Thunder Dome Car Museum

Here at this car museum/display you can reserve the facility for private parties. They feature an area upstairs with great views below at the cars that has plenty of seating and an area for food as well as a bar area to serve liquor from. There is AC so it keeps it cool on hot days.

This museum has a cause and a purpose! That purpose is to support the fight against epilepsy. They keep a great selection of fine automotive displays. Something for everyone. I was here for a car show and was parked next to a supercar!

The Thunder Dome Museum was the first stop on our family road trip from Washington to Texas. Hubby and I travel full time and visit all sorts of places, this time we had our 3 grandkids and two adult daughters with us so stopping frequently was a must! How lucky for us that the museum was open as their hours had changed to only 2 Saturdays a month! When we arrived, we were greeted by the nicest lady, very friendly and super informative about the musuem. The museum is spotless and beautiful! Every car is showcased to it's best potential and they are all pristine! The volunteers throughout the museum were a plethora of information and history and you could tell they loved what they do! Most of the cars are hands off but there are a few you can sit in and even a little scavenger hunt for the kiddos! We spent about an hour at the museum, admiring the cars and chatting with the volunteers, it was plenty of time to see everything. The kids loved it!

Have you got a couple of extra hours? What a cool place to visit. These are not all restorations, a lot of these cars have been left as they were found. From a vintage 1940 Indian race bike to more than one signed Shelby Cobra and a lot in between.

AWESOME! AMAZING! If you haven't been here, you need to go. This venue is in a beautiful setting, with hot amazing cars, and fantastic staff!

Amazing collection of mostly American muscle cars. Antique Enumclaw fire truck is a nice addition to an outstanding lineup. Worth the trip. Brand new!

Besides being out right fascinating the owners and crew are compassionate.We held my cousins memorial here today and they went above and beyond courteous. Huge supporter of their poker runs for charity and community based ethics.

One of my favorite museums around; they really have some unique vehicles on display here. I love the fact that they rotate the vehicles on display quite often; you never know what rare vehicle you will discover next; keep coming back to find out. The volunteers here are fantastic - so knowledgeable, and always available to share some great piece of trivia about these vehicles. Most museums don't have that level of personalized exhibit discovery! Considering the fact that the founder is a big Ford fan, it's right up my alley; always a new Mustang on hand to enjoy!

Thunder Dome Car Museum is an informative, fun place to visit in Enumclaw Wa. It has a serious charitable function in supporting Epilepsy Awareness. A fundraiser event is in the works this coming summer with music, food, and a car show. The staff at the museum are knowledgeable, informative and friendly. The museum could appeal to many interests as they have displays of varied items from automobile history as well as all types of vehicles; cars, motorcycles, trucks, many stages of repair or disrepair. The small sports cars brought back memories of my first car a classic '58 British Racing Green TR3. What a fun environment complete with nostalgic music. I have my heart set on that beautifully preserved black '53 Cadillac. What a fun place! We went there as a family activity for my husband's birthday. The volunteers there are so fun and helpful. We stayed longer than I expected. I'm not a car enthusiast however my husband and son are, yet we all had a good time.

I love this place it's really cool and a bunch of different cars, but I'm a little disappointed that there aren't and drift cars.

Beautiful cars and an amazing venue. The owners are also kind and polite. Such a great addition to Enumclaw.

Oh boy! This place did not disappoint! Wonderful wonderful old muscle cars! The building is spectacular and a great addition to Enumclaw! We checked that off of our bucket list but we may just have to go back again!

Everyone working at the museum was very friendly. Proceeds go to charity. We were all impressed with the cars and the use of the space. Even our young kids enjoyed it (kids were free).

It's not the biggest or the most varied car museum I've ever been to. That said, I'm a pseudo car guy from Detroit and I can honestly say that they had good enough mix of classic muscle and resto-mods to keep me occupied for a while. They definitely had a few mind blowing displays as well. Check out the '29 Buick or 21 Window VW. It sounds like the collection will occasionally rotate stuff in and out to keep it interesting. Everyone was super friendly and it seems that your admission goes to a great cause.

Very nice Car Museum. I took my 7 year old daughter here a couple months ago. Amazing Cars, Nice Facility, Great Staff and all for a great cause. The museum is non-profit and all proceeds go towards finding a cure for epilepsy! I would recommend this Car Museum to anyone. Oh and Thunder Dome, I would love to see an old Alfa Romeo in there someday.

Had a great time with the family at Thunder Dome. Lots of cool cars and everyone was super friendly. One of the best fathers day outings in a long time.

What an amazing place. So much attention to detail on the museum and the cars are amazing. Love their apparel! Such a great cause behinds the place. All their proceeds go to epilepsy awareness and they are working with Enumclaw school district to get the high school kids in for automotive course. We absolutely will be coming back often to see their new additions.

Grew up in town, drove over an hour to be at the "Grand Opening for local residents" or so they called it; only to be turned away AFTER being told "oh we knew about the false info in the newspaper but how could we re print it?" By the owner. Or owner's wife. She was not accommodating at all. Instead she just told us many people got the wrong info and did nothing to own the mistake. Let alone put out another article to CORRECT their mistake. I will not be returning and I don't recommend it to anybody. Just go to LeMay, get treated well and be on your way. Very dissapointed with the hometown hospitality and organization on this one; or lack thereof.

Happened to spot the sign for this gem while walking to the new brewery in Enumclaw. As we were sampling our beers at the windowed bar facing east, out of curiosity, I decided to google "Thunder Dome" in Enumclaw. I couldn't help but smile when I saw that it was a car museum, as my husband and brother-in-law are car fanatics!!! We all decided to run over quick to take a peek. After conversing with the friendly and informative people at the inside entrance, we decided to pay and go take a look inside. We were amazed at the very diverse and meticulous car collection they have! So glad we decided to go in! As we were finishing looking at the last couple of cars, the owner walked up and asked how we liked the museum. We told him we "loved it and were very impressed with his collection and the building it is housed in!" He talked to us at some length about the cars and museum and COULD NOT HAVE BEEN ANY FRIENDLIER!!! The museum is non-profit and all proceeds go towards finding a cure for epilepsy! The upstairs space in the museum has a bar and is available to rent out for business functions and special occasions. I am definitely going to be back with more relatives and friends. I highly recommend you all CHECK IT OUT!!!
