We are currently staying at this hotel and so far it has been disappointing. The room smelled strongly of mold, the carpet is filthy, and we even found leftovers from previous guests under the bed. The beds are tiny and rock hard, the bathroom dark and unclean, and the elevator small and dirty. To reach the pool and beach you have to walk through the restaurant in swimwear, which is very unpleasant. The pool has only cheap plastic sunbeds, far from five-star standard. Breakfast is ok, but not five Star standard, limited choice, and only machine coffee, while a proper espresso machine sits unused behind the bar. On top of that, plates are not cleared away even when only a handful of tables are occupied. At check-in, there was no welcome drink or warm greeting, and although we arrived very early and were promised a call once the room was ready, nobody had contacted us even at 4 pm, one hour after official check-in.
When we asked to change rooms because of the mold, they agreed. But when we asked for a room with a larger bed, we were told it would cost an additional €200–300 per night, which is unacceptable for a five-star hotel.
On the positive side, the staff in the restaurant, at the pool, and on the beach are very friendly and attentive. It’s also great that activities like stand-up paddleboards are free to use and easy to take whenever you want. The Sea access is also great. Unfortunately, these positives cannot balance out the many issues we have already experienced.
