"Note: This review is for the now-closed Fusion Maia Danang. While most new developments along My Khe beach, Danang’s booming 19-mile-long stretch of sand, are towering eyesores, the Fusion Maia is low-key and chic. Its 87 single-story villas lie tucked behind low, russet-tinted laterite walls and interconnected by bamboo-lined stone paths. The spacious, L-shaped villas (the smallest at 540 square feet) are built to an open plan, with a plump beige cotton sofa at one end and a bathroom fitted with a gray terrazzo soaking tub, glass-encased rain shower, and handmade brass sinks at the other. A canopy bed swathed in gauzy caramel-hued cotton sits at the center, facing glass doors that open onto a plunge pool and garden shaded by ferns and palms (a steal, with room rates starting at $290). Smart design touches include a swivel TV that can be viewed from the bath or bed and built-in closets behind textured fabric framed in glass and dark wood. The extras here are noteworthy: Fusion Maia is the first hotel in Asia to offer unlimited spa treatments with the room rate, and at Five, the snazzy restaurant, decorated with tiered silk chandeliers and purple velvet chairs, the show kitchen delivers outstanding dishes like a duck-and-herb ravioli. There’s also complimentary shuttle service to the nearby riverside town of Hoi An, famed for its well-preserved shophouses and lantern-lit lanes."

Just spent two amazing nights at TIA Resort and it was pure bliss! The spa was definitely a highlight. We had the full body massage and practically melted into the table—so relaxing! Highly recommend it. Just a heads-up, the spa gets fully booked fast, which can make scheduling tricky. More capacity would be awesome! Food was fantastic, too. Everything was delicious and surprisingly healthy, which we loved. The beach and pools were spotless, and our room was beautiful, private, and super tidy. And when the sun went down, the resort lit up like a fairytale—absolutely gorgeous! Overall, TIA Resort offers a truly wonderful escape. We'll definitely be back!

I have just returned from a 7 night stay at TIA. It is without doubt the best hotel experience. The villas, wellness centre, pool and beach are all exquisite but what really stands out is the staff. In all areas we experienced warm, professional and excellent customer service. The rooms are kept spotlessly clean and the fridge stocked constantly with snacks, water and detox drinks. 80’minutes of treatments every day was included for each of us. What a treat - the massages, facials and all therapies are amazing. The wellness centre is an oasis of calm. The landscaping throughout is stunning and beautifully maintained. |The food is wonderful in both restaurants. We preferred the ocean bistro and found the main restaurant a little quiet. Breakfast was a highlight, the buffet is extensive with something for everyone. The chef gave us a private cookery class which was a highlight. |Cars to Da Nang and Hoi A can be arranged by reception who also recommended a great off site restaurant. Nothing is too much trouble. We would return to TIA in a heartbeat.

So beautiful! The layout is well-designed and expertly maintained. The private pool villas are comfortable, modern, and kept very clean. The staff are all friendly and helpful. Easy access to an uncrowded beach with no hawkers, etc. Gorgeous!||NOTE: Be certain that you really want to be immersed in their "Wellness" theme. The Spa is the focus, and rightfully so. You will see guests wearing their room bathrobes everywhere in public, including restaurant terrace, etc. The food is overwhelmingly focused on healthy alternative ingredients that mostly lacked seasoning and texture - to my palate at least. But the dishes were all very beautifully presented. ||Screaming children absolutely killed the relaxation vibe for all other guests. ("Wellness Resort" should be "Adults Only," no?)||Most disappointingly, we were charged for tea while waiting in the guest lounge during cleaning of our room. (The same tea that we could have had for free in our room.)

This is the second time my family came back to TIA this year (first time was during Tết). Beautiful resort and nice staff. They have a very health conscious concept which is great but it honestly makes their F&B suffer - would not recommend dining here for lunch and dinner. Spa is inclusive and it’s amazing, really recommend booking the private sauna.

This was just an outstanding stay. Can't wait to return. The villa was lovely and we each had an 80 minute treatment per day of our stay. My partner and I had the BEST back massage we have ever had. It was totally therapeutic and the therapist was exceptionally skilled and it was obvious. Everything from the health conscious mini bar snacks to the extensive range of health aware and awesome restaurant menu and lush outdoor grounds was top quality and style. Can't praise the entire establishment and all features and services enough. We recommend this property to anyone visiting Da Nang.

