This place is magical. There are wonderful and unique gifts, great candy, vintage decor and the best staff there itch a great s nose of humor: the vibe here is amazing.

Fun! Fun! Fun! The shop has so many little knikknacks, souvenirs, candles other fun stuff to bring home and loose on you desk or in a pocket. Those little things are awesome as a sock staffings or just a cute little gift.

Lived in Sonoma since 2017 and finally made my way into this establishment. Was interested in getting some gifts for the kids but glad I didn't. Once I entered the store where the tall Caucasian male staff walked passed me twice, I wasn't greeted at all or asked if I needed help finding anything but couldn't help but over hear him greet the other customers as they were shopping. Thanks for the unpleasant experience definitely won't be returning or telling anyone else to.

Love this little shop! They have many trinkets and candies to look at and buy for pretty cheap. I bought a little plastic bird call for me and my sister.

What a fun store. Powell's eat your heart out. Tiddle E. Winks is on the up and up. From candy to vintage toys, this store has a bit of just enough to bring you back to your childhood. In another 20 years or so kids won't even know what half the stuff in this store is all about but hopefully the owners can do their best to keep a part of the fun history alive. Make sure to grab all that you can because the prices are reasonable for candies you don't see often.

I ordered an item online from Tiddle E. Winks and had to comment on their great service. The website was easy to navigate, the order form was well laid out and populated some of the information for me. I got a quick email acknowledgement and the product was delivered on time as promised. The customer service in the store is great as well. The owner will help you look for an item even if it's not in the store. Darling gift shop with a range of gifts that suit my subversive and silly side, as well as items I can send for birthdays to relatives who don't share that vibe. Slowly collecting fun socks from their display to keep my feet warm while I work from home. Staff are great, and so are the prices. I love to stop in when I'm nearby to pick up a book order or have a hair appointment.

Although I am from Hawaii, my online experience with Tiddle E Winks was great! I've been trying to find a store that was shipping two specific snoopy palm pals since the palm pal site doesn't ship to Hawaii, and I came across this store! My order came in about 3 business days and was shipped very quickly! I am glad to have given my business to a small local shop in California and definitely will try to visit the store if I'm ever in the area some day.

Love this sweet little shoppe . Old fashion & lots of cool small items . All the kids I get things for just freak & they also love to come here , so many little trippy things . Retro toys , play things , tons of candy & funny mugs . Check it out !

Visit on 11-04-12. The store is located along the strip of shops at the Sonoma Plaza. We were in the area doing a little window shopping and enjoying the last bit of warm weather before the winter chills. My family came upon this quaint store and we walked in for a visit. The store is crowded with all kinds of candy, collectibles, and classic games filling every corner. A quick walk through and I was pretty much done with my visit. Also, not a single person greeted me, asked if I needed help, or said bye as I left. Still, if you find yourself in the area, this store is worth a stop during your Sonoma Plaza visit. (+) lots of retro candy, remember Pop Rocks?

This is a wonderful store full of souvenirs, gifts, candy and toys. It's so fun walking around in there checking everything out. I love the antique toys and games decor and the funny cards. Great selection of unique Sonoma and California items like bags, towels, and glasses. Cool old style toys like Spirograph and bendy figures. It's a bit off the square but make sure to look for it.

Came to town to visit the pumpkin patch and visited downtown after and this by far was my favorite place we visited!! I could spend all day in that store and the lady working was the sweetest. Definitely recommend checking out for a bit of nostalgia:)

I visited this shop for the first time in February because I needed a quick gift for a friend and my mom. Upon entry, there was no greeting- hello, goodbye, nothing, as I browsed their selection of trinkets. There was maybe 1 other person in the shop, so it wasn't as though they were busy. Anyway, I did not find anything, so I left.

This is the Best Stocking Stuffer Store Ever! So said Gayle as she happily filled up her basket for various members of our extended Family. We first came in near closing time on Friday, returned to our Guest House to lay them all out, and then returned on Saturday to pick up the Angel Monkey she wanted, and to further supplement the collection. It's a fun and colourful store, with lots of temptation, and which features a wide variety of stuff tucked in many places throughout. It's a fun and well-organized place to explore and I discovered something new with each visit. I picked up a few things myself, the best item being a magnetic button that said - Chai (in Hebrew Letters) Maintenance. There's also a mezuzah on the store door, so I enjoyed the little bit of Holiday Ruach that was spread around the sales floor. Tiddle E Winks also carries an extensive selection of vintage (but fresh) candy, including the Twin Bing - An Iowa favourite.

pop rocks $1, marukawa gum $2.50 reliving my childhood: priceless store is , well a candy store so its really pretty and colorful! So many retro kitschy goodness you can buy for your apartment. I also like the retro toys -there are vintage/antique ones displayed on higher shelves - for display only- and the lady behind the counter is such a sweetie. i LOVE this place! its amazing!

