A restaurante that I didn’t know about since I’ve only recently moved to Porto. The staff was lovely and the food truly exceptional. Highly recommended

Very good atmosphere with top mozambican food. I was with some Mozambican friends and ate Mapata, caril de frango com côco and xima. We had a very good time.

Food was very bad and expensive. I had moambe chicken and it was very bland. No flavour at all. Also the chicken was probably hacked to death with a machete, since it was full of small, shard splinters of bone. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone. I was also possibly scammed with the bill, but I just wanted to get ASAP.

I ordered the crab curry for €20, with high hopes because of the high price. However, the curry itself tasted really bad and the portion of rice was tiny. I think the waiter also over charged us €8 for two small waters. I have no idea where they’re getting these prices from. The place itself isn’t fancy, feels more like a basic school canteen. Good luck to them running a business asking these high prices for such low quality!

We came with children and the waiter was very hostile right from the start. The children were afraid of him and as a result had no appetite. The food was very basic and lacking finesse and sophistication. The vegetarian dish was a humiliation. The „salad“ for 5 adults and 3 children was half a tomato with some lettuce, very little. And our bill was very high - which wouldn’t be a problem if at least everyone was satisfied with the food. But like this it felt like an insult and a total waste of money.

Amazing restaurant! As someone who never had Mozambican food before, I was blown away by the quality and flavour of each dish ordered! Highly recommend the curry dishes and a few bottles of 2M beer! Don't forget to try the homemade chilli sauce too! Thank you Tia Orlanda!

Amazing ambiance, service, and the food was just delicious. The lamb curry just melted off the bone and the sauces were divine. I will definitely come back!

The shrimp and chicken curry was exceptional, the house wine inexpensive and delicious, and the desserts are heavenly. Take a break from the high priced tourist traps and get some authentic African cuisine! The owners and wait staff are very inviting and helpful. MUST TRY!
