The atmosphere is cozy and stylish, everything feels curated with care. Love the place!

The staff member in charge of the café seemed impatient, and the sales clerk’s attitude wasn’t very good either. Earlier, I had asked where I could dine, and was told “anywhere is fine.” Later, when I was holding a cup of matcha, I was told that only the front area is for dine-in. It left me feeling a bit uncomfortable.

I had a virtual appointment with Tai and the experience was amazing. She kept me informed every step of the way and made the whole process super smooth. The bed arrived earlier than expected, looks absolutely beautiful, and was incredibly easy to assemble. Overall, I’m extremely happy with both the product and the service. Highly recommend!

thuma is a cafe / furniture store & showroom in soho. you will be greeted with minimal decor, peaceful vibe and good pastry. they offer pastry from @winsonbakery during this time. i’m not sure how long it is going to last. but since there is no line here, it is better to grab it while you can 🥐 they have wifi but not a lot of seats. it is more like a spot to find some peace in the middle of busy soho streets. i read there for almost an hour and really enjoyed the vibe. their matcha 🍵 is not whisked on the spot (such a bummer), but is poured from the pre-made batch. i saw some clumps but not too many. overall, the color and taste is unexpectedly good ✨

NOT a member of the "Better Business Bureau." No phone number on website for customer service. Takes days to get email response. Ordered over $3000 dollars worth of bedroom furniture. Arrived without notice. No "your order is shipped," "your order is out for delivery," or "your order has been delivered." Basically no order updates other than "order received." Bed frame arrived with two night stands in multiple boxes that were just dumped by FedEx in front of our garage doors. Packages were not left at the front door. Many nicks in the woodwork! Getting one most noticeable piece replaced. They do not give refunds, but could probably get a refund through your credit card company. Don't recommend this company! Shop local and made in USA!

Can't speak to the vibe and service in the store because I was in and out. What I will say is that the bed I bought was the best I've ever assembled. I assembled the entire bed with no tools. This included the 8 screws that had hand tighten knobs and also did not require tools. This is important because if you ever need to disassemble and resemble the bed, it will be as structurally sound as it was the first time you assembled it. Also the slats are much stronger than the slats that come with most beds. I was also impressed be the speed of delivery. If they have problems on the sales/presentation side of the business, I hope that they are actively working to resolve these issues but don't let that deter you from buying what I've found, when the important things are considered, to be the best bed on the market.

Customer service is Pretty bad. I ordered samples about a year ago and never received them reignited the project I was working on again for my son's bedroom. Tried to order a few more samples and they wouldn't ship them to me because I had ordered them before . I let them know I never received them and that I wouldn't order a bed without the samples, I received no response . Very odd, I guess I'll buy from somewhere else.

Beautiful showroom. Came here a few times already to check out the furniture, especially the popular bed. I got fabric swatches and wood samples along with a mini demo of how to build the bed. Service was great too.

Stopped by Thuma for a quick coffee and ended up staying longer than I planned in the best way possible. I ordered an Americano, and it was perfect. Smooth, rich, and bold without being bitter. You could really taste the quality of the beans just one of those cups that hits the spot right away. After finishing my coffee, I decided to take a stroll through the store, and I'm glad I did. The whole space has this really cool, modern, minimalist vibe clean lines, neutral tones, and a calm, almost zen-like atmosphere. Everything feels thoughtfully designed, from the furniture to the smaller decor pieces. I ended up picking up one of their candles on a whim, and I'm obsessed. The scent is subtle but super relaxing exactly what you'd expect from a place that clearly values design and detail. Overall, Thuma is one of those places that just feels good to be in. Great coffee, beautiful design, and products that make you want to take a little bit of that vibe home with you. I'll definitely be back.

Since I'm looking to furnish my place, I had to check this place out because I've seen the IG ads that have popped up. So excited to have been able to check them out in person. I need to feel them furniture up before purchasing anything especially at this price point. The pieces do seem to be high quality to me but I dont know if I can still justify it yet. Love that it uses Japanese joinery. I don't need to buy a power drill! The place is beautiful! Has a cafe in the front with some home goods for purchase. Staff here have been friendly and answered all my silly lil questions. I also was able to bring home some wood and fabric samples too!

Delivery I 48 hrs. Workmanship excellent Very easy to set up. Even the slats for the mattress were beautifully finished. I was very impressed. Using Thuma for a new apartment project. I would like the side tables to be higher.