Not exactly Five&Dime. They used to have a larger selection of vintage candies&books. However, they do have great souvenir towels for major cities and all 50 states. It's a pleasant stop for stocking stuffers. They have fun refrigerator magnet toys like Make your Own Deity, or Frida Kahlo with her various frocks. A fun, unpretentious place in Sonoma. Fits in with the Plaza's homey character.

Our favorite go-to shopping spot every time we are in Napa. We cannot pass this up, we can always find some goodies, whether some retro candy, gifts, or just something for the house. No matter what it is, whether we need it or not, they always have something special. Heidi the owner is always so pleasant (as well as anyone we meet here), and Scooter is always so happy to greet us at the counter. This is a true 5 & Dime and we love everything about this store.

Very cute store for gifts. They have candy too. I really liked this large rubber duck with grape garb, appropriate for wine country but pricely at $15. We bought a Catstudio collegiate towel for a friend which is priced retail at $20, what you'd find at the same pricing for the company. Unlike other Yelpers, we found the cashier at the desk very friendly and she greeted us when we came in the door and allowed us to wander around the tiny store until we found something that caught our eye.

Such a fun store right near the Sonoma square shopping area. There are a ton of vintage inspired magnets, mugs and much more. There is a definite feeling of nostalgia coming in when you see all the different knick knacks. They have everything from California/Sonoma Valley themed souvenirs to pulp style mirrors, wall art & stationery. If you're looking for a unique birthday card, they have year specific cards that talk about what happened the year of your birth. The staff is always friendly and I've made some great gift purchases at Tiddle E Winks Vintage. Definitely a must-stop whenever I am in Sonoma.

I drove an hour to get to Sonoma to visit the little stores with yours drawing me to the town. When I arrived I saw a note stating you will open Later than stated on the web-site so I shopped the other stores and went back just to see you wouldn't be opened till an hour later!! I was very disappointed and would've loved to have gone in an bought many of the things I could see from the window. Your lose maybe next time you'll open on time!!

REAL Customer Service!!! I'm in love :) My father ordered an office-warming gift of a quite hilarious coffee mug for me from this amazing shop and was given A+ service as they helped him select the gift and send it to my new business. Unfortunately, the mug was damaged by the Post Office in route, not once, but TWICE as it made it's way to my office and Heidi responded immediately with top notch care and replacement of the gift at no charge. When it arrived damaged the second time, (again, NOT Heidi's fault, it was packaged impeccably), I had a good laugh and sent my sincere thanks and told her not to worry, it was the thought that counts... BUT that wasn't good enough for Heidi. She coordinated a trip from her stellar sales rep, Robbin Hydrick who happened to be servicing another small local business on my street that week. So I got the mug, kept the two broken ones as a shrine to hilarious life stories and am now doing joint orders of this particular product line with Tiddle E Winks at my business, Bliss Organic Day Spa. FIZZIES! FIZZIES! FIZZIES! FIZZIES! Be still my heart. I had to blink back the tears when I saw the Fizzies display on the shelf. For you whippersnappers who don't know about Fizzies. Fizzies are tablets that come in different flavors that you plop into a glass of water......and as you watch with delight/horror/amazement/etc. The tablet bubbles itself into a fizzy drink. http://www.fizzies.com/ You feel like you have stepped into a time capsule and have arrived at your childhood candy shop. Just when you thought all those candies you loved or wanted to get (but your mom forbade them) are gone forever......they are all here waiting for you! Button candy (I'll have to tell Masa in LA about this) Wax bottles of colored "juice" aka semi-toxic liquid Dozens of candy bars from the past. Retro greeting cards! Lots and lots more! One of the best parts of my visit here was watching the other customers. All the Baby Boomers were crying tears of joy. The younger customers were awed by the selection. A small store with an EXCELLENT selection of retro candy run by a friendly woman who I'm sure gets the candy by traveling back in her time machine!

EEEEE! I felt like a little kid walking in through the doorway - I would've skipped my way around the narrow store if not for the fact that I felt compelled to stop and touch everything! It all starts so innocently with a little freezer case full of ice cream bars, walls covered with vintage toys, games, books, ceramics, signs and then... just a few feet away... Walls lined with rows and rows of candy! Latest shopping highlights: - Vintage sign, reading "Drink Coffee. Do stupid things faster and with more energy" (I'm pretty sure I have to come back for this); - Pillbox, reading "Mother's Little Helper - Better Living through Chemistry;" - The following conversation: Owner: So, what's Billy's budget today? Billy's older friend/sibling: fifty cents. Owner: OK, so today, he can get these candies... Ahhh (sigh). Overhearing this reminded me of elementary school days when a single Jolly Rancher green apple hard candy was only five cents, and sold in singles! Five stars for the crispy, cool layout, awesome vintage signs and pennants, fun, cheery customer service and unique shopping opportunity. I will definitely visit Tiddle E. Winks every time I'm in the area.

