Tiamo Resort

Tiamo is a special property in a very unique location. The staff was outstanding and focused on insuring their customers experienced all that the area and The Tiamo resort had to offer.

This resort on this secluded island is gorgeous. We took two planes, a car and a boat to get to Andros. The staff was wonderful and welcoming. They went above and beyond for anything we asked or needed. The villas were clean and spacious. I've never seen water so beautiful. Water activities were great. Snorkeling was phenomenal. Biggest negative were the sand flies. We look and feel like we have chicken pox. We used the oils supplied by the resort and brought deet. Nothing worked. Unfortunately for me, the sand flies ruined an almost perfect romantic trip. I'm sad to say, I would not return because of the sand flies.

This is a fantastic resort for someone that wants a remote and secluded luxury location. The staff (Victor, Fred, Antoine) are fantastic, welcoming, efficient, and always ready to help. The food is delicious and innovative. Snorkeling at the many blue holes, caves, and island was marvelous. The rooms/villas are comfortable and private. The only significant downside are the insects. The main times they are an issue are at sunset and meals. We wore long pants and socks to avoid getting bit and this mostly solved the issue for us. Again, a fantastic resort that is a bargain compared to other alternatives at the same level.

Secluded resort that can only be accessed by boat or sea plane in an amazing location with beautiful beaches and clear waters. |This is a peaceful resort perfect for relaxing while enjoying nature. |Victor the host, always makes sure you have and excellent experience looking after every detail. Antoine’s chef food is excellent and manager Fred is always around to help. This was our second visit and we will definitely come back soon. Thank you!

TIAMO was a fantastic resort. The grounds were beautiful. The three-bedroom home we stayed in was really beautiful. The food breakfast lunch and dinner was delicious. The staff was really amazing. Super fun and paid attention to every detail. We went fishing, snorkeling, kayaking, paddle boarding. Relax by the pool and by the ocean. One of the best family vacations we’ve had in years. Highly recommend it. Thanks again to the staff for making our vacation so great

My wife and I went to Tiamo Resort on our belated honeymoon and we fell in love with the place!||It is extremely private, which we loved, with only a few other couples there with us in early November. The villa was spacing and very comfortable. We had our own pool and the ocean was a 30 second walk from our villa. There was great snorkeling right in front of the villa. The weather was consistently around 80 degrees and was perfect. We paddleboarded a lot and loved exploring nearby beaches. One day the staff invited all of the guests on their boat to check out "The Blue Hole", a series of large holes in the ocean nearby. There was coral and many types of fish. We dove for conch shells that they used to prepare appetizers for lunch and dinner.||We were a little worried about traveling there since we hadn't done a trip like this on our own, but it was a painless process to fly into Congo Town (we used one of their recommended airlines from Fort Lauderdale) and reach the resort. A driver picked us up and took us to a boat that brought us to the resort.||The staff were incredible! Victor was extremely professional and made sure we had everything we wanted. Antoine is an incredible chef and we loved every dish he served. He would come out each night to ask how our days were and to see how we liked dinner. Both were very nice and fun to be around. We would have breakfast out in front of the restaurant, lunch on a deck near the pool, and dinner inside the restaurant. They had a great selection of rums for us to try.||There was a small hurricane while we were there, but it wasn't a big deal at all. It barely rained and the wind wasn't too strong. The power did go out for a little bit, but they have a generator so it was no issue. ||The resort is very isolated, so definitely bring what you need. That being said, they could accommodate most needs we had.||All in all it was an amazing trip. I highly recommend. Thank you to everyone at Tiamo!

Special peaceful place to truly get away from the world. Gorgeous waterside setting with beautiful and comfortable villa and private pool that feels like it's your own private resort. Food way surpassed any expectations and every meal (in fact every course of every meal) was exquisitely presented and so delicious. Activities were seamlessly scheduled and led by personable guides that truly knew the area. General Manager was always present and available at any moment to help with every need. Highly recommend for those looking to get away from stresses of life.

This was probably the most relaxing vacation we've ever taken, both because of the property's setting and seclusion and the level of personal service received from staff. The dining, cocktails and wine were among the best I've experienced at a resort. The rooms were well appointed and the common areas well maintained. The service was top-notch.
