We have stayed for 5 nights at Tianna Garden Village and what a beautiful place it is to stay. Just 20 minutes drive from the city is a small slice of accessible paradise.|The area is lovely, but travelling to and from the destination can be a little difficult. We rented a scooter which cost us 150-200 baht per day (about £4) and is only really an option if you are a competent driver and feeling brave.|The accommodation was cabana style, hardwood floors, air conditioning and fridge with a nice comfy bed. Cleaners come in each day (though they are quite terrible at doing this sneakily and we caught them several times making our stay a little awkward). The whole atmosphere is a little strange and slightly unnerving, especially as it seems we are the only guests here! It did make us feel a little unwelcome.|The breakfast is fantastic and the staff are very attentive, though they do not speak any english, they are really lovely. |THIS RESORT DOES NOT TAKE VISA OR CARDS although it states it on the website so please be careful if, like us, you planned on paying by card! We had to sit for two hours struggling to find a way to pay online. Not fun!!! |The pool is small, but in the sun all day and freezing cold which makes it fantastic to cool off in! |Overall I would say this resort is a little overpriced, but worth visiting if you are like us and can't stand the city for too long. The manager/owner is the only one who speaks english, and makes the stay a little awkward as he is very rarely around to ask questions! Nice place to stay, but a little bit of a pain when it comes to the small details.
