Amazing flat white and Mocca. Thank you for catering to dietary needs, really appreciate it. Egg and Bacon rolls awesome. Thank you for using my gluten free roll, so I could also have egg and bacon roll, was so delicious. Thank you friendly happy staff.

Best calamari rings I had! Very fresh and tasty! Quite stocked up and staff are friendly. But beware of the seagulls waiting for you outside when you are having your lunch, especially your chips 🍟

It doesn't look very big at first glance from the outside but it's actually quite big inside, had more items than I initially expected, especially considering its location. In addition to your everyday groceries, they also have souvenirs, clothing, toys, souvenirs, hot and cold cafe style food, some hiking and camping equipment. Friendly staff.

Lovely selection of sweet treats - the lemon meringue pie was TDF (to die for)! Coffee needs an extra shot (so order one), but is extra hot and good for warming the soul.

Update: Bring cash with you, they are in a remote location. Buy: Alcohol, Smokes and Petrol at Yanakie General Store, as it's not sold at Tidal River. Edit: General Store will be under new management in November 2025. Coffee $6.50 - one size, with one shot. Extra charge for Almond & Soy milk. (I prefer 2 shots). Oasis products now in stock. Incl: salads, breads baked daily, cakes, variety of gluten free snacks and lollies. Fried food (salt and vinegar located on counter for your convenience) & burgers, all made to order, salads - Fruit salad. Salads also vary at times. A variety of rolls, falafel wraps, focaccias (made daily), Fruit - banana, apple, orange, lemon. Limited vegies tomato, cucumber, potatoes & onions. Cold drinks, Nippy flavoured milk, souvenirs may vary at times. Maps (all online now), ice, gas swap. Queues and wait times can be long, (the staff are helpful and friendly) but the food is worth the wait.

Tidal Wave General Store , honestly, I wasn’t expecting much. I had read some reviews before coming, with complaints about prices, limited stock, etc. But after a long day touring Wilsons Prom, I was just happy to find a shop where I could grab some chips and (very expensive) water. Let’s be real when you’re in a national park with no other options, you know the prices will be high. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re hungry or running low on water it’s convenient and gets the job done. If you’re not happy about the prices, maybe stock up before entering the park. Otherwise, enjoy nature and don’t let your snack budget ruin the vibe!

Extremely Disappointing Experience – Would Give Zero Stars if Possible Our visit was completely ruined by the behaviour of one staff member, Jenny, who was at the counter preparing burgers. She was loud, rude, and unnecessarily aggressive with us, creating a very unpleasant and uncomfortable environment. What made it even more disturbing was noticing how her tone and attitude changed completely when interacting with local (Australian) customers — she was calm and courteous with them. This stark contrast made us feel singled out and discriminated against, possibly due to our race or background. While the rest of the staff were polite and our coffees were fine, Jenny’s behaviour overshadowed the entire experience. I’m extremely unhappy with the way we were treated, and I sincerely hope this issue is taken seriously by the organisation running this place.

Not happy, we drove to this place just for a coffee and they told us it’s not available 40min before closing. After being denied coffee service, we asked for milkshakes instead, which they were also unable to make. Is it really that difficult to blend a milkshake? If you’re unable to serve beverages 45 mins before closing then you may as well advertise an earlier closing
