TIA Wellness Resort

"Note: This review is for the now-closed Fusion Maia Danang. While most new developments along My Khe beach, Danang’s booming 19-mile-long stretch of sand, are towering eyesores, the Fusion Maia is low-key and chic. Its 87 single-story villas lie tucked behind low, russet-tinted laterite walls and interconnected by bamboo-lined stone paths. The spacious, L-shaped villas (the smallest at 540 square feet) are built to an open plan, with a plump beige cotton sofa at one end and a bathroom fitted with a gray terrazzo soaking tub, glass-encased rain shower, and handmade brass sinks at the other. A canopy bed swathed in gauzy caramel-hued cotton sits at the center, facing glass doors that open onto a plunge pool and garden shaded by ferns and palms (a steal, with room rates starting at $290). Smart design touches include a swivel TV that can be viewed from the bath or bed and built-in closets behind textured fabric framed in glass and dark wood. The extras here are noteworthy: Fusion Maia is the first hotel in Asia to offer unlimited spa treatments with the room rate, and at Five, the snazzy restaurant, decorated with tiered silk chandeliers and purple velvet chairs, the show kitchen delivers outstanding dishes like a duck-and-herb ravioli. There’s also complimentary shuttle service to the nearby riverside town of Hoi An, famed for its well-preserved shophouses and lantern-lit lanes."

I stayed here for a few nights during my trip to Vietnam and wished I stayed here longer because this was the highlight of my travels! Tia Wellness is so thoughtful and well designed. The property is beautiful, clean and feels luxurious. The staff were all super professional, kind and friendly. I loved the breakfast- the fresh juices were my morning highlight! Also, the massages/ spa treatments were so lovely and made my stay super relaxing. I truly love this hotel so much I want to return to Da Nang just so that I ca come back here. Sadly it wasn’t the best beach weather while I visited so I was unable to take full advantage of the pool/ beach amenities.

I’m a discerning traveller and can’t say enough wonderful things about Tia. It’s an immaculately run operation, with more attention to detail, kindness and care than any place I can remember. The grounds are perfectly maintained, the room is gorgeous, stocked every day with complimentary drinks and snacks, the massages are by skilled professionals and heavenly, every effort is made at the wellness center from scheduling to comfort to genuine guest care. The pools are stunning, the breakfast buffet is the best I’ve had anywhere, with lots of healthy things like apple cider and ginger shots, and the room service is extensive and many items are available all night long. Hands down the best wellness center I’ve ever been to. If you want a magical experience and peace, come here!

We chose TIA Wellness Resort for our anniversary trip, and it turned out to be the most beautifully romantic getaway we’ve ever had. Our one-bedroom pool villa felt like a private sanctuary — spacious, serene, and tastefully designed. Even though the pool wasn’t heated, we still loved slipping in for a refreshing swim together, especially in the cooler evening breeze.||||The resort’s daily spa treatments made the experience unforgettable. Each session felt deeply nurturing and brought a wonderful sense of calm to our days. Sharing these therapies as a couple was one of the highlights of our trip.||||The food was consistently excellent, and we enjoyed every meal — from intimate in-villa dining to relaxed beachfront breakfasts. A special thank-you to Nei at the reception, who organized our tours and made our stay seamless, thoughtful, and stress-free.||||TIA Wellness offered everything we hoped for in an anniversary celebration — romance, privacy, world-class service, and a setting that feels like pure tranquility.||We left feeling reconnected, relaxed, and grateful for such a memorable experience.

