This is a great location to celebrate a birthday or special event. Location, Location, Location absolutely fantastic situated on the jetty overlooking the marina. Their is the option of indoor / outdoor dining, the place is not airconditioned by with so many windows opened capturing the views and sea breeze, their was no problem. The food we ordered consisted of entrees, mains, desert & coffees. The food was delicious and served in a timely manner. The service was hit & miss. No follow up after the meals were served, it was easier the get our own water for the table. One meal was forgotten completely, again it was easier to go to the bar to reorder some drinks than get the attention of the wait staff. I will add that they weren't busy on the day that we were their. If you looking for a place to eat with unsurpassed views then this is an ideal location to dine - 5/5. The food equally as good as the location but we were really disappointed in the service.

I booked here at the last minute and was really surprised. It’s a lovely location, I recommend the high tables next to the windows with uninterrupted views of the marina. We had the fried squid starter, risotto, marinara pasta and for a cheeky Saturday lunch sweet the cheesecake and crème brûlée. All of the food was delightful but the risotto was fantastic and a real standout! Couldn’t be happier with our visit. Easily comparable to the best places on the Sunshine Coast, in fact it was reminiscent of a holiday by the beach!

Another lunch at Tide on a quiet day. It's a beautiful spot amongst the boats in the marina. The restaurant is built for the view, looking out towards the bay. The atmosphere is 5 star and the food was delicious. But as usual, the service was poor. We were left waiting to be seated, had to ask for water, and had to find our own menus. The menu wasn't explained clearly, and as a result, I ordered too much. The restaurant was quiet but we waited quite a while for our meals. So, if you don't mind waiting (and being ignored), then go for the location and the food (once it comes).

**The most underwhelming dining experience this year.** I wish we dinned at the Boathouse. Food order: Beer-battered local snapper with chips and salad, seafood spaghetti marinara, and toasted Reuben sandwich. Service: The restaurant was busy and seemed understaffed that night. We waited for an hour for our mains, which turned us off from staying around for dessert. Verdict: My partner enjoyed the beer-battered local snapper. However, the marinara and Reuben dishes were very disappointing. Seafood Marinara: All I could taste was the tomato sauce. There was zero seafood flavor. Only one out of the three mussels was open. A tasteless meal. Toasted Reuben Sandwich: My son ate only half his meal because he couldn't taste the corned beef or red pickled cabbage. Seriously how hard is it to make a Reuben sandwich!!! A very disappointing way to celebrate fathers day.

Great overall experience. They served us without a reservation. The seafood pasta was delicious, as was the reuben sandwich. It did take 55 minutes for our food to come out though. Sitting on the jetty, looking down into the water was wonderful.

The food was delicious. I personally loved the creme brulee. The food was far better than Manly Boathouse, in my own opinion (which was shared by the rest of our table). The waiters came round occasionally to top up cups of water, but it might be worth giving the table a water jug. No air con, but there was a breeze as you're right on the water looking at the boats in the marina. It was busy and loud on this occasion as the restaurant was also hosting a 30th birthday.

Our last experience here was disappointing. Unfortunately the menu seems confused and lacks a clear direction. The staff were all new and couldn’t provide much information. The prawns were over cooked and couldn’t be easily separated from the shell. The fish was yum but small portion. The best parts were the scallops l, king fish carpaccio, and the big sliders- AMAZING! oh and their wine list is good! It’s still worth going but I wish their menu told a better story at this price point.

A marvellous spot. It is an awesome seaside atmosphere in the restaurant. From there, you'll see the local people fishing, sailing, boating, walking dogs, kids jumping in water and more. By then, bet you're thirsty and hungry. However, be patient. The service is slow. The staff are working but on a holiday mood. Hope, you aren't in a hurry. Do not over order. Ask what small and large share plates mean on the menu. Barra dish was superb. Sirloin was a great quality but it was over cooked for me and personally I didn't like the butter. Otherwise, Bob's your uncle. For me, I'm hungry for more.
