Great view and clean, that's about it.|I do not know how they rate hotels in Egypt but it would get one star in USA.|Every time I came back to the room the card key would not work and had to go to the reception to get it reset. I run out of water in the middle of a shower, after two requests and a 30 minute wait I finally got barely warm water.|The breakfast had poor selection and quality.|Would not recommend.|

In short, receptionists are not professionals at all, I.e. must show reservation number and surname does not work, no good advice given, felt we were judged by our appearance. Noisy and inoperative aircon combined with traffic noise piercing through the windows (single glazed). TV does not work, there is no tea/coffee in the room. Toilet bathroom is extremely bad as you cannot shower (too small pane). Room card/key needs activating every time you go out and at times, the receptionist did wrong activation so did not open the door. Breakfast served in packed cases as there is no buffet system. All liquids (hot/cold) served in paper cups. There is no bar facilities & sauna only opens at 2pm. Overall, this hotel does not deserve ratings of any stars. Based on the facilities and non- professional staff, I truly believe this hotel is merely 1*. I shall never ever return to this hotel and will not suggest anybody to use this hotel. Only good points are, it’s very near from Pyramids and hot water works instantly.

One of great accommodation you can reach the great pyramids of Giza within 15-20 minutes (pyramids view can be seen at fifth floor). Facilities are limited with no pool, no coffee shop. Room amenities are as similar as the other 3 star hotels. Services sound impressive.

In Giza we stayed at Tiba Hotel. Our room was booked by the group guide on behalf of the travel agency with whom we traveled to Egypt. The hotel looks great on the outside, as does the reception area. The room as well. In fact, I would say it's a small apartment because, besides the bedroom, there is another room that would take the place of a living room. Spacious bathroom. The furniture looks almost new. In the bathroom we found that we had a problem with the toilet: the basin was not supplied with water, practically could not flush the toilet. I went down to the front desk to complain about the situation. Luckily our guide was there. He talked to the front desk staff and they changed our room immediately. It's on the same floor, it has the same position, meaning from the window we can see the pyramids, inside it's structured the same. Luckily, we didn't unpack too much of our luggage. |Breakfast was OK, we found what to put on the plate so as not to leave hungry.

On arrival we thought this would be a good hotel. After sorting out issues with our booking when the young receptionist was brilliant. We ordered dinner which came 1 hour before our booked time. It was brought in from a place outside. The food was cold. Our room was basic. Missing TV remote control. There was a kettle but no cups or drinks etc. It was very noisy. Cannot recommend this.

Very friendly staff, but the street noise is incredible - with a nice view on the crazy traffic though. Clean rooms but in the summer (off season for Egypt) there is no restaurant. The breakfast scared us away across the street.

The rooms were a disappointment for a 'four star' hotel my wife and I were expected much better standards, the cleanliness of the rooms were acceptable however, we were provided with twin beds as apposed to a double bed, with very little alternatives we were forced to push the beds together. The so called pyramid view was blocked by a large pillar we were promised a room change as soon as one became available; this never happened during our 8 days stay. The room service was great and for only 100EGP we were provided a full course meal to the room for one person which was to a high standard.

The hotel which has spoiled our travel. We arrived at night and been given a terribly small room. We've payed for double standart room but the size been equal to a double economy room if to be positive, really it's been a closet. It's been dirty, with a hairs and trash at the corners and under the table, the size been uncomfortable even for one person. "The pyramid view" turned to be a next building dirty windows view. The conditioner weren't working at all. It's noisy, we could hear everything happening on the corridor: slamming doors, footsteps, talks. It's been 3 marks on the walls and pillar with a boot mark and a dead mosquito. It's been ridiculous, I thought that happens only on comedian films as a literal grotesque symbolism. The eyehole at the door been broken with a plug made of paper. Behind my pillow it's been a screw. Surprisingly they gave us one big towel for me and my wife so I had to ask for a second. Also there's even no soap on the check-in. I will remind you we moved here at night after a long bus trip so the only one thing we wanted is to fall asleep deadly. At the morning I had to ask to clean our room to make it at least less disgusting to stay at. Then I been pushing the receptionist to repair our conditioner. He's been always forgetting about that, every time I been comming again (even in the same day) he's been recording the info again and making the look he's hearing that for the first time in eternity and really sad to hear that. On the third or fourth turn of my pushes a new receptionist told he'll check the device right from the reception deck (!), in 5 minutes he told we can move to another room because our conditioner is totally broken (thanks, we already know that for 2 days already). They moved us to a normal double standard room with an adequate view on the street (if it would be no highway I believe we could see the part of a pyramid complex at horizon). The second room was the room we expected, it was normally cleaned, with working devices and an adequate size twice bigger the closet we've been living. But the trust and expectations were spoiled heavily. The location is good, easily to go Pyramids on foot, to go museums on taxi (use Uber, local taxists are lying terribly with a prices!). Giza is a trashhole with swarms of dirty beggars but we been expecting that. Watch the pickpocketers, they're everywhere, we saw a european woman that been pickpocketed and lost her wallet or telephone, so sorry for her. It's a couple of shisha bars with adequate service in that region. Behind the hotel on the next street it's a locals selling home-cooked flat breads for a penny. The breakfast is so-so, mostly a porridge, bread, small amounts of fruits, a jam, not a good coffee, tea and powdered juice. Also we noticed the different level of attention from the staff depending on the room quality of a guest at the breakfast. When we were living on the 2nd floor at that closet we been greeted and nothing more. When we moved to the 4th floor the staff been carrying a food to our table and asking if we want something else they can get for us. Same to other quests, it's been no hard to understand which guests are from "non-prestige" rooms (sitting alone) or from a "prestige" rooms (always staff around talking to them and smiling). Maybe it's a fantasy but me and my wife mentioned that separately and then came to the same idea we shared. We saw some cigarette butts on the stairs and, surprisingly, a dirty plate which been left on the stairs and been staying there for a whole day. So the level of cleanliness at that hotel is below expected.
