is worth it, hands down. I don't have any gluten sensitivities. I keep going back to Three Wishes because it's fantastic. If there wasn't a sign about gluten, I wouldn't have even considered the possibility that there's anything unusual about their products except for how good they taste.

Alex N.

Yelp
Stopped by their new location in Johnston. I ordered a churro, coffee roll, vanilla cupcake with strawberry frosting and a small Apple fritter loaf. Everything is amazing. The churro barely made it home. My not gf boyfriend confirmed that it was really that good and not just my "haven't eaten a churro in a decade" tastebuds talking.

Arianna S.

Yelp
I absolutely loved this bakery since I first tried them after purchasing some churros at a farmers market earlier this summer. Since I haven't had time to stop by the farmers market again, I have taken the time to drive the 40-50 minute trek to their physical location. I have been gluten free for nearly a decade now, and their treats are some of the best I have ever had. Today, I arrived an hour prior to closing to find that the treats I wanted were either sold out or had not been made today. No biggie, but the woman at the register was extremely rude, curt, and unwelcoming as I tried to look into the counter to decide what I wanted instead. I would understand a little bit if I'd come in closer to closing, but the enter experience was rushed and disappointing after I spent an hour in traffic just to come to this bakery. I certainly will not be making the drive solely for this bakery again, but their churros are literally the best I have ever had (even better than Disney), so I am extremely disappointed to have had this experience with them.