Great selection of hard-to-find candy - including britsh Cadbury (Mars bar), retro stuff (idaho spud, valomilk), french chew taffy, chocolate twizzlers, and those ice cube chocolate squares I haven't seen since I was a kid (I *loved* those things). Plus other cool stuff like wonder woman and sock monkey tin lunch boxes.

THE. CUTEST. VINTAGE. STORE. EVER!!! I was like a kid in a candy store when I entered this haven for kitsch. They had everything a person like me could want including these cute Hello Kitty lunch boxes that read "I Love Nerdy Boys"!! That would be so appropriate for me because I love them too! Aside from that they had vintage candy and other knick knacks. I could totally go back when I am in town again! Perhaps when I do come back I will have a nerdy boy by my side, you never know! *WINK*

SUCH a cute little shop in 'Sonoma Square'! You always find a place like this in the touristy parts of a city or the well traveled parts at least. However I found this one the most unique of the six or seven different kinds I have visited around the states. The lady at the counter was the sweetest and made conversation with just about everyone that walked in and the shop dog was so darn cute! Too bad it didn't have a price tag! Haha This was the only place I managed to find a shot glass for that one friend that always wants a shot glass. Of everything so plain and bland in Sonoma (which I loved), this is where all the pizazz was hiding. You MUST stop here for all your unique, somewhat local, loud and 'did I just really see that?' gifts. I could have walked out with everything. Instead I complimented her beautiful button necklace, bought my shot glass and a cute cup that said "honey" with burger buns below. Get it? I could have gone broke easily.

I love this cute little shop! It's just off the Sonoma square, so be sure to seek it out if you're looking for old fashioned candy, toys or other retro stuff. There are many items I've found here that I have never seen anywhere else. This is one of my daughter's favorite stores. We stop here every time we're in Sonoma (which I wish was more often).

This place is FREAKING AWESOME. Lots of great candies, bags, signs, strange little knick knacks. SO AWESOME. AND, they stock Cadbury products made in ENGLAND, NOT the crappy stuff manufactured by Hersey! I might have to make more trips to Sonoma, now that I know about Tiddle E Winks!

So did I just die and go to Heidi Heaven???? Are you kidding - I was like a kid in a candy store - No pun intended:-) We stumbled in here on our Sonoma trip and have been back twice already! You want vintage candy? check, Adorable vintage map t-shirts, pillows, tea towels, glasses? check! The cutest kids plates in the world? (I mean come on friends - get pregnant so that I can buy you this stuff!) check! Ok, so maybe I'm a bit biased because the store is owned by a Heidi from Detroit (what are the chances) but this is seriously the store I would own in an alternate universe. Dont' miss this gem on your next trip to Sonoma!!

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this place! It is truly like stepping back in time. The shop is decorated really cute and well stocked with candies and items from all generations. It is my go to place for Charleston Chews. I even found a Soda Jerk jacket at one time, as well as vintage Wizard of Oz signs. Heidi the owner is extremely nice and has always been quite helpful when we have come in with new recommendations of things that we might like. She introduced us to "Fizzies" and now we are hooked. A must to visit when in Sonoma.

This place is great! My family and I moved up from Fairfax to Sonoma over the summer, where we had gotten used to plenty of "intersting"shopping. Tiddle E Winks definitely scratches the vintage itch for us. Incredible selection of candy, vintage reproduction toys and other assorted novelties. And the owner Heidi is very friendly. She always says hi to me when I walk in :)

This was our first stop in Sonoma on our whirlwind three day trip through wine country. Even with a million things on our agenda, we stayed here a long time. I turned back into a five year old at the penny candy store. They even had English candy I grew up with. I had to wait for relatives in England to send it every Christmas back then. When the owner of the store found out my boyfriend has never played tiddlywinks as a child, she set the board up right on the counter and he played until he scored. I could have spent hours more there, but there were places to go and wine to taste, so we moved on. It was my favorite store on our whole vacation.

