200% recommended… I love the vibes! Here the people are really nice and fun, they made me feel welcomed! There is always something to do, activities and tours (I really recommend the food experience with Victor, where I could try a lot of different and delicious food from mexican culture. The structure itself is fantastic, comfy beds, lot of bathrooms, cozy zone and a big pool! Can’t wait to come back :)

I love this hostel in Oaxaca that it's spacious with a grill area and pool, plus a bar with amazing prices. The kitchen is super equipped, even with spices! The staff and volunteers are all super friendly, and the hostel atmosphere is great, did a lot friends- comfy dorms, they have activities every day. Even Spanish lessons!On Wednesdays, they offer a tour to Abastos, the city's largest market, where I tried the best memelas! They also have Mexican nights with delicious traditional food like mole. I'm happy to return and stay more days 😊

The tours they offer at are amazing! Great your guides for food tour and the waterfalls. Rooms are okay, bathrooms are well… they are there. But no hot water and some of them look very dirty. However if u r staying for a few night it’s totally okay and the staff is super friendly.

I had an amazing stay at ticuchi! The highlight was definitely joining Victor’s tour! All the food was so delicious and Victor gave us so much information! It was also really great as a vegetarian there was loads of options! Would definitely recomend!

The absolute best hostal I have stayed at! The owner & staff / volunteers are amazing & so much fun to get to know! The beds are super comfy & clean, and there is always something going on! It’s such a fun, welcoming environment and the energy is always great! I will miss this little family ❤️

This was the best hostel I experienced in Mexico over the course of 40 days. It's a perfect mix of laid-back vibes to meet people in the day and social events if you want to enjoy yourself at night. The staff are phenomenal and really make this place shine. Shoutout to René, Arturo, and everyone else for a great experience!

One of the worst private rooms I have stayed in. The room is not soundproof at all, you can hear everything in the next room and on the outside. It’s located right on the kitchen / sitting area so be prepared for a lot of noise. Very loud music everyday until 11pm. But the worst thing was the shower, there was barely any pressure and most of the time the water was very cold. I heard similar complaints from guests staying in the dorms. Definitely not worth the money for the private room.

Amazing food tour run by Victor! Very authentic food experiences (with family run businesses he’s known since he was 12), runs for 4 hours and you get to taste a range of foods, drinks, fruits, and even a craft beer tasting at the end. 10/10 experience :)
