Red Cat Adventures - Thundercat Day Tour

We participated Outer Reef Tour and Tonggara Sail last week as a couple. The Sealink cruise was spacious, meals and lunch were well-organised and delicious, and the 2 snorkelling spots were exclusive, the corals were so beautiful and we were lucky to be able to swim with some baby sharks and turtles. I would like to thank the crew for the wonderful service and ensuring we were safe even though we were inexperienced swimmer , especially Cooper and the guide who helped us to spot cute sea animals while we were snorkelling. Someone offered to help us to take some nice pictures on the way too !! *sorry I’m not good at remembering names* Tonggara sail was more relaxing with a large deck with big bean bags to sunbathe and chill . Despite harsh sea conditions we would like to thank the captain and skipper who ensured our safety and tried their best to make our experience enjoyable as well. Shoutout to Cooper and James who offered us their professional knowledge and experience about boats which inspired my husband to buy a boat someday. They were really helpful and friendly, my husband and I enjoyed our time on the sail. We would also like to thank Luke for his friendly service and patience in arranging bookings for us. Overall my husband Devin and I enjoyed our holiday and we will definitely come back soon!

We did Tongarra today. Shout out to Nat and James for looking after us. We had 4 seasons in one day!! Even felt like we went through a mini cyclone! But they kept us safe and tought us a few boat things with sails etc! Food was good… tour was good … staff were amazing! We even got a sunset!! Recommend these guys and Nat and James make a great team!

We were in a group of 4 who did the Whitehaven Beach / Snorkeling tour yesterday. The weather was perfect and the boat captain Jet and our tour guide Jade were just sensational and really made the tour. Jade was so energetic and had a wonderful energy that was just infectious. She had everyone laughing with her Dad Jokes and never stopped smiling. Jet was also amazing and saved the day when one of our group list her phone, which was protected by a waterproof cover, as she was getting out of the water. Within a flash Jet grabbed a face mask and dove down about 10 meters to the bottom and retrieved the phone undamaged. He saved the day for us. This tour is so highly recommended! Great experience, good food and the best crew.

I went on the thundercat tour through red cat adventures on 21/11/2025, as a solo traveller and honestly had the BEST DAY! The day couldn’t have been more perfect the way they run the day and everything they do with us. We had a perfect amount of time at Whitehaven beach (just over 2 hours), at the lookout point and on the beach. We then went to 2 snorkel points which were amazing and the guides knew exactly where to take us and we saw so many amazing fish and coral in the reef! They also provided us with a delicious lunch which was prepared for us to have as soon as we got on the boat after Whitehaven, which was perfect! And meant no waiting around when we were all hungry! All the crew on board were amazing and SO welcoming and friendly. Huge shoutout to Trecia who is amazing!!! She does her job so well, while also making it so fun for everyone! I was extremely nervous to snorkel, however she massively put me at ease and made sure I felt so safe! This was extremely re assuring, and had it not been for her, I probably wouldn’t have got in the water!! Would recommend this tour and red cat adventures so much, a real must do if you’re in airlie beach!! Thanks guys :) Katie x

My tour with Thundercat was AMAZING! One of the top five experiences of my life! Not only was our time at Whitehaven beach incredible, the food was surprisingly great, but the snorkeling??? The snorkeling was one of those experiences I’m going to be thinking about again and again for the rest of my life! I’m so glad we had the crew we had—Shannon (I think??? Shanna???) Shiv, Vicky, and Randall were so great and amazing and I honestly wish I could have a job as cool as they have!! So glad I booked this tour and I’m so grateful for the time I got to spend with the Red Cat crew!!

Awesome day out to Whitehaven beach and snorkeling with an all girl crew, skippered by Shannan, on the Wildcat. All the crew were knowledgeable, professional and super friendly. Snorkeling with the fish was the best I've done in years of snorkeling all over, fish were literally slapping me in the face. Lunch was perfect as well as morning and afternoon tea. The boat was fast, stable and comfortable. My wife gets sea sick but not on this boat, the ride was smooth. Couldn't recommend it enough, absolute top day out. Only down side was when we arrived back to the marina, there was not a staff member to see and to get our bus back to our resort was a mess. Apart from that it was an amazing day on the water and hopefully they can sort out the pick ups, maybe some communication or a staff member to speak to.

Book this tour! You won’t regret it! We finished 2025 in a spectacular way with the very best crew, Captain Shannon at the helm of the Wildcat. She had an exuberant attitude that set the vibe for a great day. Her playlist as we sped was fantastic & we were all singing along. Our sons loved how she asked everyone to give her the boost as ‘this boat runs on your energy’ as we set off. They were yelling the loudest! Jordan/ Jordy and James were brilliant at connecting with the tourists, capturing awesome selfies and family shots. They kept things running smoothly. Our trip to Whitehaven beach, snacks, lunch, snorkel spots were wonderful. This was our 6 year olds first time snorkeling (aside from practice in the pool) and he was blown away. This was a magical experience to share his excitement. The crew were so encouraging and high fived our boys when they finally got out of the water. We loved watching our boys enjoy the sea air and feel the water spray as we powered on from the front of the boat. This trip was a highlight for our whole family and we do NOT have the words to express our gratitude to Shannon, Jordy and James for a day we won’t forget.

An amazing tour of Whitsundays. Jarrod and Ellie were amazing. The vibes were great. The lunch was delicious. We accidentally booked the wrong tour and were transfered over. Red cat threw in free transfer aswell. They switched our boat as we bought drinks. Amazing company!!! Ellie our tour guide was so bubbly and provided excellent service.

Great job by PK and Payton, our captain and 1st mate! First stop was the famous White Haven beach. Wow, huge beautiful powder white sands... stretching at least a mile! A bit of a hike to reach it, but well worth it! Lunch on the boat; sub sandwich, noodle salad, potato salad and brownie! Plenty of everything... very good! Then it was put on the stinger suit, don our mask, and snorkel... into the Coral Sea! Schools of fish, a few jellyfish, a Ray and the beautiful reef! A wonderful spot! As we came off of a cruise ship, there was a real tight turnaround schedule, both leaving and returning. They did an exceptional job of taking care of us! Would highly recommend them, will use them if we're back in the area again!
