We stayed in this charming hotel for 5 nights and I must say that we did not want to leave this place for a minute. Everything was excellent! The service, location, food, beach – all top-notch. The live music every day added to the wonderful experience. It was truly a delight to stay here. We are absolutely in love with the Cote d'Azur and have visited a number of wonderful hotels in the area. We thought that nothing could surprise us anymore, but here we are, completely charmed and delighted by our stay at this fantastic place.

We are currently staying at this hotel and so far it has been disappointing. The room smelled strongly of mold, the carpet is filthy, and we even found leftovers from previous guests under the bed. The beds are tiny and rock hard, the bathroom dark and unclean, and the elevator small and dirty. To reach the pool and beach you have to walk through the restaurant in swimwear, which is very unpleasant. The pool has only cheap plastic sunbeds, far from five-star standard. Breakfast is ok, but not five Star standard, limited choice, and only machine coffee, while a proper espresso machine sits unused behind the bar. On top of that, plates are not cleared away even when only a handful of tables are occupied. At check-in, there was no welcome drink or warm greeting, and although we arrived very early and were promised a call once the room was ready, nobody had contacted us even at 4 pm, one hour after official check-in. When we asked to change rooms because of the mold, they agreed. But when we asked for a room with a larger bed, we were told it would cost an additional €200–300 per night, which is unacceptable for a five-star hotel. On the positive side, the staff in the restaurant, at the pool, and on the beach are very friendly and attentive. It’s also great that activities like stand-up paddleboards are free to use and easy to take whenever you want. The Sea access is also great. Unfortunately, these positives cannot balance out the many issues we have already experienced.

We booked this hotel for our daughter’s 22nd birthday and college graduation celebration. ||About 4 days before check in I sent an email confirming our stay and arrival time. I was informed we had been moved to a sister hotel because they had labor this hotel for our stay. We had booked and paid 50% deposit up front 9 months prior. We were very disappointed. They did not communicate to us at all. They just said we moved you to another property. We had wanted a beach vacation and were sent to their hotel on the hill. No beach or water access. They did send us to a beach club to spend $200 of our own money on a day at the beach. They upgraded us to junior suites which was nice. ||Staff were nice but the young people who worked there couldn’t even open a wine bottle. My husband had to show him and do it for him. The front desk staff were often on personal calls for 30-40 minutes at a time. You just had to wait to get their attention. They must be the owners children or something. ||Buyer beware of this hotel group. I would not recommend. There are nicer hotels in this very high price point. They likely have better service as well.

We had planned to stay for the week but checked out after our initial two nights.||The rooms are nicely decorated but shockingly dirty for a 5-star hotel. The rug looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in years, the toilet seat was loose, and the toilet brush holder was literally caked with grime.||Throughout the hotel there’s a foul smell. Luckily it didn’t creep into our room, but in the corridors and common areas it was overpowering. It’s more sewage than sea breeze. Not exactly the healthy environment you’d expect, especially if you’re travelling with kids or anyone with asthma.||The beach area is poorly maintained. There are two ways into the water: a straight metal ladder, and a metal staircase fitted with wooden planks. The staircase was covered in green moss, slippery to the point of danger, and one of the planks was missing from the bottom step. For older guests or anyone not paying close attention, that’s a real hazard. Not to mention the beach guy is never there, it’s impossible to order food or drinks.||Avoid letting the valet touch your luggage or car. They scratched ours, and when we raised it, management hid behind the cameras and insisted the damage must have been there before. Unbelievably dismissive for a so-called luxury hotel.||The property itself feels dated and mismanaged. Guests are even being poached by a manager from the neighbouring chateau who paddles over on a kayak … which says it all.||On the plus side, the restaurant team were excellent. They went above and beyond every day, and the food was genuinely delicious. The front-of-house staff were kind too, but they’re working uphill against poor management and neglect.||Maybe this place was truly special 20 years ago. Today it’s tired, unsafe in parts, and far from 5-star standards. Unless things change drastically, I can’t recommend it.

Do NOT stay here. This is not a 5 star resort. The only redeeming quality is the beachfront. Cleaning supplies were left in the room. We called to the front desk to let them know we had to check out early. No one was at the desk and it took them 30 min to get our car. No one came to offer us anything at the pool or beach. If we wanted food or a drink we had to go find someone ourselves. We asked for fresh towels multiple times and they were not delivered to the room. The walls are paper thin.

Everything about this hotel exceeded expectations! I simply cannot understand any of the negative reviews on here, because everything from the service, the food, to the actual hotel itself was completely stunning. The staff members were so friendly at the restaurant and reception, and we played tennis right when we checked in, which was so much fun. The hotel is a beautiful property in a secluded cove on the ocean. Of course, the pool restaurant was closed during this time, but that’s because we were there before the south of France “season”. That being said, the regular restaurant was absolutely delicious and we had an incredibly private romantic dinner overlooking the water. Breakfast was also over the top with lots of choices. Would recommend this to anyone.

Sadly had a awful time I understand it is one of the budget places on the coast my negatives being cleanliness blood floors in the public bathrooms and the feeling of wanting to rush out because how horrible it was the outside is very warn down more than In the pictures food In cracks of the dining tables and built up dirt not very nice when your on vacation and trying to enjoy with the price of dinner (€200) staff had miscommunication and when asked move we got pushed away by another staff. Parasol hit my partners head (wind not hotels fault) outside but says a lot about the facilitys as he’s left bloody injured and coffee went everywhere no one cleaned it up so we sat In it and so did the people in front of us. We lasted Less than 24 hours it was really bad we also asked for the manager and they were apparently not available and the front desk was so dismissive I wish i had read the bad reviews as all of the ones for this hotel were right awful staff in the beach club. The one meal we had was pleasant can’t complain I can only complain how bad the electric piano is what is going on It was like sitting while someone plays Mario kart Please don’t choose here for you trip we moved not to far away and are now having the best time at a real 5* hotel for the same price please don’t make the mistake we did such a same very disappointed it was just really cheap and grubby if that’s your thing

On arrival the reception was great. Showed us to our room which had a balcony facing the sea. Room was beautifully appointed with lots of complimentary elements including beer and soft drinks in the fridge. ||The breakfast was first class. Friendly and warm service. The buffet was excellent and expertly presented. Hot food also available with everything from cooked breakfasts to fresh crepes and delicious omelettes. ||3 night stay in April. Weather was a bit rubbish but when the sun came out on the last day you could really see how this hotel would be even more amazing in warm and sunny weather. The gardens and sunbed areas are really well presented in both the main areas and then in the more private spots around the gardens. ||We flew in to Nice airport and drove the 40 mins to the hotel. One suggestion if you’re hiring a car is an electric vehicle. Every time we went out and came back the concierge would park it up charge it and at no additional cost (there is a standard overnight parking charge) . So much easier given we did quite a bit of driving during our visit. ||The hotel is in a lovely quiet location but less than 10 minutes drive from a number of local restaurants. We would certainly return here again and again. ||And a big thank you to all the staff who made the stay so enjoyable.