I had an incredible experience at TIA Wellness Resort! The location is fantastic, with plenty of restaurants nearby, and getting there by Grab was a breeze. The service was top-notch; the staff were fluent in English and incredibly helpful throughout my stay. The environment was both beautiful and comfortable. My room was spacious, featuring a private swimming pool that was spotless. I loved the healthy snacks and drinks, including refreshing detox water. The best part? The room rate included an 80-minute spa treatment, a delicious buffet breakfast, and wellness activities like yoga and HIIT sessions. It's clear they prioritize not just physical health but also mental well-being. The infinity pool and beach views were simply breathtaking! I also want to highlight their quick email responses. I accidentally left something behind at checkout, and they got back to me almost immediately. Their attention to detail is commendable. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I highly recommend TIA Wellness Resort to anyone looking to unwind and rejuvenate!

My partner and I visited TIA Wellness Resort in Da Nang as part of our first trip to Vietnam. After spending time in Saigon and Nha Trang, we chose TIA to meet our parents in Da Nang and enjoy some relaxation time. We booked a two-bedroom garden view villa with a private pool primarily for the wellness aspect and the beauty of the grounds. Check-In and First Impressions Check-in was smooth but lacked the warmth we expected from a wellness resort. However, the initial impression of the villa was positive—lush greenery, a private pool, and two separate bedrooms with private bathrooms. First Night Incident: Heater Fire On the first night, the AC unit in our villa malfunctioned, leaving the room extremely cold. The staff provided a space heater for my parents’ room, but within minutes of installation, the heater caught fire, filling the room with smoke and toxic fumes. Thankfully, we reacted quickly, but the room was no longer usable due to the damage. Room Relocation and Upgrade The next morning, the manager was extremely kind and offered us an upgrade to a three-bedroom beachfront villa for the remainder of our stay. The upgraded villa was stunning, with breathtaking ocean views, a large pool, and ample space for the family. However, there was no direct beach access from the villa due to bushes blocking the path, which required walking to the main pool area to access the beach. Resort Amenities and Wellness Experience • Daily 80-Minute Massages: Each adult enjoyed a complimentary 80-minute massage daily, which was a highlight, especially for our parents. • Breakfast and Wellness Perks: Daily breakfast was included, though the buffet had limited variety. TIA also replenished the fridge every morning with detox water and wellness snacks, which was a thoughtful touch. • Beautiful Grounds: The resort is surrounded by lush greenery and well-maintained paths, creating a serene atmosphere. Staff and Service The staff was courteous, attentive, and spoke decent English. Since we speak Vietnamese, communication was smooth. Housekeeping was thorough, with daily replenishment and cleaning that kept the villa spotless. Dining Limitations and Resort Access • Limited Food Options: The lunch and dinner menus lacked variety, and the quality was underwhelming. As a result, we often left the resort to eat elsewhere. • No Kitchen Facilities: The villa had a sink and fridge but no kitchen, which meant we couldn’t prepare our own meals—a bit inconvenient when dining options were limited. • Location: The resort is about a 10-minute Uber drive from the main beach area and downtown Da Nang. The Oceanfront Villa Experience Our stay was elevated by the unexpected upgrade to the beachfront villa, which made the experience more memorable. However, now that we’ve experienced that villa, it’s hard to imagine staying anywhere else at TIA. Unfortunately, the beachfront villa is quite expensive, so returning would depend on finding a more favorable rate. Final Thoughts and Recommendations TIA Wellness Resort offers a peaceful and luxurious escape with attentive service, clean grounds, and thoughtful wellness amenities. However, prospective guests should be aware of: • The limited food variety and lack of kitchen facilities. • The potential inconvenience of having to leave the resort frequently for meals. • Booking the beachfront villa may be worth the extra expense for an unforgettable experience. Despite the initial setback with the heater incident, we had a great time overall and would consider returning—if we can secure that beachfront villa!

These guys really go above and beyond to make sure you're accommodated for sure! We booked the private ride from/to the airport and it definitely made the whole experience more seamless. The wellness treatments you get daily are TOP notch. The people they have to perform the treatments are also all very well-trained and each treatment wass a gem. Grab easily comes to the entrance of the resort if you want a ride or want anything delivered. Would definitely recommend this place and I would definitely visit again!
