Experience breathtaking natural landscapes and crystal-clear air. If you visit in March, be sure to bring a hat and a raincoat. You can choose between a short scenic route (about 1.5 hours) or a longer, more adventurous trek (around 3 hours).

Most incredible park, even better than the National Park. There was so much fog unfortunately but the hike on top of the mountain made it so worth it, despite it. I recommend also for you to take route B, as it allows you to do the 999 Stairs to Heaven first and finish with the hike on top of the mountain. It is also a much less crowded route. You do end up taking the cableway, downward at the end of your visit

The cable car up was just fast enough to enjoy the views- could use some A/C though. Going down the 999 steps was a great experience and the glass paths were awesome.

Unfortunately the day I went it was very foggy but it was still an amazing experience. The cable car took us to the mountain and the rest of the journey was taken on many, many escalators but the view was still amazing. I can only imagine how breathtaking it would have been without the fog. The glass walkway was very fun to walk through and I was still able to take some amazing photos.

The half day trip taking a cable car to the top, walking around mountain, traveling down 7 long escalators to Heavens Gate, then the 999 steps to the bottom then another cable car down is a must experience. Even though we had a very foggy day and couldnt see 5 metres in front of us the experience was worth it.

Tianmen is literally translated to heaven's gate and Tianmen mountain features a large cave that looks like a massive gate. This mountain is over 1500 meters high so the temperature at the top is quite cool and is foggy in the morning. This place is really awesome and you can easily spend a week here since it's so massive.

This place truly had the potential to be a 6/5 but wasn’t for several reasons, hopefully you’ll have better luck. The goods- the natural scenery is not bad and the line a cable car is the best in the world as it’s super long and picturesque. The bads- super dependent on weather which was bad for me, and the gondola for really nice and long cable car took me an hour to wait for. Quick tour guide tips, there are tour lines a b and c. Don’t do c. Most people do an although b is just fine.

We are not good enough to climb the 999 stairs, thus go for the longest cable car ride up Tianmen Mountain. The view from the Cable Car Ride was breathtakingly beautiful and jaw-dropping as it passed through dramatic cliffs, deep valleys, and seemingly floating above clouds! Our guide told us the glasses on the Mountain Glass Walk is green instead of transparent as it will relieve some visitors who are afraid to look down. It was very crowded, the Park Staff urged everyone to move forward, but we did managed to finished the walk the three glass skywalks!! There are a total of 12 Escalator ,7 segments from the top of the mountain to Tianmen Cave. At this area, many tourists crowding beneath the majestic scenery of a strange hole in the middle of the high mountain, a natural architect by God. It really very challenging to explore nature, as everyone is trying to snap a picture of it. Next we proceed to take the next 5 segments down to the base of the Tianmen Mountain.. The Escalators are brightly-lit with colorful billboards hanging ont both sides of the wall. All in all, indeed a natural wonder, worth to visit, a photographer haven. However a word of caution , although there are escalators to go up the hill, it is still plenty to walk, not advisable for the weak knees, kids and disabilitis, maybe a pathway for wheelchair and stroller could help !!!