This store is amazing! The owner Heidi has a great imagination. Going to Tiddle E Winks is like visiting Willy Wonka! I go weekly for salt water taffy fix, not to mention everyone in my family loves the store. My 15 year old daughter and her friends all go in to see Heidi, as she treat the teenagers with respect, which is very kind. You can find great gifts and treasures for your friends and family. For Valentines Day, I was able to find cool unique gifts for my Mother, Father, Sister, Daughter and of course myself! Stop in and ask Heidi about he cute little dog too! Enjoy! Sheana

The lovely lady who runs this place is sweet, friendly, and a fount of information! There's lots of wonderful old timey candy and fun things here and they are reasonably priced. Can't wait to come again on my next trip to Sonoma!

What a blast Tiddle E. Winks is to visit - by far and away the best store in the Sonoma Square area (just a half block of the main square). If you were born in the 1950's or 1960's run don't walk to this fabulous store - you will have fun fun fun like the girl in the old Beach Boys song. If you want your kids or grand kids to understand that you grew-up in a wonderful time period bring them along - they will have a blast. The owner of the store is terrific and has true passion for her store and it shows. The result: This shop is way beyond cute - it has soul. I have been to other nostalgia stores but the selection at Tiddle E. Winks is off the charts.

Love Tiddle E Winks! Before we moved to Sonoma, we found Tiddle E Winks and thought it was so cute! Now that we live here we take all our visitors to this store. My parents, who aren't big candy people, were thrilled to find some taffy from their childhood here. I've gotten presents for my nieces and nephews here and they've all been big hits! This is a great store to come to find a little gift for the older and younger....and in between crowd! Just make sure you have cash. :)

This shop is just darling. They have a huge selection of candy (nostalgic candy you haven't seen since you were a kid, and hard to find candy, as well as your favorites). They also have a good selection of gifts: embroidered pillows for every state, cute birthday surprises (surprise balls, confetti shooters, poppers, sparklers, etc), vintage finds, weird toys, etc. All in all, a very cute shop and worth stopping in. Come on, who doesn't love some sugar?

This is a really quaint place with a lot (and I mean a lot) of different types of candies so everyone will find something to their liking There is so much candy that it is hard to pick what you want! There are also reproductions of vintage metal toys from the 1950's and a lot of other misc stuff too. Like the cool soda fountain that serves soda pop etc. The 2 ladies that work there obviously love their job as they are as nice as can be and very helpful too!

This store is soooo much fun! I could tell that the owner took real time making this place fun and colorful! From the bottlecap clocks, funky retro-bra and the way the candy is display! It's so much fun to shop in and smells good too! Oh, and the oldies music doens't hurt either-- I love it! Keep up the good work!

Fun store with an eclectic selection of vintage and modern knickknacks that make great gag gifts or party gifts. Staff was friendly and didn't mind us browsing and laughing as we flipped through the metal wall signs and funny books. Keep an eye on Groupon, too - we found a 50% off coupon available!

I love this store. Everytime I come in they always have new and fun stuff. I especially loved being able to buy the SF 49ers coloring book and SF Giants activity book for my 3rd grade classroom. The candy brings me back to my childhood. Everytime I am in town I always stop into this wonderful store.

What an adorable little shop! They had some hilarious knick knacks and a big assortment of candies. It would be a great place to pick up fun little gifts. It had all kinds of classic games and candies. I really liked their big assortment of striped paper straws. Too cute! It's worth a stop in.

I would've given this place 4 stars, but the person working in the store didn't give any sort of acknowledgement when I came in. I expect anyone who works in a candy shop to be extremely happy and excited due to the large amounts of sugar based products easily available. This place has all the old school candy that my grandmother would allow me to gorge myself on when babysitting me, good memories always. Chick-O-Stix, licorice wheels, Now n' Later, scented gum, Necco, Cup O' Gold, Pike's Peak, etc... You get the idea, tons of fun even for adults. They also sell genuine vintage toys from all the different era's. The prices weren't too bad either. More worth visiting than all the other "cheesy" tourist shops in the area, then again it is Sonoma.

Fun candy and gift shop with a 50-60s flare. Looking for an oldie but favorite candy, it could be here. Lunch boxes, calendars, pins, magnets and other chotkies adorn the walls. Fun place to pop into and a great place to grab out of the ordinary gifts.

i absolutely love love love this place. whenever my friend and i are in the mood for candy we stop by Tiddle E Winks. the cozy atmosphere inside is enough to keep you browsing for hours through all the fun vintage novelties and drool-worthy candy choices :) i would give this tasty lil shop 5 stars however, last time i went in there an older woman was working and wasn't friendly at all---nothing like the owner, she's a doll. next time i visit Tiddle E Winks i'll be sure to take lots of pictures because the ones posted on here just don't do this charming little sweet shop justice. oh and if you want to take a look before dropping in, check out the website! http://www.tiddleewinks.com/ its ALMOST as cool as the shop itself ;)