Our stay at TIA Wellness Resort in Da Nang was a truly remarkable experience that exceeded all expectations. From the moment we arrived, the sense of peace and the genuine warmth of the staff made us feel instantly at home.|The dining experience was a major highlight. We loved the convenience of having different dining venues (Ocean Bistro and The Dining Room) to choose from, each offering a fantastic variety of healthy, plant-based options and delicious traditional Vietnamese dishes. The "Eat Light, Feel Bright" philosophy truly shines through in the fresh, vibrant cuisine. What made it even more special was the hospitality of the staff: every single person we encountered was always smiling, incredibly willing to help, and demonstrated outstanding flexibility and attentiveness to our needs, including specific dietary requirements.|The wellness and spa treatments were world-class and a genuine retreat for the mind and body. The resort seamlessly incorporated our health requirements into the program, allowing us to deeply enjoy the diverse therapies on offer. We particularly enjoyed the restorative Bamboo Roll-Out massage and the deeply relaxing Deep Tissue Leg Recovery treatment, which alleviated all tension. The tranquil spa environment is a true oasis of calm.|Finally, we want to extend a special thank you to the staff for the exceptional care they took of our young daughter. While the extensive spa treatments were for us, she was wonderfully looked after by the staff at the free children's club, which allowed us to fully immerse ourselves in the wellness experience with complete peace of mind.|TIA Wellness Resort provides a unique and holistic experience that is both luxurious and deeply personal. We cannot recommend it enough and are already looking forward to our next visit!

Fabulous stay at TIA. It’s 20 minute drive from the airport, and 5-10 drive from local restaurants and bars. We stayed at a quieter time of year - very few other guests but the weather has been lovely. Rooms are spacious with an inclusive (non alcoholic) mini bar that is restocked daily. The pool in the villa is lovely and private. There are 2 other large communal pools in the resort which are beautiful. Food is exquisite. The included breakfast (served at any time of day) is more than you can eat, with unlimited drinks (proper machine espresso coffees, fresh juices etc) and fabulous selection. The spa is awesome. Really classy treatment rooms and very well trained staff. The 80 minute inclusion per guest per day can be spilt between massages and facial, manicures etc. There is also a massive private sauna, steam room, showers etc that can be booked without additional payment. All in all a wonderful, luxurious, escape from reality.

TIA is phenomenal. We stayed during our honeymoon and it was an incredibly relaxing experience. The staff are so attentive, the breakfast/brunch is incredible. The restaurants have various delicious options, so you can enjoy different dishes for about a week without getting tired of the selections. The gym space is big with lots of higher-end equipment I wouldn’t necessarily have expected. The room was great: there’s a private pool, a rainfall shower, a little living room space and outdoor patio space with furniture, and the bed was comfortable. I would recommend doing the wellness package so that you get the spa treatments included, because they were great: you really can’t miss with anything on the wellness menu, but I particularly enjoyed the bamboo rollout, sports massage, and cupping. The main pool is really cool and has a view right out onto the beach. The tides are dangerous, so swimming in the ocean is at your own risk and highly discouraged most days, but walking along the beach was nice. We didn’t go into Da Nang, but Hoi A was lovely (albeit slightly crowded with tourists, even in the rainy season). TIA was quiet too because October is the wet season, but I enjoyed that. That said, be careful and maybe book flexible travel and trip insurance because a typhoon made landfall in Da Nang two days after we checked out, and — were it earlier — it could have easily disrupted the whole trip.

Visted - June My stay at Tia Wellness in Vietnam was absolutely incredible. From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere felt calm, welcoming, and luxurious. The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely focused on making the experience personalized and relaxing. If you’re looking for a place to relax, reset, and treat yourself to some real self-care, Tia Wellness is perfect. I left feeling lighter, refreshed, and mentally reset. Highly recommended! 🌿✨

This was our second stay with TIA Wellness Resort in 2 years. From the location to the facilities, rooms, treatments, food and especially service, everything was perfection again. The management, staff and the way they operate is impeccable. The property itself is gorgeous! The aesthetics and ambiance ties in perfectly with the wellness aspect of it. Inclusion of a well thought out buffet breakfast as well as the 80min treatments and choice of activities per day really makes TIA Wellness Resort a feel-good experience that stays with you well after checking out.
